Chapter 557: A Heaven Slashing Fist Part III

Chapter 557: A Heaven Slashing Fist Part III

“Damn it!”

The boy screeched and gathered every bit of his strength to flick himself out of there just in time. Marcus’s fist went deep into the soil so easily as if it were tofu.

Marcus did not follow him right away, so Kongkiat had some time to think. The boy only got hit twice and he was already panting so much.

“Woah, giving up already?” Marcus smiled at him. “Then, let me tell you something good. Calculation and analysis aren’t always good. Before you decide to dodge, you should wait until I attack first, not like what you just did. And when you were hit with my uppercut, if you decided to dodge that or counterattack, you wouldn’t have been cast like that. That was a wrong move. Your reflex was fast enough to guard, but if it was your Vincent, he would have definitely run or countered it without getting hurt.”

Listening to the lecture, the boy frowned tightly. How could he have done that? It was hard enough to guard!

“That’s why I told you that you still lack instinct and an intent to kill. If you’re still an amateur, don’t ever challenge someone better than you again!”

Marcus rushed towards Kongkiat right after that. The wounded boy wanted more time to heal, but Marcus did not allow that. His fist was swung at the boy in a straight line.

But this time, Kongkiat decided to dodge as instructed!

“You’ve improved!”

Marcus praised him. At the same time, Kongkiat countered the fist with his. The older man only had to tilt his head to evade.

“It’s a shame that you still lack the intent to kill.”

15,885!

Kongkiat got elbowed in his neck and his eyes rolled upward. When he threw the punch, his chance to guard became slim. That was something that Sander tried to warn him about so many times.

The boy got dizzy from the hit, but Marcus did not let his chance slip away. He cast Kongkiat straight up in the air and followed him up there. He raised his arm like a volleyball player and hit the boy’s body with all his might.

Big Bang

BOOM!!

105,884!

Kongkiat’s body hit the ground so hard that it created a big hole. Marcus landed softly on the ground on his two feet and glanced at the boy in the hole. He sighed softly, thinking about how disappointing it was that this boy was only a good-for-nothing.

The Magic Charge was gone.

This was the end.

“Tsk. That’s it?” He scoffed. “As promised, I’ll go get Vincent.”

He walked away as if he did not care about the boy at all. However, an explosion was heard once again from behind.

His sharp eyes glanced back and saw that Kongkiat had already stood up with his second Magic Charge. His eyes were blazing up again. He was drinking a power-up potion in a black bottle.

“It’s not over yet, Marcus.”

Kongkiat said while swaying from all the wounded on his body, even though his HP gauge indicated that his life point was now full again.

“That’s enough, little chick. No matter what you do, the result will still be the same.” Marcus said wearily. “Even with that potion, it’s useless. With the Magic Charge, you’re only able to fill up your HP gauge, but you can’t heal your wounds. Using the Magic Charge too many times will cost you your health. I think that should be enough.”

He let out a short sigh. The boy smiled back at him.

“But as long as I’m not dead or I don’t give up, you’re not yet a winner. That means you have no right to meet my leader just yet.”

Hearing that, Marcus halted with a wicked smile.

“Do you know why you’re still alive?” He said. “It wasn’t only because the Magic Charge was protecting you, but I also held back for you. I must admit that I like your guts, but you better train more before you come back for me.”

“If you retreat peacefully, I’d accept that offer.”

Kongkiat smiled back, even though his condition was so bad that he could barely stand up. The older man let out a soft sigh before he threw himself at the boy.

“Then, it can’t be helped.”

13,785!

Marcus hit Kongkiat’s torso with all his might, making the boy choke and drop to the ground.

“I’m not holding back for the second time, little chick!”

Then, he yanked the boy’s shirt collar up. Kongkiat was pulled up above the ground. The man threw him up and tossed him back down!

Big Bang!

BOOM!!

156,893!

Once again, the small figure lay still on the ground with his eyes rolled up. Getting the same attack over and over again even hurt his body more. And Marcus’s attack was more powerful than before just like he said. The boy’s consciousness was still up. He ordered himself to get away from there just in time.

The boy stood on the opposite side. He coughed so hard that his body swayed. Then, he drank the same potion as before to fill his gauge again.

“Hey, little chick, don’t tell me that you’re thinking about letting me hit you until I give up?”

Kongkiat beamed at him and wiped the blood that had dropped to his lips.

“That’s a good idea. If you can’t take me down in one blow, I won’t give up.”

The older man halted. The veins popped up on his temples again.

“This damn little chick!”

The man threw himself at the boy right away while gathering all the power in his left hand!

“Kong!!”

Angie screamed at the top of her lungs. The small figure sprang up from her seat and covered her mouth, scared. The state that Kongkiat was in right now looked even worse through the screen.

He was like a sandbag for Marcus now.

Marcus’s attack kept gaining more and more power. The scariest thing was the result of the Magic Charge that Kongkiat had been using for quite some time now. It was dangerous like what Marcus had said.

BAM!!

The boy was attacked again and dropped to the ground. His cough was so dry since he had been receiving so many hits on his torso. His rips might have been broken, even.

“Marcus, he’s not holding back,” Tunwa muttered.

“If this continues, Kong will definitely die.”

Stella told Maysa. It looked like Maysa was also stressed out about it. She clenched both of her fists. She wanted to help him, but she also wanted to put her trust in the boy a little further.

“I’m not watching it anymore. I’m going to help him!”

Eventually, Angie was the first one who had had enough. She got out of her seat completely.

“Angie,” Waree called out to her.

“What are you trying to do? Go back to your position.” Maysa shouted at her.

“I can’t just sit here and watch him being beaten like this anymore. If you won’t do anything, I will.”

The girl did not care about anything. She ran past Maysa’s seat. The captain was about to catch her when Wisana grabbed her wrist. Even though he was locked by magic, his arms were still free.

“What are you doing? Let me go!”
