But before he did, a gunshot rang. The accurate attack got his hand twitching and the ray was shot past Maysa and Wisana only an inch away!!

A huge ray swallowed the ground in a straight line. The light grey eyes were opened in awe, while Wisana was gritting his teeth.

“Ms. Maysa, take Mr. Vincent away for recovery. We’ll take care of it here!!”

Valentine shouted. It was her who shot Lucius. She was holding a medium-sized Illusion in a rifle form in her hand. ‘The Flaming Rose’ was ready to fight!

“But... Ms. Valentine...” Maysa turned to her.

“There’s no time to waste. Mr. Vincent is very crucial to this war. We’ll stall time until he can come back again. Quick!”

Maysa nodded before she gave Sarquros a signal to carry Wisana out to a safe place (even though Samie was so strong she could carry Wisana on her shoulder and Maysa could only lead them away.)

The situation was confusing. The players around there did not know what to do. The stranger had so much power he could destroy the whole city, so it was kind of risky to charge at him. Even the gods did not stand a chance.

“Hey, that prick hurt our leader. Get him!!”

Some of them were dedicated and rushed towards Lucius fearlessly, fully equipped. They did not even listen to Valentine’s ‘Run! Don’t fight him!’ at all.

“This is another mistake they made, Scarlet,” Lucius said smoothly. “Once we’re done here, don’t forget to remind me to give them a lesson on how to get rid of flies.”

Lucius did not hesitate to raise his hand up above his head, calling an energy ball so huge that everyone had to halt and look at it. The red ball slowly expanded until it was as big as a hot air balloon!!

“I... It looks like that cannon...”

Everyone started to mutter because the energy ball looked like William’s ‘Gungnir’!!

In the blink of an eye, thousands of small rays dashed out of the energy ball. They killed the players one by one. Not only the ones in the area but also everyone in the city!!

The horrible action prompted everyone to scream for their lives as if it were horror-themed music. However, the red eyes did not finch as if it was nothing. Scarlet also looked at the scene nonchalantly!

Thirty seconds had passed before everything died down. The city was so quiet it seemed like nothing was alive anymore. The attack was not as powerful as William’s cannon, yet it guaranteed a hundred percent kill.

“The extras are out. Now it’s the protagonists’ turn.”

Lucius said gently. He looked at Valentine and Vis, who were still standing in the same place. Lucius’s attack could not do anything to her. To be precise, Lucius intentionally left her out since he knew it was useless.

“What a power.” She swallowed her saliva. “As expected of one of the people who established the Dominion. Compared to the third generation of the four gods like us, he’s out of this world.”

“What should we do, Rak?” Vis whispered.

“You and I won’t do. I don’t know if Marcus and Lavi are still good. The effect of the fight was severe. Of course, you can always fill up your HP, but injuries and fatigue weren’t easy to recover, especially when they went all out like that.”

“Does that mean there’s only you now?”

Vis asked with a serious voice. Valentine clicked her tongue.

“Like I said, the fight was freaking pointless.” Valentine shook her head. “Oh well, I promised Ms. Natalia. No matter what, I’ll fight, even if it’s only me alone!”

Valentine intentionally shouted loudly for Lucius to hear. However, the red-eyed man did not flinch.

“Hey, hey, who’d give him to you, Valentine?”

Marcus stood up again. He knocked his fists together as a sign that he was so ready to fight!

“So, you’re the leader of the alliance, right, red hair? Good! I can finally end this stupid war!”

Marcus yelled at him. Then, the small man walked up to Marcus with ten swords floating around him.

“The attack just now, compared to Vincent’s punch, felt like an ant’s bite.” Lavi spat blood and pointed the sword at Lucius. “I told you I don’t care who you are, but I’ll make sure to make you pay for what you’ve done to my subordinates!”

“Marcus! Lavi!”

Valentine smiled happily. The two men turned to her and smiled as if they were saying ‘Let us fight, too’. Seeing that, Vis sighed with relief.

Now, three of the four gods were here. It seemed like a match.

“Lucius.”

Scarlet said softly with a worried face. Lucius raised his hand.

“No need. I can go alone.”

He said before he stepped forward. That was a signal for every god to switch into full fighter mode. Marcus was the first to charge at him. He threw a fist. Lucius could only sigh.

“I told you that no matter how powerful you are, it’s useless if you can’t hit me.”

He dodged Marcus’s attack again very easily. Lucius was about to counter when Lavi jumped over Marcus’s head.

“We’re not stupid enough to make the same mistake!”

Lavi shouted before he ordered his five swords to dash at Lucius. The red eyes were opened a little wider. He decided not to attack Marcus and evaded it. Every sword plunged into the ground. But that was what he wanted!

Then, Lucius felt a killing intent that was aimed at him. He turned to the source and saw Valentine there with her big rifle.

The bullet was shot. The red eyes were opened so wide because Valentine’s bullet dashed faster than anyone’s. However, he only raised his hand. The bullet was slowed down and eventually stopped in front of him.

“What? Why is my bullet...?!” Valentine screeched.

Marcus did not hesitate to use that chance to dash at him again from behind. The red eyes turned to look at him. Once the big man threw a punch, he used Marcus’s shoulder to push himself up and flipped over the Bloody Iron Beast.

Again, Marcus was hit by the explosion at the back. He lost his footing and fell.

“What about this?!”

Lavi shouted and slashed his sword at Lucius’s neck. Of course, Lucius dodged it easily again. He used the explosion on Lavi when a sword got in the way and broke. Lucius smirked.

“The ability of the Warrior’s Grave, I see? Are you using the broken swords’ power to power up? I thought Vincent destroyed every single one of them. You’re so fast at adding more. But it’s nothing for me.”

Lucius swung his hand. Lavi could only step back.

At that moment, every sword that was surrounding him was demolished, even though Lucius had not done anything but his exploding magic!

“M... My swords.”

Lavi murmured in shock. That was a total disaster.

“I told you that your limitation is the key, Lavi.”

Then, Lavi got hit by the explosion and was thrown off. Valentine decided to change her Illusion into two pistols and dashed at Lucius. He looked at her and sighed wearily.

“A gunner wants to do a close-range combat? Is this bravery or foolishness?”
