Chapter 580: Comrade Ye 564, where are you putting your hand? "Little Tangyuan!" Tian Sangsang pushed through the crowd, chasing after the man in gray.
She ran, and so did the man in gray. This only solidified her conviction that what he was holding was Little Tangyuan.
She was extremely anxious, charging forward with incredible determination. Her sudden burst of energy was astonishing. Within moments, she was right alongside the man in gray. "Give me the child!" she said coldly, reaching out to grab the child from his arms.
The man had been holding the child with one hand while covering the child’s mouth with the other. Now, he had to block Tian Sangsang’s actions. As his hand let go, a soft and weak cry escaped—it was Tang Yuan’er, it was him!
Her eyes welled up with tears, and Tian Sangsang almost broke down crying.
"You crazy woman!" The man in gray suddenly grabbed Tian Sangsang’s wrist with such force it felt like he could crush her bones. "Get lost!"
"Let go!" Xu Zhengyang, who had rushed over, delivered a hard kick to the man’s ankle.
The man winced in pain, his eyes flashing a trace of malice. Just as Tian Sangsang reached out for the child again, he suddenly raised his hand and flung Little Tangyuan into the air!
Tian Sangsang froze, her breath catching for a second.
Fortunately, the child landed safely in Jiang Jinghuai’s arms.
"Stay put!" Xu Zhengyang subdued the man in gray.
Tian Sangsang’s heart hadn’t yet settled when, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a flash of a knife. She couldn’t tell how many traffickers were here, but one man dressed plainly was lunging toward her with a knife.
Enraged, Tian Sangsang deftly sidestepped, lifted her leg, and tripped him. With her right foot planted on his back, she bent down, snatched the knife from his hand, raised it, and brought it down. A wicked grin played on her lips: "Come on, what are you waiting for?!"
The man pinned under her struggled to turn his head. When he saw the knife descending toward his face, his vision went black, and he let out a pig-like screech. "Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me!"
This woman was crazy, utterly terrifying!
"Are you looking to die?" A deep voice sounded above her as a man’s hand encircled her waist, deliberately pulling her back. "Killing is against the law. Focus on taking care of your son."
The knife in her hand was taken from her, and something small was placed into her arms.
Holding the small bundle tightly, tears streamed down Tian Sangsang’s face.
Little Tangyuan was wrapped in yesterday’s swaddling cloth, which had been clean then but was now filthy. Meeting a pair of bright, shiny black eyes, she recognized her Little Tangyuan. The child’s chubby cheeks were smudged with dirt, but it didn’t diminish his cuteness one bit.
He seemed to recognize her... or maybe he didn’t. Either way, he waved his tiny hands weakly, making soft "ah ah ah" sounds.
His voice, once strong and vibrant, was now feeble.
Tian Sangsang gently kissed him, her gaze suddenly dropping downward as she said through clenched teeth, "Comrade Ye, where exactly are your hands?"
Jiang Jinghuai froze, startled. He looked down in confusion and quickly moved his hand that had been resting on her waist.
He wasn’t even sure how his hand had ended up there.
Xu Zhengyang glanced at Jiang Jinghuai’s sharp, serious profile and whistled inwardly. Ye Jiang, pulling something like this off with such a straight face—what a rogue. Was his earlier swim in the river not refreshing enough??

Meanwhile, at the Hua Family estate.
Hua Jun sat on the sofa with a face full of resentment, her chin raised haughtily as she looked at Hua Zifeng across from her. "How effective was what you gave me?"
Hua Zifeng glanced at her indifferently. "Guaranteed steamy nights, no problem at all."
Hua Jun snorted coldly, her crimson lips pursing as she remained silent.
"Sis, you tried it?" Hua Zifeng suddenly straightened up with interest, clearly amused. "You really tried it? Judging by your unsatisfied, bitter expression, did it... not work? That’s impossible."
Hua Jun snorted again, glaring at him with a mix of disdain and anger.
Hua Zifeng chuckled, clapping his thigh as he came to a conclusion. "Looks like you’re doomed, Sis. If even that didn’t help, your husband must truly be beyond saving. Only someone genuinely incapable would be a lost cause."
"Who would even try something so vile?" Hua Jun stood up, grabbed her bag, and headed for the door.
"Right, because you really love him," Hua Zifeng sneered, curling his lip mockingly.

Several police cars drove side by side on the highway.
In the lead car, Tian Sangsang cradled Little Tangyuan, who had been retrieved safely, her heart still racing.
She touched his soft, short hair and kissed his tiny forehead.
He now looked like a little gray kitten.
Recalling the last time they had seen the man ahead, Little Tangyuan had cried and reached out to him. But now, calm and indifferent, he was no longer leaning toward that man. Likely, his little heart had been broken.
Tian Sangsang removed Little Tangyuan’s clothes and wrapped him in her own coat, checking him over from head to toe with the utmost gentleness.
Thankfully, there were no visible signs of abuse on Little Tangyuan’s body.
She dressed him again, but Little Tangyuan remained motionless, lying listlessly, which gave her quite a fright.
Little Tangyuan’s eyes brimming with tears looked on the verge of spilling over.
Realizing he was hungry, she touched his tiny belly, which felt completely empty.
Tian Sangsang reached out and fumbled around beside her.
Nothing—nothing but empty air.
A bottle? No bottle!
Only now did she realize she’d left in such a hurry that she hadn’t brought anything with her.
Sitting next to two large men, both police officers, Tian Sangsang didn’t dare sneak anything out of her dimensional space. As she grew increasingly anxious, Little Tangyuan pouted and wailed, "Wah wah wah..."
His raspy cries filled the air.
His little round body wriggled like a tiny worm, crying out hungrily with a pitiful pallor.
Tian Sangsang’s heart twisted painfully.
Little Tangyuan was downright starving, his tiny hands flailing about until they bumped into something soft. He instinctively burrowed toward his mother, drawn by the scent of milk, which awakened the little glutton within him!
Tian Sangsang gently held onto his tiny paws, panic rising as she thought about turning around and lifting her shirt, but with two unfamiliar men in the car... without a word... it would be just too...
The baby’s wails echoed throughout the vehicle, and Jiang Jinghuai’s eyes darkened with a deepened gaze.
Xu Zhengyang glanced over and asked enthusiastically, "Mrs. Jiang, is the little one hungry?"
Tian Sangsang nodded awkwardly. "Yes."
Xu Zhengyang swerved the car to the side and stopped near a small wooded area, getting out swiftly. In the trailing police cars holding the traffickers, an officer poked his head out of the window. "Captain?"
"You all head back first."
Jiang Jinghuai got out as well, frowning as he looked around. "If the car’s stopped here, where are we supposed to find food?" There weren’t any small shops near these woods.
Xu Zhengyang: "What food?"
Jiang Jinghuai replied coldly, "The child is hungry, and there’s no food in the car."
With a sudden look of realization, Xu Zhengyang gave an exaggerated "Oh" and shot Jiang Jinghuai a strange glance. "Who says there’s no food in the car? The food’s right in the car!"
