Chapter 628: Revolt (Part 3)
Point-of-View: Jaden Xeno

I eagerly kicked my boots off before taking my pants off. I reached down for the middle of my thighs and detached the prosthetic legs, using my telekinesis to hold my body up as the prosthetics fell over and hit the floor with a clatter.
"Uh, are you alright? That was quite loud."
"All good, just took off my prosthetic legs," I replied, before turning to Cure, "So, do we need to do Spirit Fusion for this?"
"
"Cool, in that case, let’s go for it. I am curious to see what Spirit Fusion feels like and how it works, so-...wait, how exactly do I...?" I began, before chanting as this instinctive feeling kicked in, "[Spirit Fusion, Rejuven: Cure]."
Cure floated up as they began glowing brighter, before flowing into me, a strange sensation enveloping me as I felt something surge inside me.
I then looked down as I felt several muscle spasms across the stumps left around my thighs, before wincing slightly as the stumps burst open, bones, muscles, nerves and blood vessels rapidly extending out, before a layer of skin grew over them, a new pair of legs forming in barely a couple of seconds.
A soft thud echoed out as I shut off my telekinesis and let my feet hit the floor, a wave of emotion welling up as I felt the cold, slightly dusty stone floor against the soles of my feet.
They’re really back...I’ve got my legs back!
"
Seriously? I’ve got Demon Lord-level regen now?! That’s awesome, I-...
"Are you finished?" Inquired Mira, interrupting my train of thoughts.
"Uh, not yet, give me a sec," I responded, grabbing my pants and putting them back on, before adding, "Okay, you can turn around now, sorry for the wait."
"Oh, are these the prosthetic legs? How curious, I’ve seen people with wooden legs, but nothing like this. And you were walking so normally, usually those with prosthetics walk quite awkwardly," She mused, as she inspected the prosthetics in fascination.
Well, they are the product of technology several centuries ahead of this world.
"Feel free to keep them, I don’t need them anymore," I replied with a smile, before asking, "By the way, you said earlier that Spirit Fusion usually lasts for five minutes, right?"
"Generally speaking, yes. But you can extend that by a couple of minutes or so if you don’t use any Mana."
"Cool. Can anyone here in Revolt use Spirit Fusion?"
"Yes, five of us can, including me. I possess three Spirits, and of the other four, one has two Spirits, and the rest have one each."
"Nice, hope you don’t mind showing me a bit later. For right now, I’ll try summoning four more Spirits," I grinned, before undoing the Spirit Fusion, adding as Cure reappeared before me, "Thanks a bunch for regrowing my legs, real glad I summoned you. Looking forward to working with you, Cure."
"
Wow, it’s crazy how I have this instinctive sense of how to use Spiritual Magic. I understand how to summon and withdraw, not to mention Spirit Fusion. This is pretty cool.
Let’s keep going, I wonder what other kinds of Spirits I’ll summon? Only one way to find out!
I picked up another scroll, putting a drop of my blood on it before running my Mana through it, another Magic circle appearing.
The scroll burned up and crumbled to ash as the glow of the circle spiked intensely, a sense of anticipation rising up in me as I waited to see what this next Spirit would be.
As the glow abruptly faded, a figure appeared before me, the Magic circle disappearing as the Spirit lifted its head and met my gaze.
It was a humanoid reptilian creature, with light, glowing yellow scales, resembling the color of sunlight. Its eyes were a slightly lighter hue, and had a bright glow to them.
It had a sleek, slender body and was a bit shorter than me, its scales were smooth and its tail was long and a bit thin.
Huh, the scales on its back are kinda translucent, it looks pretty cool.
"Oh, my, a Sun Lizard. Not quite as rare as the Rejuven you summoned, but it’s another powerful Spirit," Remarked Mira, looking a bit envious.
"Hi, nice to meet you," I greeted the Sun Lizard with a smile.
"
"Glad to hear it. Oh, right, I need to think of a name. Hm...oh, got it! I’ll call you Star," I decided with a grin, before withdrawing her into me as she bowed her head.
Not done yet, I can still summon three more Spirits!
"I wonder what kind of Spirit you’ll summon next?" Mused Mira in fascination.
"We’re about to fine out...here I go," I responded, as I activated the next scroll.
I watched with bated breath as the Magic circle appeared, the scroll burning up before the ashes floated down, the glow of the circle brightening sharply before abruptly disappearing.
And in its place, was a black cat. Its fur was so dark that you could barely see the glow of its body. It had beautiful, deep blue eyes, and it was bigger than a regular cat, but not quite as big as a big cat, it was somewhere in between.
"Hi, nice to-...," I began.
