Chapter 96: The Rough Way Part III
Chapter 96: The Rough Way Part III
“What the hell is this?!” The screamer asked as he whipped the reins to make the yellow bird run faster.
“That’s my question! This is the third time that you showed yourself and pulled it to us!” Another voice came with a scolding tone, while the owner was rushing the other bird to run after him.
GAAARZ!!!
And the last voice was from a 4-meter-tall monster. It had rough skin and massive feet. It was no doubt that if this big guy stepped on the two prey he was chasing just once, both would be flat on the ground like some grilled bananas in a few seconds!
The huge dinosaur let out a loud roar again, before speeding up after the siblings who liked getting into trouble, especially Wisana, who could swear to God that he did not even ask for one!!
Who would have thought that going for a walk while the birds were taking a rest just for a few hours, would make him get bad luck and run into this big guy!!
“Jinnie!!” He groaned.
“Yes, master?”
“You can scan monsters’ information now, right?”
“Yes, I can.”
“Scan this one, quick!!!”
Wisana commanded fast, turning his head back to look at the creature from a million years ago with an extremely frightened face.
“KYAA!! Na, watch out ahead!”
“Sh*t!”
The first problem had not been solved, yet, and here came another one. There was a big branch blocking his way, but luckily Waree warned him just in time to dodge, or he would have crashed into it, fallen off the bird, and been left to count the stars on the ground by now!
“That was close!” The lucky one let out a relieved sigh.
“Watch where you’re going when you ride the bird! you wanna die?!”
“Uh... sorry.” Getting harshly scolded by the pretty sister, the brother made a withered face. He pressed his palms together into a wai at her to apologize. Then he looked back again to see that big dude cracking the branch down with one foot step on it, his face turned all pale.
Damn, it was like a freaking tank!
“Master, the information of the enemy is ready. Would you like to see it now?”
“Hit me!”
“Copy that.” After the AI girl finished speaking, there was a blue screen popping up in front of Wisana right away.

T-ranna, mini local boss of the 25th ramp. It is a dinosaur type monster that likes chasing its prey. Its attacks will not stop until the prey gets caught. This monster has strong armor and is durable against magical attacks.
A suggestion for those who had lower levels, run, and never look back.
----------------
“Oh, hell no!!”
After he finished reading, Wisana opened his mouth to whine loudly, sounding so freaked out that Waree had to hold in laughter.
“Let me see that.”
“Huh?! Are you sure? Maybe you shouldn’t. I don’t want you to have a heart attack.”
“It’s okay. Let me see it.” Hearing she said that, he pushed the screen to her obediently. A part of him was curious to see that crazy T-ranra for another time, but the other part was afraid that he would get a heart attack himself.
Wisana whipped the reins to speed up the bird. The tall one was leaning down closer to Gold, before stroking its golden feathers softly.
“I know you’re tired, but please run as fast as you can, or we’ll be that big guy’s lunch for sure. You got that?”
SHRIKE!
The bird screamed in reply like it agreed with him. So, the former carriage hauler kicked its feet off the ground fast, sprinting like it had forgotten that it was old now!
“Na! I’ve got a plan!” Waree shouted. A big smile was on her pretty face when she turned to catch eyes with him.
“To get away from this thing?” The older one asked, holding his breath.
“No, to fight it.” The other one replied deadpan, while she was closing the information window down and opening up the inventory instead.
“W... what’d you say?”
“We’re going to fight that T-ranra.”
“Are you serious?! Even with this one? It’s a boss monster!!!” The man yelled loudly, not caring about keeping his look anymore. But when he caught those emerald eyes that were sparkling of hers, his confidence just increased somehow. Finally, the handsome face appeared with a smirk that had not been seen for a while again.
The smirk was like when he was countering Lord Inferno!
The smirk that said his blood was boiling with fun!
“What’s the plan?” Wisana asked with the tone in his voice changing.
“It’s simple, brother. Just jump off the bird and counter it directly!” The brief plan made the listener burst out with a laugh.
“It sure is. I like that!” He said, curling up a grin.
“I know right?!” Waree giggled.
And a second later, the siblings jumped off the bird they were riding without even slowing them down.
“Get away from here, bird.” Right when his feet touched the ground, Wisana commanded Gold. The pair of golden-brown eyes were staring at the enemy calmly.
Actually, this T-ranra was the third local boss he found, after traveling north. It was kind of funny, too, because he could not decide if he should call this situation the best luck, or the worst timing to find these rare monsters so easily within a few hours.
Some players might fear this mini boss with some tough skills like this, but not Wisana.
He was having fun somehow. This probably was because he got kind of used to how to fight in the Pride already, or it was just because he had found out that the magic warrior class suited him perfectly like it was God granted!
“This one is different from before, Na.” A clear voice of Waree reminded him, her figure moving nimbly to be side by side with him. The man did not say anything in response, except for shrugging slightly, before waving his hand.
“Yeah, I know just by looking at it.” His tone did not sound playful like the casual. His sharp eyes were sparkling with seriousness instead, just exactly like from a while ago. Wisana fought those two enemies with this eye expression, too. The expression that she had never seen before.
It was exactly the same expression, the gleaming eyes he had when he defeated Lord Inferno with the damage of more than 125 million!
“Burn my enemy down to ashes, May the spirits of the flame answer to my prayer.” A spell was cast softly before a flame was lit on Wisana’s palm.
“Be under my command, flame spear!!” After his words, the hand-sized flame on his palm blazed up, and his pair of amber eyes sparkled fiercely.
GROWWWL!!!
As fast as his thoughts, when Wisana could summon a blazing flame on his palm, the 4-meter-monster approached him quickly, like it had been waiting for the prey to stop running for too long. T-ranra bared its fangs, aiming to maul the target in one bite!
At the second of disaster, a soft smile appeared on the girl’s face.
“As long as I’m here, don’t expect that you could do any harm to us!”
THUD!!
T-ranra stopped dead in shock when it could not attack the prey in front of it. It was like the monster ran into an invisible wall, so its missive body stopped just a few inches away from Wisana’s.
“It’s stunned now, Na!”
“Okay!” Wisana jumped away from the spot quickly. He seemed to be more agile than before. Maybe it was because of the new clothes that made his body lighter. The tall one charged right into the dinosaur with a huge fire ball blazing in his two hands instantly.
“Compared to that damn Inferno, your speed is too slow that it kinda gets pathetic now, you giant lizard!” Both of his palms placed on its rough skin, the good-looking face flashed a hint of satisfaction for a second.
“The first technique, Fist Destruction!”
