Chapter 625: Back to The Battlefield Part III

Chapter 625: Back to The Battlefield Part III

“When May and I are fighting Aaron and Emilia, the rest of them will scatter around. Another two who will definitely be paired up are Allen and Nero.”

Sander dragged Allen and Nero’s names next to each other. Two images of them popped up on the board. One of them took out a sword and another one was casting a thunder magic. The girls were swooning over them because they looked so cute.

“They’ve been together for a long time, so their collaboration is the scariest one. Allen was an expert with his sword. His abilities are balanced and he’s the reckless type. And Nero is a genius magician who’s an expert in choosing the right magic at the right time. He’s very calm and analytical in the war. The combination is strong.”

Sander dragged another two names closer to them. The images of a boy and a girl jumped in front of Allen and Nero.

“Me and Shin?”

Waree was surprised. She blinked while looking at her cartoon self casting spells at Allen and Nero. Shin was fighting with Allen.

“I’ll bet on Nam and Shin. You guys are very balanced. You’re not afraid of a one-on-one fight. Your ability can separate Allen and Nero. The faster, the better.”

Then, Sander separated their names and paired them up.

“Once you’ve done that, Shin takes down Nero and Nam, Allen.”

Hearing that, they looked at each other before nodding at Sander.

“It may be tough for you, but if they’re separated, they’re not as good. Nero is fast in casting powerful spells, but his defense’s been very weak. You can tear him apart with your bare hands, Shin. Even though Allen is aggressive and powerful, he lacks wisdom and is too reckless. He’s the most suitable for someone who’s good at defensive and counterattacks like you, Nam.”

“Yes.” Both of them smiled at him.

Sander nodded with satisfaction. He was confident that Allen and Nero were nothing to these two. The only thing he was worried about was Nero’s mischievous tricks. He was full of poisons, but he was sure that Shin would be able to take him down.

“The next problem is this girl.”

Baron said wearily. She dragged ‘Miguel’ out for Wisana to see. He had never seen this name before. Looking at the cartoon image, he was very sure that he did not know her.

“Is she good?” He asked.

“The most annoying one.” Baron sighed. A mini tanned girl jumped out on the blackboard. “Miguel is very good at being a nuisance. Her ability is controlling magic. You’ve seen it, right? When your friend was kept hostage that time.”

Wisana went quiet while he recalled his memory. The scene when Nuchjaree was controlled and attacked his shoulder. Wisana snapped his fingers!

“The controlling magic back then!” Wisana shouted. “This girl was behind it.”

“Yes. One of her abilities is to control unconscious players. She’s also an expert in curses. She’s one of the dangerous ones out there.”

“And what’s wrong with that?” Sarquros asked.

“The thing is, she’s the most cowardly one I know.” Baron sighed wearily. “She doesn’t really come out in the front line and control someone to fight in her stead. She can control fifty people at a time. She could make a small army with that. We have to search for her before she ruins our plan.”

Baron dragged other names next to Miguel’s.

Three mini figures jumped out and confronted Miguel: Tunwa, Kongkiat, and Angela. They dashed at Miguel immediately.

“In this case, Angie and Kongkiat, who can take down an enemy in a single blow, will search for the real Miguel. Tunwa will be the one who keeps her busy and stall time.”

“Will we be able to find her?” Wisana asked.

“Don’t worry. I’ll search for her. She can’t escape me.”

Wisana nodded. Baron glanced at the board again. There were not many names left to pair up. She dragged Lucius and Scarlet’s names to the middle of the board.

The cartoon images jumped out. One of them was a red-haired man with a blazing flame on his back and another one was a blonde-haired girl in a black gothic-lolita dress.

“Scarlet and Lucius, they will definitely be the big boss and won’t go out in the field.” She turned to Wisana. “You three and I will part the sea of enemies and get to them, which won’t be easy since Lucius will surely prepare something for us. I suggest we use the war of nerves.”

“The war of nerves?”

“Yes.”

She dragged her name next to the two bosses and the mini masked Baron with silver hair popped out.

“If I appear in front of them, I strongly believe that Scarlet would be out to get me one-on-one.”

Mini Scarlet dashed at Baron. At that moment, Baron smirked, both the mini her and the real her. She, then, dragged Wisana’s name behind Scarlet and stopped behind Lucius.

“And when Lucius was alone.” She glanced back at the boy in front of her. “This is the time for you three to attack Lucius.”

Mini Wisana and two dragons jumped out before they dashed at Lucius, who seemed to be confused.

“And I’ll take down Scarlet in the blink of an eye.”

Mini Baron took out her sword and slashed at Scarlet. She dropped to the ground immediately.

“After that, I’ll help you with Lucius. If anything goes wrong, anyone who’s already done with their things will be able to catch up to us and help. This is our plan.”

She slammed her hand on the blackboard. The mini version of everyone ran up to Lucius and finished him. Wisana laughed at the infographics.

“It sounds hard, but not that complicated.” Wisana beamed. “We just have to pair up with the target, finish our job, and later join the last showdown. This is a piece of cake.”

Hearing that, Baron sighed softly.

“If it’s that easy, I wouldn’t have to train you like this, boy.” Wisana raised his eyebrow. “Even with me, you, and the girls here, I don’t even know if we’ll be able to take him down.”

“That’s exaggerating.” The young man pouted. “Is there a monster worse than you in this world, huh? No matter how powerful he is, if we’re together, we’ll definitely get him!”

He raised his fists up. Mona Lisa did the same. Sarquros nodded in agreement.

“That’s a good encouragement.” Baron sighed. “It’d be good if it’s as easy as you say. Believe me, Lucius is an invincible monster far from your imagination.”

She swung her arm and erased everything on the board before snapping her fingers to make the blackboard disappear.

“To make it short, the first to get to Lucius is you.”

Baron said and waved her hand as a sign for the kids to get up. The kids, who had been sitting for quite some time, stretched. Wisana turned the other way to yawn.

“To be honest, I think you’re not good enough to be Lucius’s opponent, be it your experience or level.”

“You didn’t have to repeat it so often.” The man snapped. “It’s you that drains me before the real fight. Let me tell you this. I’ve been fighting enemies stronger than me my whole life. It’s not like I haven’t fought an invincible before. I was kicked in the gut every day when I was younger by one.”
