Someday Will I Be The Greatest Alchemist?

Chapter 658: Like a Strange Butterfly

Chapter 658: Like a Strange Butterfly

All the teachers and staff of the school had arrived and entered their respective residences.

It also appeared as though the other students who came to study music with the orchestral bands had arrived.

As to be expected given how they were mostly nobles, the amount of luggage they had was immense. The residents of the Sanctuary also helped with the move.

During that, there was an eccentric man among the nobles that moved into the Sanctuary very quickly.

This time, it was mostly sons and daughters of barons and baronets who moved to the Sanctuary, but that man was the second son of an Earl family.

I thought he was someone who, by all rights, shouldn’t have come.

Normally, a second son had significance as insurance in case anything happened to the eldest son, and while it may sound wrong, he was a replacement child. Even if that hadn’t been the case, I’ve heard that second sons should have started a branch family.

I wonder if it was an oddball that moved to the Sanctuary. I did think that, but he really was a strange one.

It was when Sophia, Maria, Marnie, and I went on a walk with our children.

Etoile and the babies knew their grandmother Freesia-san, but for some reason, Madam Rosary and Madam Elizabeth were carrying them because they were taking a break at work.It was at that time.

A blonde-haired blue-eyed man in his mid-twenties.

He wore frilly and flashy clothing that made it apparent that he was of noble birth.

The young man displayed his sparkly white teeth, knelt down in front of Sophia, and tried to take her hand to kiss it.

Unfortunately for him, Sophia left no gaps open, so the young man’s hand missed, grabbing only air.

「……mm, mmm, beautiful lady. I am Philip von Rosenmeyer. The second son of the Rosenmeyer Earldom. It must be fate that brought us together today. By all means, let us speak of our future together.」

「「「「「………………」」」」」

Marnie, Maria, Madam Elizabeth, Madam Rosary, Freesia-san, and I were all at a loss for words at the young man’s abrupt actions.

「No, I am Takumi-sama’s spouse. I will not be whiling away with other men.」

「Ooh! My apologies. So you were this gentleman’s wife, I see. This Philip does not have a penchant for pursuing with another man’s wife.」

Sophia looked unfazed, quickly dealing with the young man named Philip.

Was there a Earl’s second son on the list?

I vaguely recall having met him during the interviews, but I don’t remember much else..

Philip-san stood up and apologized for his discourtesy, and in the next moment, his gaze was glued to Maria.

「Ohh! Miss red-haired Milady. Ahh! How could this be!? I must have been born to meet a lovely lady such as yourself!」

「I-I am also Takumi-sama’s wife!」

「Wha!? Oh my!」

Maria hid behind me as she spoke, then Philip-kun looked at me with wide eyes. Then his gaze moved past me and went towards Marnie.

As soon as he started eyeing her voraciously from the long rabbit ears on her head to the tip of her toes, he quickly moved in front of her and reached out to grab Marnie’s hands.

「Ahh! What magnificent style! You are overflowing with adult charm! I only have eyes for you now!」

「……I am also one of Takumi-sama’s wives. This body of mine is only for him.」

「Wha!? All three of these beautiful women are his wives……」

Philip looked at me with wide, surprsied eyes.

And as soon as I he came to me, he held both of my hands and shook them.

「Ahh! Are you a God?! May I call you Master?!」

「N-no, could you please stop?」

「Ooookay! I will try my best to amass a harem like Master!」

It didn’t seem like my words did not reach him.

Philip-san screamed “Uooo!” and began running.

「My my, that boy is the same as always.」

「He is a good boy, but a biiiit unusual.」

「Madam Rosary, Madam Elizabeth, do you know Philip-san?」

Madam Rosary and Madam Elizabeth who were carrying Haruka and Flora were seemed to know Philip-san..

「Yes, he is famous in the Royal Capital. The second son of the Earl Rosenmeyer is an excellent but disappointing young man.」

「I heard he was excellent in both academics and swordsmanship. ……a shame, though.」

「I-is that so?」

Was he famous for being a disappointing? He seemed harmless, so maybe there’s no problem.

「Just as that boy said, he wouldn’t get involved with married women or someone’s lover, so I think it’s fine as long as you don’t listen to the rumors.」

「Indeed. If it weren’t for that one thing, he would have become popular.」

Freesia-san and the Madams were holding onto my daughters, but they must not have noticed that he tried to kiss my wives’ hands, so he really might actually have been a disappointment.

Still, he seemed like a guy that’s hard to dislike.
