Chapter 851: Personality
Chapter 851: Personality
Sophie Wilson walked into the company carrying a cake box and happened to see Mason Wilson coming in as well. She asked curiously, "Dad, where have you been?"She had gone downstairs to buy some snacks and stroll around the mall, so why was her dad just getting back?
Wasn’t he supposed to return to the company with Charles Seymour?
"I brought some fruits to your mom," Mason Wilson said.
Well, it was Charles Seymour who "manipulated" him, but he had to admit, Charles had a point; he did have some shortcomings.
But... it was still frustrating!
This feeling was indescribable and stuck in his chest, uncomfortable!
"Sophie," Mason Wilson said, "that Charles really watches over you closely."
Even though that kid "bullied" him like that, he couldn’t just ruin his daughter’s relationship with that brat. After all, his daughter liked him.
But he felt he still had to give a reminder.
Sophie Wilson laughed out loud, "He’s just petty and jealous."
"He set you up," Sophie said with a smile, "He did it on purpose at the dinner table."
How could Sophie not know this person’s nature?
This guy’s mind was sometimes smaller than the eye of a needle. During dinner, her dad kept watching them, and that guy was definitely not happy about it.
Could she not understand what he meant when he said those words back then?
"You knew?" Mason Wilson stared at Sophie, surprised.
Sophie nodded and suppressed a laugh, "Of course, that’s just the way he is. But his intentions are good. Dad, you should also take better care of Mom. The two of you need more interaction for the relationship to flourish."
"Even if you do something, the other person should know it’s for their own good. Often when you act but don’t express your feelings, it can lead to misunderstandings and unnecessary regrets," Sophie said earnestly, thinking of their past life.
This lifetime, he had truly learned his lesson, though he might have overlearned it a bit.
His shamelessness sometimes gave her a headache.
Mason Wilson opened his mouth; Sophie was right, but the frustrating feeling in his heart intensified, prompting him to mutter, "His sense of revenge is really strong."
Sophie had to nod in agreement and said with amusement, "Dad, let’s not bother with him, okay?"
After hearing this, Mason Wilson couldn’t help but laugh too, patting Sophie’s shoulder, "As long as he’s good to you."
Sophie nodded emphatically with a smile, "If he ever dares to treat me badly, Dad, you go beat him up!"
"Alright!" Mason Wilson agreed without hesitation. He had been wanting to punch the brat who snatched his daughter away, just didn’t find a proper excuse so far.
Sophie didn’t hold Mason back from his work and then took her things to Charles Seymour’s office.
Watching Sophie, who radiated happiness even in her walk, Mason Wilson smiled in satisfaction. Sophie’s happiness was all that mattered.
Though Charles Seymour might be occasionally "naughty", thinking about it carefully, he only behaved this way around those he was truly close to; he had no such patience for others.
But Charles Seymour’s patience... was really hard to put into words.
Mason Wilson shook his head with amused exasperation, sighed, and turned to his work.
It was normal for a son-in-law to act a bit mischievous with his elders, he just hadn’t expected Charles Seymour’s mischievousness to be so characteristic.
