Chapter 664: None of Your Business
Chapter 664: None of Your Business
Fu Shihan had someone clean up the house and then walked over to sit beside her at a leisurely pace. He didn’t speak, just kept watching her, guessing what was on her mind.
Su Wanxin eventually felt so uncomfortable under his gaze that she protested with displeasure: "Stop looking at me."
"Did I upset you?"
"No."
"Then why are you angry?"
"Can’t I be angry at myself?"
Su Wanxin grew more irritated the more she thought about it, feeling incredibly exasperated.
If she hadn’t been holding back, she felt she might spill everything about Mu Xinghan any minute now. Even if he didn’t know that person, even if it probably wasn’t that important.
"Now you can tell me what you wanted to say, right?" Su Wanxin turned her head to look at him. "Or did you forget after dinner?"
"Let’s talk about your issue first."
"What issue do I have?"
"Getting angry with yourself for no reason must have a cause."
And he cared a lot about that reason.
"Don’t ask, I won’t tell you even if you do," Su Wanxin hugged herself, chin resting on her knees, definitively refusing, "It’s none of your business, anyway."
Her tone sounded quite problematic. Su Wanxin suppressed the anger in her heart, turned her head to look at the darkening sky outside the window, and began to wonder if she was about to get her period; otherwise, why would she be so irritable?
A fleeting coldness flashed through Fu Shihan’s eyes because of her words "It’s none of your business."
His dark eyes stared unwaveringly at her, and after a long while, he stood up, picked her up at the waist, and headed to the bedroom.
"What are you doing?!" Su Wanxin asked frantically.
He didn’t reply, but placed her directly on the bed, then, like an invader, encroached on the space beside her and pressed her down beneath him.
"Get your hands off."
One of his hands was wrapped around her waist intimately. Hearing her words, he acted contrary, hugging her even tighter, as if to defy her.
"Let’s first discuss whether it concerns me or not, and then we can talk about the topic that was intended."
Fu Shihan spoke in a calm voice, slowly uttering his words.
"The two of us, whether in name or in reality, have an extraordinary relationship. If I have to pick the one closest to you, you should know, it would be me."
"Why is that?"
"Because you bore me a child." He looked at her eyes, serious and earnest, "So to put it mildly, everything about you is my concern."
By this point, Su Wanxin seemed to have lost some of her momentum. She snorted coldly, turned her head to the side, and mentally drafted, quickly thinking about how to counter.
Fu Shihan gazed at her fair neck, his throat moved slightly, and he spoke to her in a husky voice.
"You being so unyielding makes me suddenly want to do something bad."
He felt her body tense, speaking selfishly.
"For instance, make you cry."
Su Wanxin’s breathing paused, her head buzzed unbelievably as she turned to look at him, thinking she had heard wrong.
"Don’t forget what you promised me. Do you want to try tonight and see if I can make you cry and beg for mercy?"
The abrupt change in topic left her completely unprepared.
Su Wanxin’s mind was a mess, looking at his very serious expression, yet his words were as rogue as they come.
She sensed danger, so she lowered her eyelids, shook her head, and said, "Don’t."
"Then be good, appease me, and I’ll let you off the hook today."
