Chapter 996: Fox Teaching the Zither

Chapter 996: Fox Teaching the Zither

Only, did Liu Meimei think that by doing this, he would have no way to deal with her?

Liu Yiming sneered. As the class monitor, some things still had to go through him; even his signature was required to make them effective.

He just didn’t believe that Liu Meimei wouldn’t need him someday. With this thought, the anger in Liu Yiming’s heart slowly dissipated.

After tidying up the textbooks, Liu Yiming walked out of the classroom. Jiang Xue watched him, her eyes flashed. She had clearly seen that Liu Yiming was looking for Liu Meimei. It seemed her thoughts were correct, this matter was related to Liu Meimei.

If that’s the case, she needed to find an opportunity to give her a good lesson, to prevent her from always thinking about causing trouble for her, or even plotting against her.

While thinking about this, Jiang Xue quickly gathered her books, then carried her small school bag and left the classroom, heading home.

Returning home, Jiang Xue hugged her son and played with him for a while before going upstairs directly. After entering her room upstairs, she shut the door and instantly stepped into the space.

The Little Fox had been waiting for her, and unlike usual, there was a guqin placed in front of it.

Jiang Xue glanced at the guqin, which was obviously not an ordinary item, and was somewhat surprised. She asked, "Where did this guqin come from? It looks very valuable."

"From the study, used by my first master. Of course, it’s valuable, isn’t it?" The Little Fox gave Jiang Xue a side-eye. It had been so long, yet she didn’t know what was in the space. She even wrote in the study every day, with the guqin right beside her, and she hadn’t noticed.

Jiang Xue ignored the Little Fox’s tiny mood, sat down on the stool, then reached out to try the sound on the guqin.

The sound was distant and very pleasing. Jiang Xue immediately liked it and then said to the Little Fox, "The sound of the guqin is nice, I like it. Are you going to teach me now?"

The Little Fox glanced at Jiang Xue and then said, "You’re sitting in the spot, how can I teach?"

Jiang Xue was a bit speechless, moved aside, leaving the seat empty, and then asked, "Can you teach now?"

"Not yet, I need to wash my hands first." With that said, the Little Fox turned around to wash its hands nearby. Only then did Jiang Xue notice there was a copper basin beside her, filled with clear water, and an incense stick lit beside the basin.

Seeing this, Jiang Xue was somewhat surprised and was about to ask the Little Fox why it was lighting incense, but then she saw the Little Fox, after washing its hands, waving them over the incense.

This made Jiang Xue even more curious, and she asked, "Little Fox, what is this?"

"Don’t ask so much, just come over and do as I do." The Little Fox said while stepping back. Jiang Xue looked over, mimicked the Little Fox’s actions, and then returned to the guqin.

At this time, the Little Fox gradually transformed into a human form, and with its faintly visible hands, it played the guqin while teaching Jiang Xue the finger techniques.

Luckily, Jiang Xue’s memory was quite good, and she was watching carefully, quickly remembering the techniques. The Little Fox, fearing she might forget, even taught her a couple more times.

After teaching, it transformed back to its original form and then told Jiang Xue, "Your turn!"

Jiang Xue nodded and, with the finger techniques in her memory, started to play. Initially, the sounds were intermittent and very unfamiliar, but after half an hour, they gradually became more fluid.

The Little Fox watched on the side, nodding with satisfaction. Jiang Xue was engrossed in her practice until the Little Fox reminded her to eat, only then did she stop, and then stepped out of the space.
