Chapter 676: The Three Monsters and The Battle of The History (End) Part VI
“This is my best one, Vincent. No one’s ever made me use it before.”
Executioner
Only looking with the naked eye, it was apparent that the sword in Lavi’s hand was dangerous. Yet, the man’s eyes shone brightly with excitement. He even grinned. He had never been this excited before in his life. Before him was the number one man in Pride. And he was about to go all out on him!
“Jinnie and Mo, this is the last time. Please lend me your power.”
“Yes, master/father.”
Wisana muttered softly and the girls accepted the order. He reached out his hand and his bracelet spun around in full.
“This is also my best weapon, Lavi.”
Wisana gathered every luminous particle around him and formed a sword. The blade was translucent and glittering like a gem. It was completely different from Lavi’s. If that was black, this would be the strongest white!
Excalibur
Another legendary sword was brought out, making the audience quite uncomfortable. Even though both of them were ready with their weapon, they did not move an inch. No one even blinked or breathed. They knew that this would be the final showdown of this fight.
Only a blink and they could have missed the best thing!!
The two men stared at each other...
No one moved. Their breath was stable. They were focusing on every nerve in their bodies.
In a split second!
The big movement finally happened. They dashed at each other with their last strength. They slashed the sword at each other at a close range so fast that no one could catch up. They moved past each other and stopped there!
It was such a speed duel that no one could see what was happening.
What everyone saw right now was them facing their backs to each other. No one moved.
“The result’s out.” Marcus and Valentine harmonized.
Slash!!
Vincent dropped to the ground. His blood splattered out of the wound on his chest that slowly appeared. Maysa covered her mouth.
“It’s over, Vincent,” Lavi muttered and glanced back at Wisana.
“Yes, it’s over, Lavi.”
BOOM!!
The ground in front of Wisana exploded and split into two. Lavi dropped to the ground with blood terrifyingly splattering out of his chest!
Wisana had to push himself up with his sword. Another hand grabbed onto the wound on the chest that was flaming up. However, the smile on his face was so clear that Lavi let out a long sigh.
“The last attack of yours was very sharp, Vincent. It’s a shame that I don’t have enough strength or otherwise we’d be even.”
“Do you know why you lost?” Wisana asked as if he did not care about what Lavi just said.
“....” Lavi did not say anything. Wisana pointed behind him.
“Because the weight of our blade is different. Mine was heavy with hope from those morons, while you only wanted to beat me. I’m not only fighting with my own desires. I’m here as everyone’s Vincent. When I’m with them, I can’t lose.”
Hearing that, Lavi glanced behind Vincent. The members of the Nemesis were all there, looking at their leader with worried faces. It was not only hope, but every trust they had was with him.
Lavi scoffed softly before planting his face on the ground.
‘So, this is it, your true power, Vincent.’
‘I’m happy I got to fight you.’
“...You won, Vincent. You’re number one now.”
YAYYYYYYYYYY~~~~~!!!!
The mad cheer roared again. The result got flipped again and no one could even sit down properly. Wisana smiled at Lavi and finally sat down. He glanced at Marcus on the ground. The big man only raised a thump with a straight face.
Wisana could not do anything but laugh and raise his thumb at him, too.
“Na!”
“Love!”
Before he realized it, Maysa and Sarquros jumped at him. Of course, he had no more strength to resist that. They fell on the ground.
“You moron! I was worried sick!”
Maysa screamed loudly. She was so in tears with happiness. She buried her face in Wisana’s muscular chest. He laughed and patted her head softly.
“What are you worrying about? I told you I’ll win.” He said cheerfully.
“My love, you’re incredible.”
Sarquros smiled.
“Of course, I wouldn’t stop at this, you know?”
“Stop running your mouth. You almost didn’t make it!”
“Ouch! It hurts, May!”
Maysa could not help but feel irritated, so she pushed the wound at his ribs. The man screamed out loudly in pain.
In the end, both girls had to carry him up. He was no different than the losers. He actually did not look like a winner at all. At that moment, during the loud cheer from everyone, Lavi and Marcus got to their feet, too.
Both of them walked up to Wisana and stopped behind him. Everyone went silent.
They did not know what the two men would do with the winner.
“You got me so hard, Vincent. Your dragon power is really scary, but not being able to kill you is scarier.” Lavi said.
“Huh! It’s just so-so. You’re lucky this time. I’ll pay you back ten folds later.” Marcus crossed his arms and emphasized his words.
Wisana and the girls smiled.
Wisana, then, reached his hand out to the two men, who were halted by it. They turned to look at each other and laughed so loudly at it.
“Well, you won this time, Vincent!”
Marcus laughed and shook Wisana’s hand harshly.
“You’re very good yourself, Marcus. I didn’t think I’d make it when you shot me.”
Wisana beamed and turned to shake Lavi’s hand.
“The magic field was tough. I’d have died in there, Lavi.”
“Huh... I heard you also have a magic field, right, Vincent?”
Lavi got him laughing. Jeez, this man saw through everything. When he said he was not able to kill me, it was all a lie. These two were the best of the best. Wisana really respected them.
The audience gave him a deafening applause. They were impressed by the thrill, the strong will like that of a lion, and a rare sportsmanship.
“For me, it’s a tie.”
Valentine clapped and smiled.
“Why’s that?” Vis turned to her while clapping.
“Because everyone’s incredible.” She beamed with sparkly eyes.
----------------
“You guys are good. I’m saying this from the bottom of my heart, really.”
It was the small girl from afar. Viola was clapping so loudly, and her eyes were in tears. It was not because of how much Wisana had improved, but it was because everyone was so good and showed great sportsmanship. It was the future that she had been dreaming of.
There were so many amazing things in Pride: smiles, laughters, and understandings.
“So good.” She was still beaming.
----------------
“Once this war’s over, you have to tell me what you’ve trained.”
Maysa was a little bitter. Wisana, who was carried by the two girls, looked at his girlfriend and blinked.
“You look irritated, May. Are you mad at me?”
Wisana laughed. Maysa chose to turn away.
“Of course, you’ve improved that far. You’re further away from me even more now.”
She shook her head. Wisana hugged her head with one arm.
“What are you saying, beautiful? Didn’t I win because of you? I heard your cheering voice. The more you shout, the stronger I am.”
“...You moron.”
While the girl was flushing very badly, Wisana chuckled and smiled at Sarquros. Everyone started to part ways. It took five people to carry him out of the field. As for Lavi, a big guy carried him up on his shoulder very easily.
This was the most amazing thing Wisana had ever seen. They were enemies and were from different troops, once the fight was over, everyone parted ways. They did not think about getting revenge or anything.
It would totally be another day to remember.
“Then, we should gather everyone here. We still have...”
CRASH!!!
32,696,220
Everything went silent again.
It was so fast that no one even realized what had happened.
Wisana went stiff. The girls did, too.
There was a hole in Wisana’s right chest caused by a powerful attack. Crimson blood splattered out of it like a fountain. His amber eyes were opened widely as he did not even know how that happened. He slowly reached the wound. Once he saw the blood, he dropped to his knees.
“Na..?” Maysa was in awe.
“Love!”
Sarquros quickly caught him.
“Vincent!!” Marcus and Lavi shouted at the same time.
“Wisana!!!!” Maysa screamed at the top of her lungs when she realized what was going on.
