The provoking voice sounded from behind Anubis. The God of Death’s eyes widened and quickly turned back. Wisana was there with his hands covered with a red glow!

It turned around and looked up. Instead of Wisana, it was another man who was jumping down on him. He was even holding his Longinus. It was such an effective mid-air weapon handing!

The second hit was a straight horizontal line across the previous one and made a big cross on Anubis’s body. There was no blood (because God had no blood). However, the growl was now gone. Its red eyes rolled up.

This was the first time it was damaged this much.

The damage just exceeded a million, making it fall on its back. The attacks from the annoying man got it pretty good.

Once it left the opening for only a split second, another man landed such powerful hits on it. That was such a perfect collaboration!!

Anubis did not hesitate to plunge the staff on the ground and called the wind and the powerful wave out and blew Shin off the ground!

Shin said. He did not fall, but the immense pressure made him halt.

“Shin?!” Wisana called him from the other side.

“I’m fine. It was just a threat.” Shin communicated through the communication channel. “But I don’t know what’s next. Be careful.”

They cautiously looked at Anubis since it was very still with its hands on its staff as if it was trying to concentrate on something.

That was when the tip of his staff glowed.

Shin was startled. The Impulse told Wisana immediately that it was dangerous!

They shouted... but it was too late.

Pillar of Death

The giant staff glowed blue and formed a gigantic light pillar. The temperature seemed to have dropped even more. The stream slowly froze. The boys had to cover their faces to guard them against the freezing breeze!

“..S... So cold!” Wisana screeched.

“What’s that pillar?”

Shin narrowed his eyes.

Suddenly, a strange ray of light dashed out of the pillar. Wisana barely dodged it. It was like the light from a flashlight, but the speed was that of a shot bullet.

Because the stone ground where the light hit was pierced through!

“...This is bad. I think I know what it is.”

Wisana swallowed his sticky saliva. Shin smiled awkwardly.

“Anubis, you son of a bitch!”

The light bullet dashed out of the pillar again. It was not only one but hundreds and thousands of it. The boys’ eyes widened in surprise!

“Why are you frozen in place? Run, Shin!”

Wisana yanked his friend’s shirt sleeve with all his might and dodged the bullets with his instinct. The light bullets hit the ground only an inch next to their feet.

Someone would totally pay a fortune just to be able to take a photo of their faces right now and keep it for blackmail.

“D... Don’t yank. I can run myself... Wahhh!” Shin’s face was wry.

It was like a light at the end of the tunnel when Wisana saw a big pillar in front of him. He decided to drag his friend and himself behind it!

Shin said. Wisana agreed.

“You freaking boss!” He swore. “What should we do now? This pillar wouldn’t hold for long. A direct counterattack is out of the question since we’ll be a honeycomb before we reach it!”

Shin did not know what to say. If a tank like Tunwa or a long-range attacker like Maysa were here, everything would be a lot easier.

With them both being close-range attackers... These complicated things!

“Or should we wait until it stops shooting?” Shin suggested.

“It won’t.” Wisana scolded. “Look at how it shoots like a machine gun. It won’t stop until we die.”

“Then, do you have a better idea?”

“I think we should... Wait a minute...”

Wisana went quiet because he heard something. It sounded like when the magic was activated. He leaned out and saw that Anubis was pointing at them. Its finger glowed bright red.

He looked down at his feet. The red magic characters had started to form. And this was an attack magic!

The boys looked at each other.

“Shit!”

They shouted before they parted ways to the side. At that moment, the magic characters were complete and activated!

Pillar of Inferno!

A huge scorching explosion occurred and left devastating debris. Wisana lay down on the ground with his hands on his head.

His amber eyes glanced at the flames in front of him and swallowed his saliva.

“Am I in a war movie or something?”

Suddenly, a blue light caught his sight. He just realized that he just moved out of the bunker, even though the machine gun was still active.

And he was on the floor. It was too late for him to get up and dodge now.

“Ohhh no, no! What is this!?”

A loud and ringing noise sounded while he stooped down and accepted his fate. Both of his hands intertwined at the back of his neck. But why... did he not feel anything?

He gritted his teeth and readied himself for the impact, but nothing happened. He slowly opened his eyes and glanced to the side. He could only open his mouth widely at what he saw.

“Shin?!”

“You’re such a dead weight, Vincent!”

Shin scolded him. In front of him was a huge brown wall that was protecting them from the light bullets.

“What’s that wall? Did you call it? Crusaders have this kind of skill, too?”

“Not like that,” Shin spoke in a low voice. “I used the Mud Bunker, the item that I got from the last floor.”

“Mud Bunker?”
