Chapter 1155: Confirming All the Rumors

Su Wanxin sighed and quickly steadied her mindset.

After all, this day would come sooner or later; if they don’t stir things up today, he would do it tomorrow anyway.

After tidying up the documents on the desk, Su Wanxin stood up and went to the washroom to freshen up. She timed it just right, it was time to get off work.

Downstairs, Fu Shihan had been waiting for almost an hour.

He came back early and headed over directly after dealing with business. He intended to go straight upstairs to find Su Wanxin, but as soon as he opened the car door, a group of sharp-eyed reporters with cameras swarmed him.

So he had no choice but to sit back in the car, waiting for President Su to get off work.

"Brother Han, shall we drive them away?" Jiang Cheng looked at the scene outside and suggested.

Unexpectedly, Fu Shihan raised an eyebrow and retorted, "How long have you been with me?"

It’s not his first day hanging out with him, still asking such a stupid question?

Lazily throwing Jiang Cheng a look, letting him figure it out himself. Fu Shihan adjusted his position, comfortably and happily.

Su Wanxin walked out of the office building with a fake official smile on her face.

These days, the reporters had almost figured out her commuting hours, determined to take a picture of her and Fu Shihan in the same frame. Now they estimated she was about to get off work, so half of them shifted to ambush her.

With Lin Rui’s protection, Su Wanxin quickly walked towards Fu Shihan.

But she had only covered half the distance when she saw the car door open and Fu Shihan getting out.

Seeing him from afar, the smile on Su Wanxin’s face froze a little, and her mind went blank.

The flashlights kept flickering, and the reporters’ teasing questions kept coming.

They asked if their relationship was truly as rumored in the reports, when the wedding would be. They asked if President Fu was looking for her for business or personal reasons today, asking when they really got together.

Su Wanxin exchanged glances with Fu Shihan from afar, watching him stay calm and composed, smiling with a hint of mischief and pride.

He just stood there, waiting for her to walk towards him step by step. Waiting for her to stand in front of him, to cooperate with him, solidifying all the rumors about them.

Her walking legs suddenly felt a bit weak, and her face started to feel warm.

Su Wanxin slowed down her pace and glanced sideways at the reporters who had been following and taking pictures.

To stand openly and squarely with Fu Shihan, she’s longed for this moment for countless years.

She didn’t dare before, then she couldn’t.

Now that this day had finally come, she just felt that this path was a bit too long, so long that she almost couldn’t reach the end.

"I thought you would hide until I went up to find you."

Fu Shihan looked at the person who walked in front of him, teasing with a faint smile. He had just seen Lin Rui sneak down and guessed it was Su Wanxin’s idea.

"I can’t hide from everything; I can’t stay in the company overnight, can I?"

Su Wanxin lowered her head and answered softly, trying to pass him and get into the car. But unfortunately, at the moment they brushed past each other, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her over.

Losing her balance, Su Wanxin gasped, stumbling into his embrace, looking up in panic and meeting his gaze.

"What are you doing?!"

Listening to the unmistakable tension in her voice, Fu Shihan’s eyes softened a bit, his gaze falling on her blush red lips.

"What are you afraid of?"

He asked softly, tightening the arm around her waist, his throat bobbing. Despite restraining himself, ultimately, he couldn’t resist taking advantage under the watchful eyes of the crowd.
