Chapter 747: What if I Don’t Like You Anymore
Chapter 747: What if I Don’t Like You Anymore
Fu Shihan spoke with a sarcastic tone. "If I remember correctly, the two of us should be in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, right?"
Su Wanxin slowly nodded. "Right."
"Then tell me, as a girlfriend, what were you thinking when you found out I was in an accident on the plane and lying unconscious in the hospital?"
Fu Shihan leaned back on the sofa, in a lazy posture.
"Take your time to answer, President Su. I’m genuinely curious."
Curious about what she was actually thinking to disregard him so lightly.
"Su Wanxin, ask yourself, haven’t I been good to you?"
Su Wanxin swallowed hard, her gaze fixed on Fu Shihan’s gloomy eyes, then she lowered her head and pursed her lips with a smile.
Her smile inflamed Fu Shihan’s anger completely.
"What are you laughing at?" Fu Shihan asked coldly.
"Nothing, just recalling some things."
Recalling how they used to reconcile after he got particularly angry in the past.
It has to be said, the benefits of youth are great.
Young, brash, carefree. As a child, one longs to grow up, but only upon adulthood does one realize how cruel the adult world can be.
"You still have the mind to think about other things while talking to me?!" Fu Shihan abruptly stood up, strode towards her, and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up at him.
His strength was significant, causing her to involuntarily furrow her brows.
"Do you think that just because I like you, I can’t do anything to you?"
"Yes," Su Wanxin’s mouth turned up slightly. "You just like me, and can’t bear to do anything to me."
Her nonchalant demeanor pained Fu Shihan. He released her and stepped back, feeling extremely distressed inside.
"What if I don’t like you anymore." He spoke softly, enunciating each word, "Su Wanxin, I’m giving you one last chance, tell me why you didn’t visit me in the hospital."
"Probably because... I was lazy," Su Wanxin shrugged her shoulders. "Drank quite a bit yesterday, didn’t feel like moving. If I were to add another reason, it would probably be because I didn’t want to see your family."
"What’s wrong with my family?!" Fu Shihan was infuriated. "Didn’t my grandpa not say anything when you visited our home last time?!"
Su Wanxin calmly watched him lose his temper and spoke indifferently, "Even so, I still don’t like him."
"..."
Fu Shihan took a deep breath, realizing she had no intention of making things right.
All the efforts he had made felt like punching a cotton ball at this moment, receiving no response at all.
Irritated.
Exhausted.
Fu Shihan felt he was being driven insane by her, and after watching her for a few seconds, he spoke again.
"Are you sure you’re not going to apologize."
"I haven’t done anything wrong; I don’t need to apologize."
"Alright then." Fu Shihan gritted his teeth and said, "If that’s the case, there’s no need for us to be together anymore."
Su Wanxin’s pupils shrank as she heard him say, "It was as if I was blind before, seeing you in the wrong light. Let’s break up, we’re no longer related from now on."
The room fell into a silence as still as death. Su Wanxin watched him intently for a long while, then nodded her head and said, "Alright, breakup."
Fu Shihan looked down, his eyes on her neck. When his gaze returned to her face, he said again, "Give me back the ring."
Last time, when he asked her for the ring, she refused to give it, so this time too...
"Alright, I’ll give it back to you," interrupted Su Wanxin, cutting off Fu Shihan’s thoughts. "I’ll return everything you want."
