Chapter 616: Sudden Car Accident

Chapter 616: Sudden Car Accident

He took a deep breath, shifted his gaze away from her, and urged in a husky voice, "Hurry up, or the photo will be gone."

"Excessive."

"Is this excessive?" Fu Shihan chuckled, "Is it because you don’t understand me well, or do you have some kind of misunderstanding about me?"

If it weren’t for the fact that her feelings for him were not yet strong, and he hadn’t yet gained the approval of her family, fearing she might leave at any moment, he would certainly do a lot more things to her.

Finally, Su Wanxin made up her mind, tiptoed, and considered kissing him. But a scream from far away caught her attention at that moment.

She looked in the direction of the scream, and then she saw an out-of-control car speeding towards them.

The speed was so fast, that by the time she saw it, it was almost upon them.

The car hit many people, screams filled the air, people were running away.

Some fell to the ground, others were sent flying by the impact. And because there were other vehicles on the road, those who fell suffered secondary collisions.

Su Wanxin’s mind buzzed, and everything went blank. She didn’t have time to think, her body had already reacted.

She pushed Fu Shihan with all her might, trying to get him away from this dangerous place. Fu Shihan stumbled backward two steps, but never let go of her hand.

He pulled her back into his arms and shielded her as he turned his body.

The two stumbled and rolled on the ground a couple of times, and the car finally stopped when it hit the billboard of the bus station.

Shrill screams kept erupting, Fu Shihan anxiously propped himself up to look at the pale person beneath him.

Su Wanxin was breathing rapidly, her body trembling.

"Are you okay?"

"Are you okay?"

Both asked each other in unison, and then they simultaneously froze.

Su Wanxin’s voice also trembled slightly. She turned her head to look at the injured crowd nearby, not noticing the blood at the corner of Fu Shihan’s eyes.

Fu Shihan stood up and pulled her to a safe area, then crouched down to check for scrapes on her legs.

She was wearing a skirt today, and both her knees and elbows were scraped due to the just-experienced ordeal.

Fu Shihan was heartbroken, even though he knew that compared to others, these injuries were minor and could be overlooked.

He slowly stood up, frowning at her. Thinking of how she instinctively pushed him just now, he held her tight, buried his head in her neck, trying to calm his emotions, but couldn’t.

"Does it hurt?"

He spoke to her, and she shook her head in reply: "It doesn’t hurt."

"It hurts for me." His heart ached.

Su Wanxin was startled for a moment, broke free from his embrace, and looked at him nervously. "Where are you hurt? Let’s go to the hospital to check!"

Fu Shihan stayed silent, then hugged her again, feeling the warmth of her body.

Su Wanxin was taken aback, raised her hand as well to embrace him, comforting: "It’s all right now."

Fu Shihan swallowed the dryness in his throat and slowly straightened up, gently tidying the stray hair beside her ear.
