Chapter 567: VS “Dysandwal” Part III
Chapter 567: VS “Dysandwal” Part III
Spirit Carnival!
Wisana also called 3 red six-pointed star spells up at his side. Hundreds of flame spirits rushed out of them. They aimed for all the scales that targeted the ship.
Blaze of Meteor!
Angie cast the same spell to help decrease the scale numbers as much as possible. The people on the roof of the ship also helped shoot them down (one was Mona Lisa’s Heavy Voice). So many of them were taken down.
“The numbers of the scales are now at only fifty percent,” Aerin reported.
Maysa frowned while thinking.
Strange... Why did that whale intentionally spit these bombs out and dive back into the sand? Was it afraid of the collateral damage...?
That was not right!
It was waiting to strike only once!!
“Captain, the weapons are on the move!!” Aerin said.
“Hold on, everyone,” Maysa shouted. “Lift the ship up at forty-five degrees. Prepare to use the main firearm. Every Nightingale cannon aims at the same target.”
“..H-Huh?” Mek screamed. “..L-Lifting at forty-five degrees!”
“P-Prepare the main firearm and the Nightingale cannons!” Warunya repeated the order.
----------------
Ding!
A warning signal sounded from Manoch’s screen. He was still occupied with the repairs in the engine room. However, the notification caught his attention.
“May, you crazy woman. You’re using the main gun? You’re risking the overheat!”
----------------
Blaze of Meteor!
Again, Angie cast the same spell to get rid of the enemies. However, it seemed like it was more difficult to stop now since they were throwing themselves towards the ship. No matter how hard Wisana and Sarquros tried to shoot them.
“No use. Twenty percent of the weapon passed through our defense. They’ll hit us in forty meters!”
“Damn it”
Waree swore and started to cast the spell again.
Mirror Wa...
“Don’t use Mirror Wall or you’ll die this time for sure!”
Stella grabbed Waree’s arm at the last minute. Waree gritted her teeth before changing the spell.
Holy Shield
A golden wall was created around the ship in the blink of an eye, almost at the same time that the scales hit and broke to pieces. However, there were so many of them and Waree’s light wall started to crack.
“Damn it. Be strong!” Waree gritted her teeth and tried her best to put more power into her magic.
“No use. We can’t hold it.” Shin, who was standing close to the scales, muttered.
It was true. In the end, Waree’s shield was smashed.
“Everyone, prepare for the crash!!”
BOOM!!!
Tunwa shouted his warning. At the same time, more than ten scales hit the ship. Some of them exploded, while some used the sharp edge to plunge into the ship.
The players on the roof barely avoided getting crushed to death since each scale was about two meters tall. They were huge!
“So many parts of the ship are damaged. The damage point count was 263,885!” Aerin told Maysa “The driving force decreased to only fifty percent, captain.”
She had not finished her report yet when the rumble started again along with something that made every eye open widely. Now, what Maysa was scared of the most was happening in front of her...
The unimaginably gigantic monster sprung out of the sand like a dolphin. Its huge body floated above the ship as if it had been waiting for the ship to weaken. The scales were only decoys. Now it wanted to land the final blow on Alexander.
(The final attack.)
Giant Splash!
The monster flew in front of the sun. A pair of light grey eyes stared at it while it was slowly dropping itself onto the ship. She could not avoid this one.
At that moment, Maysa clenched her fists very tightly. Her light grey eyes turned to look at Warunya, who was determined to press the fire button at any time. This was enough. Even though we were not as skilled, making the impossible possible was every member’s duty here!!
“Fire every gun we have!!” Maysa shouted.
The main cannons at the side and 8 Nightingale cannons shot at the same time. The golden ray of light from the main cannon dashed at Dysandwal, while the bullets from the Nightingales hit its torso so hard that the explosion caused the desert whale to burst like a crushed watermelon!
BOOM!!
289,853!
The big one dropped onto the sand below. Alexander survived, even though it lost its footing quite a lot when the shots were made. Mek did so well with balancing the ship.
This life-or-death situation got everyone scared and relieved at the same time. Maysa smiled satisfyingly.
“So cool. She calculates this much in advance.”
Aerin muttered as if she did not want to believe it. She did not understand why Maysa would want the ship’s head to be lifted up. It was because she had already predicted that the enemy would jump on us. That was why she ordered the shoot while the monster was in mid-air.
Dysandwal’s outer shell was smashed, and the disgusting red flesh inside could be seen. Even worse, there was also some green gooey stuff that looked so much like phlegm. Everyone pulled a wry face.
“The main cannons fire at the wound! This is our chance!”
Maysa shouted with her firm voice. Warunya checked the ship’s status and frowned.
“We can’t, captain. The shots we made just now malfunctioned the link between the weapons and the energy. And... the driving force is now at thirty five percent. If it gets below twenty-five, we’re going to crash!”
The captain made a dissatisfying noise. Looking at the wounded monster on the ground even made her mad.
Damn it. This was a one-in-a-thousand chance!
If we only had enough weapons... Agh!
“Fall back. I’m going to do it myself!”
Wisana said through the communication channel. Everyone halted before Aerin put him on the main screen. The man with flaming wings was dashing towards Dysandwal like a shooting star!
Blaze Tower!
BOOM!!
84,782!
A big ball of flames gushed up to the sky after Wisana attacked the monster at its wound. It let out a sharp cry. The man flew up to the sky again. He flicked both of his hands and changed the glass balls around him into weapons with “Element”.
“Unlock the fifty-second contract, the eighth flame weapon.”
9th Fox
In the blink of an eye, the flames spun around and created a white fan with a yellow ribbon. The flames were blazing at the end of it.
Wisana gathered all of his power in a millisecond and swung the fan along with the magic that had been hidden.
Continuous attacks. The second combo.
Growling Fox!
Then, the flames dashed out of the fan. There were nine fireballs and each of them was as big as Wisana himself. They rushed towards Dysandwal, looking like running foxes. They even sounded like one.
BOOM!!
186,895!!
The number that showed the damage points finally reached a hundred thousand. Wisana was still at it. He quickly stroked his lips and cast the spell.
Continuous attacks. The third combo.
Open the mightiest spirit gate.
Gate of Soul
The last move belonged to Magic Semiologists. The red six-pointed star in a circle was drawn onto Wisana’s back before it faded into an enormous gate. It was a traditional wooden one with a round metal handle.
“Devour and burn...” Wisana muttered.
Spirit Carnival
The gate, then, slowly opened. Thousands of spirits frantically rushed out of it like a bee swarm. They all aimed at Dysandwal!
BOOM!!
458,632!!
The damage got higher and higher until it almost got to five hundred thousand. Unfortunately, this was the combination of the very first continuous attack. He could only do this much since the more powerful the spell was, the less combo he could do!
“Samie!!”
