Chapter 609 - 604: Learning She’s Sick

Luo Dashan nodded, "I saw him."

"Sister-in-law isn’t really with him, is she? What would my older brother do?" Luo Honglan felt agitated. Luo Zhiyong had told her to take good care of Fang Ping, to watch her, and once he settled his family affairs, he and Fang Ping would be together again.

Hearing Luo Honglan’s concern, Luo Dashan sighed and said, "Hong Lan, if your sister-in-law likes him too, let’s just let it be. Don’t keep trying to match your brother with her. That man seems nice."

Luo Honglan had previously thought Liu Fengsheng was a good man and even considered introducing some women she knew to him, but now realizing his intentions toward Fang Ping, she immediately felt he was not good, defiantly saying, "But didn’t you notice sister-in-law barely interacts with him? In her heart, she still loves my brother."

"Is that so?" Luo Dashan, an old-fashioned man, married Zhou Yunmei when they were young just because it was age-appropriate and then lived together as partners for life. He didn’t understand about liking or loving, and couldn’t tell if Fang Ping really had feelings for Liu Fengsheng.

Luo Honglan didn’t discuss these feelings with Luo Dashan anymore, thinking to herself, "No, I have to let my brother know that sister-in-law is sick, and if he can come back, he should. Otherwise, if Liu Fengsheng keeps courting her, he might actually win sister-in-law’s heart."

Luo Dashan felt this was not appropriate, but seeing Luo Honglan very determined, he said, "You decide, but don’t delay your brother’s job."

"Okay." Luo Dashan, holding Haohao, hurried, "Dad, let’s go back quickly. I’ll call Chen Jie to see if I can reach my brother."

Coincidentally, just as Luo Honglan mentioned contacting Luo Zhiyong, they returned home and upon opening the door, saw Yaoyao holding a phone, calling out ’Dad’ into the receiver.

Hearing this, Luo Honglan’s eyes lit up with joy, asking Yaoyao, "Yaoyao, whose call is it?"

Yaoyao, having already chatted with Luo Zhiyong for a while and now wanting to play as she saw Haohao return, quickly handed the phone to Luo Honglan, "Auntie, it’s Dad."

Luo Honglan took the phone, shouting excitedly, "Big brother, you finally called back."

Upon hearing that it was Yaoyao who answered the phone, Luo Zhiyong felt it somewhat strange. As he listened to Luo Honglan’s tone, it seemed as though she had been waiting for his call.
