After washing his hands, he didn’t dry them, but instead shook his hands a couple of times, "Let’s go inside to eat."

The two of them went inside like that.

Folks from the countryside weren’t so particular; after finishing their tasks, they would wash casually before going inside to eat, no need for drying. After washing, shaking hands off quickly sufficed, as Yang Chun and Yang Gang had done.

Yet, he thought about how this girl knew so many things, and she had servants attending to her, likely like city girls — very particular about things. So, when she was washing her hands, he quickly went inside to find a clean cotton cloth and handed it to her.
