Chapter 694: Viola (3) Part II

“A... Argh!” Wisana gushed out blood. He tried to pull the sword out of him, but the more he did, the tighter it was to his body. The pain ran down his spine.

“You’re wasting time, kid.”

“Hey!”

He had not prepared anything when Lucius rushed at him with another sword that wanted to cut his head off. Even though he was wounded all over, his super senses still worked well. The boy bent his back and dodged the blade at the very last second.

Once he regained his footing, he struggled to run in the other direction, even with the sword in him.

Then, he changed his mind abruptly. He decided to dash back to Lucius with double swords that he called up with his Element.

“No matter what you do, you’re not my equal, Vincent!”

Lucius shouted. He used his sole magic sword to defend himself from the double swords. Everything happened so fast. In the blink of an eye, Lucius, who definitely had a higher ground, brushed the double swords off very easily. He even threw his sword and stabbed it at Wisana’s leg. Wisana dropped to the ground!

“A... Argh! Shit!”

Once he was on the ground, Lucius took this chance to point his finger at him and was about to shoot the beam in close range!

Before he could do anything, hundreds of light swords appeared around him. Lucius clicked his tongue irritatingly. Finally, he unwillingly turned around and dodged all the attacks from the light swords and flew up into the sky.

He turned to look at Waree, who was still there with Shindanai.

Lucius muttered and rushed at Waree.

Hundreds of light swords still surrounded him. Yet, their speed was only a slow-motion to him. In the end, he reached Waree with his big energy ball and was about to attack her in close range!

The big explosion caused a huge quake in the area.

The smoke started to fade and Lucius was there in the pit.

The red eyes looked around. He could not spot Waree nor Shindanai at all.

He turned the other way and saw Maysa with her Illusion gun.

“...I... It’s not that easy, Lucius.” Maysa said softly. She was panting heavily.

“No, it’s not, Maysa. Your repeated move doesn’t work on me. Illusion magic may be invincible for others, but not me, kid.”

A harsh voice came from behind Maysa. She was startled. Lucius in the pit faded as if he had not been there before. Before she realized it, the beast was already behind her.

“The third one.” Lucius grinned.

“Stop it, Lucius, you son of a bitch!!”

Wisana screamed and was struggling to climb up, but it was too late.

The massive damage brought the girl to the ground. A beam shot through her cold-bloodedly. There was no spell to help her anymore. The chief of staff just lay there.

“SON OF A BITCH!!”

Wisana was so furious he almost went mad. He gritted his teeth and finally pushed himself up again. He dashed at Lucius with all his might.

“Sigh~ Vincent, can’t you let me get rid of you one by one? You should learn some manners and wait.”

Then, Lucius threw a sword at Wisana’s other leg. The boy rolled on the ground.

A short cry got Lucius halted. He glanced back and saw Ifrit there raising its huge claws. It was about to pounce on him.

“Tsk! A Solomon beast? Such a waste of time.”

He did not even have to move an inch when he shot a spell at the beast. That was enough to brutally cut its head off.

Ifrit slowly faded away and a big golem was there in its place. It had already thrown a punch!

The attack finally got through. Whether or not it was successful, everyone could see from the fact that Lucius was holding the golem’s fist with his bare hand like it was nothing. It did not work!

“Stupid piece of rock.”

Then, he shot the golem down to bits!

He turned the other way and saw Waree.

“Finally found you.”

He raised his hand above his head and called up a big energy ball in a blink. The green eyes were opened widely. Shindanai was still lying there.

“..R... Run, Waree. Run to everyone. We can’t fight him now!”

Shin screeched. However, Waree gritted her teeth tightly. She clapped her hands together and called her favorite beast, Lunarius, the moon beast, who was an expert in defensive spells.

“No... This won’t do, Waree. Run away. Even Lunarius can’t hold it!”

“No! I’ll protect you!”

Waree refused to listen. She stood in front of Shin and helped Lunarius build the strongest wall she could!

“Please, flee. Don’t worry about me. My body’s beyond healing now and I’ll die anyway. Please.”

Lucius smirked when he heard that.

“Love is beautiful.” He said. “Good. This saves so much time.”

Then, he threw the energy ball out with all his might. Even though the speed was not that bad, Waree could not dodge it. If she did, that meant Shin would die. She wanted to collide head-on with it!

At the very first moment that the wall was hit, it was so hard that Waree was thrown off. Yet, she gritted her teeth and endured it. Lunarius tried to push the ball back, but it was too powerful for her. Lucius’s power was beyond theirs.

“Not good, master. We’re all going to die at this rate. Please run away like that man said, master!”

Lunarius shouted. However, the master still tried to fight with all her might, even though her hand was all burned!

“What a spirit. As expected of Natalia’s daughter. But that... isn’t enough, kid.”

Then, everything in front of Wisana went white. The explosion and the heat were more powerful than the previous ones. The flames could have swallowed the whole city.

It took about ten seconds before everything died down.

There, Waree and Shin were lying on the ground and Lunarius was nowhere to be seen. It was a game over for them.

“Shin! Nam!”

Wisana could only shout. He could not even push himself up. He tried to endure the pain and stand up, but his body did not listen to him anymore.

“The fourth one.” Lucius drawled. “Well! Now that the extra characters are gone, let us finish this, shall we, Vincent?”

He looked at Wisana as if he was a little chick in his hand. The boy could only grit his teeth, feeling so angry that he could not do anything to the man.

ROARRRRR!!!

Then, a roar was heard loud and clear. Lucius, who was about to walk to Wisana, closed his eyes.

“Sigh~ I just realized there’s another one.”

He muttered and turned around.

There, a dragon was threateningly spreading her black wings. Her eyes shone so brightly with anger. Sarquros in her true dragon form gathered her power at her mouth. Lucius whistled.

“Woah, a dragon boss can get this strong when she signs a contract with Vincent?”
