Chapter 723: Proposal Rejected

Su Wanxin nodded in agreement, dispelling some of the gloom in Fu Shihan’s eyes and replacing it with a smile.

He pulled Su Wanxin to the couch to chat with her about Hua Zheng’s matters.

"Must I make a public appearance?"

"Definitely." Su Wanxin answered as if it was only natural: "The opening ceremony has been delayed for over a year, I should at least let the employees clearly know who they will be working with in the future, right?"

The company was of a special nature, and if they weren’t given reassurance, who would stay and dedicate themselves to the company’s cause?

"Then let them know privately."

Fu Shihan was adamant, he simply didn’t want her to make an appearance. Su Wanxin looked at him puzzled, and asked suspiciously, "Why? Give me a reason."

"Danger." Fu Shihan answered straightforwardly: "You are well aware of what the company will be doing next. As you set your sights on others, they are also watching you."

"Calm down," Su Wanxin turned her head to look elsewhere, "why would you suddenly bring up marriage?"

"I brought it up a long time ago." Fu Shihan was serious. "It’s you who never thought about this."

Su Wanxin smiled, then let’s assume she had never thought about it.

"Sorry, I really haven’t considered marriage yet."

"Let’s get the marriage certificate first, there won’t be much difference afterward. If you don’t want your family to know, we won’t tell them yet."

Fu Shihan soothed her gently.

"The marriage certificate is yours, and whenever you want to go public, we will. I just want you to be mine, it’s that simple."

His voice was husky, his tone certain.
