Anna was busy in her thoughts, making plans in her mind how to enter King's Villa when old grandpa called her name and said, “ Someone is looking for you outside ”

“ Really!!! ” She exclaimed excitedly, thinking that Ethan came to meet her, however, all her happiness faded away when she saw John sitting on the chair, holding a package of wedding dress.

“ You, what are you doing here ? ” Anna asked unhappily as she moved her gaze away from him.

“ Anna, my darling, did you forget our marriage was fixed on the day next to tomorrow, see I have bought the best dress for you, you would look gorgeous in... ”

“ Just shut up John, stop your nonsense, didn't I clear out things between us, then what are you doing here ? ” she yelled while he looked up at her while smiling.

“ Darling, don't be mad at me, I came here for another reason, but then I thought why not fulfilling this one too, your mother gave your hands to me, don't you want to fulfill your mother's wish, huh? Don't be so rude to your mom ” he pouted, which made her more angry.

“ Because, she didn't know that you would kill her son, don't test my patience level and leave ” she yelled coldly.

“ A..ah.. don't be so rude that you regret in future, I told you I came here for another reason, don't you wanna know? Let me tell you then, I came here to arrest your lover ” he said while smiling faintly, she frowned.

“ Whattt.. how could it be possible, huh, you are just a police officer, and he is an international cop, who are you in front of him that you came here to arrest him ” she sneered.

“ I'm indeed nothing, but the law is, look, what Crime your lover has done ” he said while throwing out King's confession to him in which he confessed that he killed innocent people of India without reason and that he was surrendering to an Indian officer John. Anna frowned, and looked up at him with stunned eyes.

“ This can't be true, he can't do this, he can't, John, you know him, he is not that type of person, he can't kill people ” she mumbled.

“ But, he confessed himself, now no one can save him ” he said as he curled up his lips.

“ No.. ” she mumbled.

“ But, I can save him, I have a way ” he said while looking deeply at her frowned eyes.

“ Really, John please help him, he must have reasons, he wouldn't have killed innocent people, he must be doing it for some reason ” she said, looking at him, while he clenched his fists.

How much she trusted him, can't she have a little faith in him too? He had also done wrong things for some reason and that reason was herself.

He then shook his head and replied, “ I can help him, but what will I get in return? ”

Anna looked up at him with frowned eyes, “ What do you want? I can do anything in order to save him ” she said with pleading voice which made his heart ached, but he again looked at her with faint smile and said, “ Marry me ”.

“ What!! ” she looked up at him angrily, he laughed sarcastically, and said, “ Choose wisely, what do you want? Your lover to live with you, or the life of your lover? I guess, it's not difficult to choose ” he said looking deeply at her eyes, while she was continued looking at him angrily, but she didn't have any option now, she couldn't let Ethan suffer in prison, she didn't know what was going with him and why did he make such a confession, but she knew very well that he can't do the things he confessed, but he wasn't letting her to meet him either, she can't make him change his mind, now she had only one option to save him.

She took a long breathe as few drops of water rolled down her cheeks, she then looked up at him, and said, “ Okay, I agree, I can do anything for him, I'm ready to marry you in order to save him ”.

A corner of his heart was filled with happiness as now she agreed to marry him, but a corner of his heart was still aching because she agreed for King.

‘ If only half of the love you had given me that you are giving him, I wouldn't have turned into this, I wouldn't have to do the crimes that I did, only if.. ’ he sighed, and then smiled, “ Be ready, we will marry each other the day next to tomorrow, and King would be free from this accusations, I will set everything ” he said.

He was double crossing both of them, at first he managed to get a signature in that document of confession from King by blackmailing him with the name of Anna, and now, he made Anna agree for their marriage, by taking the name of King. He had now known that love is the weakest spot in the heart of everyone, you can make them do anything you want once you touched the weakest spot of their heart, he knew it more than anyone else, because he had experienced it himself, Anna's father was capable of commanding him only because he knew the weakest spot of his heart, and now he was doing the same with these two.
