Chapter 163 - 158: Outer Body Incarnation, Borrowing Body to Manifest Divinity, The Secret Revealed (2)

Expressions of agony appeared on the three men’s faces. They clutched their heads tightly as blood trickled from their mouths and noses.

Finally, as the men and the objects resonated, a foreign personality began to form in their minds. It suppressed their original wills with absolute force, gradually seizing control of their bodies.

Synesthesia.

Yi Beidou had used this state before, employing Synesthesia to perceive the True Intent within objects. When encountering an intensely strong mental magnetic field, his mind could be impacted by its will, even causing his own personality to change.

For example, when he used Synesthesia on Fang Xiuyuan’s Silent Heart Sword, his mind was almost influenced by the Nameless Sword Lord, who had reached the Corpse Dissolving Realm before his death.

However, even a Saint Expert would typically find it difficult to achieve such a deep state of Synesthesia with the True Intent within an object, let alone be so influenced that a new personality is born.

This is, unless, a strong connection already existed between them and the object’s field of True Intent.

For example, if one’s Cultivation of a corresponding Martial Arts True Intent reached a profound level, their Life Magnetic Field would change. Then, certain memories or fragments could be implanted in their consciousness using the Heart-to-Heart method.

This is the so-called Outer Body Incarnation technique.

Back in Dragon Tiger Town, a Corpse Dissolving Immortal used this technique to take advantage of the chaos. He became so indistinguishable from the genuine article that he successfully deceived the senses of Ding Huiyuan and Wei Cheng, making his escape.

This was the incarnation technique he used.

However, his technique only went as far as muddling auras; it hadn’t truly reached the stage of Borrowing Body to Manifest Divinity.

Evidently, the three Super Warriors here were not candidates who had been groomed for years by these Corpse Dissolvers to be their incarnations, yet they were still able to achieve this state.

This was because Pioneer Group, with the aid of modern technology, had developed Elixir No. 9.

This latest product was also known internally as the Descent Potion.

Its primary ingredients were derived from an ancient South American witchcraft potion formula.

Ancient South American Witchcraft, devised to bring Wizards closer to nature and the Deities, led to the invention of various secret elixirs. These drugs had powerful psychoactive and hallucinogenic properties, capable of briefly maximizing a person’s ability to perceive conceptual magnetic fields.

Under the influence of Elixir No. 9, the user’s mental state could briefly achieve a deep level of Synesthesia, creating the necessary conditions for the True Intent within an object to affect a human body and generate a new personality.

This was the Pioneer Group’s Descent Technique.

Those from the Hidden World could not openly appear in Donghua and place themselves in danger, so this method was born out of necessity.

This technique, however, was not without its cost. A body that was too frail could not withstand the elixir’s power. Only the Saintly Body of a Super Warrior possessed such capability.

But even for a Super Warrior, using the elixir was tantamount to casting a Forbidden Secret Technique; the user’s life expectancy was generally no more than three days.

Furthermore, a Dharma Artifact imbued with a sufficiently powerful True Intent was required for another will to successfully ’descend.’ This allowed the new consciousness to possess adequate self-awareness and corresponding Divine Powers, enabling it to wield a portion of the original entity’s power.

This placed harsh demands on the Dharma Artifact. Crucial memory fragments had to be poured into it to ensure the generated consciousness was relatively complete, and the entire process was tremendously taxing on the Dharma Artifact itself.

It was essentially a single-use consumable.

It was uncertain if ordinary Corpse Dissolvers could even survive their next reincarnation tribulation, let alone have the capacity and spare resources to create such Dharma Artifacts.

For them, it was an almost unimaginable luxury.

Only an ’Ancient One,’ with an unparalleled understanding of the dao of Corpse Dissolution, reincarnation, and their own consciousness and magnetic fields, could accomplish such a feat.

Manpower, materials, and power—all three were indispensable. The conditions were, to say the least, exceptionally strict.

This was a privilege that only the terrifying existences hidden in the deepest shadows could command.

The middle-aged man watched the trio with a calm expression as the looks of agony on their faces slowly faded.

The Super Warrior in the center was the first to awaken. He shot upright, his spine as straight as a sword threatening to pierce the sky. His eyes were chillingly cold. As his gaze swept the room, the middle-aged man—a Perfect Super Warrior himself—found it difficult to breathe, as if a blade were at his throat.

"Please restrain your True Intent, sir. Otherwise, the Array here might be exposed. There are no fewer than twenty Saint Realm experts in this city right now. If we’re discovered, the consequences will be dire."

The middle-aged man said, bowing respectfully.

"An Outer Body Incarnation? So, what does my main body require of me?"

the man inquired.

"Please wait a moment, sir. The other two have yet to awaken."

The middle-aged man said respectfully.

The man glanced at the two beside him, a flicker of surprise in his eyes.

’It seems this matter isn’t so simple after all.’

A hint of amusement flickered in the man’s eyes.

Soon, the Super Warriors to his left and right also awoke, their expressions and demeanors now completely transformed.

The man on the left now had a sinister air about him, tinged with a playful, devil-may-care casualness.

The man on the right’s face was stern and majestic, his expression both domineering and composed.

"A body not specifically prepared for an incarnation... Pioneer Group’s technology, I presume?"

The majestic-looking man on the right clenched and unclenched his fist, immediately assessing the body’s actual condition.

’A body not specifically prepared and cultivated for an incarnation will inevitably have compatibility issues. The power I can display will be significantly reduced.’

"The only advantage," the sinister-looking man on the left said with a smile, "is that we don’t have to care about the life or death of this flesh. We can freely exhaust its potential. If we use a few Secret Techniques, we can make up for the poor compatibility. I suppose we can manage to display about sixty percent of our power."

"Sirs, this is the current intelligence and the operation plan. We will be waiting outside. Please call for me if you need anything."

The middle-aged man placed three files on the table, then respectfully withdrew from the room with his confidant, closing the door behind him.

’There were some secrets he dared not overhear.’

The three men picked up the files and quickly scanned through them, rapidly grasping the current situation.

"How interesting," the sinister man said. "To require the three of us to act together... this young man must be quite the figure. A Saint Realm expert at twenty-seven? There have been few of those in all of history. Taking down a genius like this brings the greatest pleasure."

"The Martial Hero Conference, a tournament in Modu... It seems the era is beginning to change dramatically once again," the majestic man said, shaking his head.

"That’s not our concern. Our purpose is to eliminate obstacles for our main bodies."

"No matter how the era changes, it remains within our grasp,"

the stoic-faced man said coolly. He seemed to sense something, as if he could feel the location of his main body.

"Since we must work together, let’s start with introductions."

"The Illuminati. ’Black Earl’," the man with the wicked smile said first.

"Pioneer Group. ’Cyan Sword’," the stoic man said, his voice just as frigid.

"Secret Technique Heaven. ’White Elephant Lord’," said the majestic-looking man last.
