As soon as she exited the space, she heard a knock on the door and Mrs. Jiang calling, "Xue’er, it’s time to eat."
"Coming!" Jiang Xue responded and then quickly opened the door to see Mrs. Jiang and Little Reunion standing outside, which made her smile.
She reached out to take her son, held him, and walked downstairs. Once downstairs, Niu had already set the table, and Father Jiang was seated, waiting for them.
Jiang Xue walked over, gave Father Jiang an apologetic smile, then placed Little Reunion in his chair and served the food in front of him before picking up her chopsticks and bowl.
After the meal, Jiang Xue went back upstairs. Little Reunion wanted to follow. Jiang Xue smiled, took him from Mrs. Jiang’s hand, and went upstairs with him.
Back in the room, Jiang Xue took Little Reunion into the space again and went straight to the pavilion where she had previously played the zither. When she got there, the zither was present, but Little Fox was not. Jiang Xue didn’t mind and set her son beside her.
When Little Fox heard the sound of the zither and came over, he saw Jiang Xue concentrating on playing while Little Reunion crawled on the ground.
Seeing Jiang Xue so inattentive to Little Reunion, Little Fox was a bit angry and held down Jiang Xue’s hand, saying: "Woman, diligence is good, but you can’t just leave your son aside. Tuanzi is still so small; what if he gets hurt?"
Little Fox’s words made Jiang Xue remember that she brought her son in, and she had just set him on the ground. Realizing this, she immediately looked down to find her son.

However, she didn’t know that just as she left, Little Reunion opened his eyes, smiled happily, and greeted the Big Tiger as it walked in.
The Big Tiger glanced at Little Reunion, then sat down by the bed to watch over him. Seeing the tiger guarding him, Little Reunion’s smile deepened. He patted the edge of the bed, signaling the Big Tiger to come closer.
The Big Tiger looked at Little Reunion, thought for a moment and understood his meaning, then stepped up to the bed. Little Reunion watched, grinned widely, and then crawled onto the Big Tiger’s back.
He wasn’t sleepy at all at this point and couldn’t fall asleep. Besides, there was nothing fun to do in the room, so he might as well go out exploring the forest and chasing after prey.
The Big Tiger, ensuring Little Reunion was seated securely, started stepping out of the room and headed toward the forest. Being the king of the mountain, its regal demeanor never changed wherever it went.
When the Big Tiger carried Little Reunion into the forest, the animals scattered in fright, running in all directions. Little Reunion watched the fleeing animals and giggled loudly.
Patting the Big Tiger’s head, Little Reunion signaled it to head toward the hilltop. He had heard from Little Fox that his mother always practiced on the hilltop; he wanted to see it for himself.
The Big Tiger didn’t refuse and carried Little Reunion up the hill. After about half an hour, the pair reached the hilltop, arriving at the large rock where Jiang Xue often practiced cultivation.
