Lily Turner was surprised and puzzled, but her mouth was forced shut by Easton Holmes. She wanted to speak but couldn’t, so she glared at him, questioning him with her eyes.

"Don’t look at me like that. I mean exactly what I said. Just listen to me and eat," Easton said as he scooped a spoonful of rice and brought it to her lips. "Open up!"

Seeing this, Lily Turner stood up to avoid him, but before she could make any move, Easton pulled her onto his lap.

She instinctively struggled, but he wrapped his arm around her waist and leaned toward her ear, threatening, "Don’t move or I’ll find another way to keep you still."

As he spoke, he tightened his grip on her, pulling her closer to him as she sat on his lap.

Lily Turner was so frustrated she didn’t know how to respond. However, she couldn’t break free from his hold, so she stopped struggling and let him hold her.

Seeing the woman in his arms settle down, Easton knew his words had worked. He smirked at her, "Good girl! Now, a piece of fish as your reward."

He put the spoon with the rice back in the bowl and picked up a piece of fish with chopsticks to feed her.

"Lily! Are you trying to make me come up with another way to feed you?" Easton teased as he brought the piece of fish to his mouth. Before Lily could react, his lips moved toward hers.

As his face suddenly got closer, Lily quickly realized what was about to happen and leaned back just in time to avoid his incoming lips.

"I’ll eat by myself!"

It was embarrassing enough being fed, but being fed mouth to mouth would make her want to crawl into a hole from embarrassment.

Easton knew Lily would shy away, but he didn’t take any precautions for that. He didn’t want to upset her over this.

His goal was to get her to eat, nothing more, at least for now.

"You really don’t need me to feed you anymore?"

Easton quickly chewed and swallowed the fish in his mouth, then glanced sideways at the woman sitting on his lap.

Lily Turner didn’t dare to casually shake her head and refuse anymore. The current situation didn’t allow her the freedom to act as she pleased. "I’ll eat by myself, you’re hungry too, right? Let’s eat together."
