Lu Ci nodded. He didn’t think much about it and then asked, "I heard Aunt Qi is here?"

"Mm."

"Wanna come over to my place for dinner?" Lu Ci sat on her desk, looking down at her from above, raising his hand to mess up her hair as he spoke.

"No!" Su Yao immediately refused. "Not going!"

"How about I come over to your place for dinner?"

"..."

"Aunt Qi knows about our thing, right? Even if I perform poorly, Fu Shihan will be there to back me up. What are you afraid of?"

Even if it’s worse than Brother Han losing his wife, Lu Ci was oddly confident now.

Su Yao seriously thought for a moment, then shook her head.

"Probably not. My mom came over to accompany Wanwan this time."

"What happened to Wanwan??"

"Fine then."

"No need for thanks, Brother Han. You can just give me some money later," Lu Ci spoke very practically. "I have a project on hand, don’t you dare compete with me for it."

"I’ve been tight on cash lately."
