Chapter 81. Mira’s Stats.
Chapter 81. Mira’s Stats.
Ray did the same with Rime by placing him next to his sister.
Both hatchlings shifted slightly in their sleep but didn’t wake up and slowly cuddled up close to each other.
"They’re so peaceful," Helen whispered softly, trying not to wake them up.
"I can’t wait to see them all grown up." Emma whispered out as well.
"They won’t stay small for long so you have nothing to worry about." Ray said quietly. "In a few months, they’ll be too big for this room."
Hearing this, Emma giggled cutely and couldn’t wait to see them all grown up.
Ray and everyone else gently left the room as they gave the Wyverns the space they needed to sleep peacefully.

That night, after another intense training session in the yard, Mira showed Ray her status screen.
They had just returned from the yard, looking sweaty and exhausted.
However, they were deeply satisfied with how intense their training had been.
So they bathed and were now sitting on the edge of Ray’s bed, checking out Mira’s status.
"Look.." Mira said as she pulled up her screen.

Looking at Mira’s title, the monster tide title was similar to what Ray had gotten.
As for the monster Slayer, Mira obtained this skill for slaying over a hundred monsters but still not quite as high as that of Ray.
The Ogre breaker title was because she had single-handedly defeated the second ogre in command by herself without anyone helping her.
And the Shield of the village title was due to how she constantly reduced the monsters trying to pass through the eastern barricade while the Village Mentor title was earned due to how many young girls or girls similar to her age in the village, looked up to her as a mentor and role model.
Many young girls hope to one day replicate what she had achieved and were eager to not give up on awakening a class as well in the future.
Pushing this thought aside, Mira leaned her head on Ray’s shoulder before asking. ""We’ll really be leaving soon, won’t we?"
"Yeah, but we could stay for about three to four days so that mom and Emma will get used to having Ember in the house."
"Rime will be joining us?"
"Most definitely. I can’t leave two dangerous beasts here for my mom and sister to handle them on their own."
"Yeah, you wouldn’t want to see your children growing into adolescent and sneaking out into the farms to steal the farmer’s goats and sheep now won’t you?" Mira teased and Ray rolled his eyes with a smile on his face.
"That’s not funny."
"Says the guy who’s smiling already."
"I hate you."
"Liar, you know you love me."
The two smiled as they simply stared at the ceiling, enjoying the warmth and comfort of being in each other’s arms.
"I’m going to miss this place." Mira said softly.
"Me too."
Hearing this, Mira smiled and closed her eyes while Ray wrapped his arms around her and they stayed like that until they both drifted off to sleep.

Three days passed by in a flash, now the villagers had seen and had fully adjusted to the presence of two wyvern hatchlings flying around.
Ember followed Emma everywhere now and Emma used the opportunity to brag about her cute little Wyvern.
Ember waddled behind her every time with her cute soft legs and she chirped happily whenever Emma spoke.
As for Rime, the little black Wyvern seemed to be more reserved than its sister.
However, it did warned up to Helen, due to how she always fed it milk so most times, the little wyvern curls up near her feet whenever she was cooking.
In fact, both hatchlings were growing noticeably larger each day because already, they were twice the size they’d been when they first hatched and this really shocked the villagers who had been watching the two cubs cautiously from a safe distance.
At first many were worried and were scared of having these two cubs with them
But as they realized the benefits of having them.in the future, many relaxed a bit but were still reasonably cautious about the cubs.
On the morning of the fourth day, Ray and Mira stood in front of the house with their packs ready behind them.
Helen and Emma were already standing in the doorway while Ember was perched on Emma’s shoulder.
Her small wings fluttered nervously as she realized Ray and Rime would be leaving soon.
Meanwhile, Rime sat on Ray’s shoulder as he looked sad at the fact that he would be leaving his sister.
"You have everything you need right?" Helen asked worriedly.
"Yeah, we do." Ray replied gently.
Hearing this, Helen let out a sigh of relief before stepping forward to pull Ray into a tight hug.
"Please be safe out there and take care of yourselves, okay?" She whispered.
"I will, Mom. I promise."
Helen pulled back and cupped his face in her hands. "I know you’re strong and I know you can handle yourself too but you’re still my son and I’ll worry about you every single day until you come back home, okay?"
Ray smiled knowingly and nodded in response. "We’ll come back. I swear it."
Helen nodded with tears streaming down her face, then she turned to Mira and hugged her just as tightly as she did Ray.
"Take care of yourself and take care of him too, okay?"
"I will." Mira promised as she hugged Helen in return.
Helen smiled as her tears continued to stream down her cheeks while Emma stepped forward to her big brother with her eyes now red and puffy thanks to her tears dripping down from her chin.
