Chapter 555: A Heaven Slashing Fist Part I
Chapter 555: A Heaven Slashing Fist Part I
The rain got heavier. The two figures had been standing there, staring at each other for a while now. The sky thundered from time to time.
The man with braids sighed. His sharp eyes scrutinized the boy in front of him and he smiled.
“What did you say just now?” He drawled. “You’ll fight me? I think you don’t understand.”
Marcus’s dark brown eyes glowed like those of a wild beast. They were scary.
Kongkiat halted. He got goosebumps like never before.
“I don’t like killing little chicks. I won’t sue you for destroying my bike. Leave before I change my mind.”
Marcus warned him. Kongkiat just knew that it was not a mere threat.
He tried to put up a straight face.
“I’m sorry, Mr. Marcus, but I don’t think I can do that.” Kongkiat sighed. “As long as you’re still here, I won’t go anywhere.”
Marcus scoffed. He raised his hand and flicked his fingers. The moment the air was triggered, a small energy surge ran past Kongkiat’s face and dropped onto the ground, creating a long mark.
“I’ll say this again. I can crush you with only my finger, tiny ant.” He smiled wickedly. “A final call for you, little chick. Get your face out of here!”
The boy swallowed his saliva. He had prepared to face so much pressure, but he did not realize how scary this man could be.
Kongkiat took a deep breath.
“Even though I know I don’t have even one percent chance to win, but...”
Kongkiat swung his hand and called a gigantic sword-like force out. It flew past Marcus’s face and dropped to the ground, leaving a long trace.
“Just a chance to fight the four gods, I can brag around all my life.”
He smiled. Marcus thought that this boy was really something, as expected of Sander’s apprentice. He chuckled softly and shook his head.
“You’re committing suicide, little chick,” Marcus said. “You think you can do anything?”
“I’m sorry, but I don’t. ‘Stepping backward’ isn’t in my dictionary. I may get beaten to a pulp, but only a scratch on you would make me very happy.”
Marcus rolled his eyes. He did not want to waste his time, but he knew that this boy would not go away. He seemed to admire Vincent so much. Maybe Vincent would come out if the boy was in trouble.
“Fine.”
Marcus smiled maliciously. Kongkiat sighed.
He was trapped.
“I’ll fight you as a warm-up, little chick.” He snapped his knuckles. “I like your gut, so I’ll give you an advantage. If you could lower my HP to a hundred thousand or below, you won.”
“An advantage?” Kongkiat raised his eyebrows.
“Yeah. I don’t really have to do much with a little chick like you.” He raised his left hand. “I’ll use only my left hand. This is more than enough for you. You’re fine with that?”
Kongkiat frowned and got serious. He nodded at the man. Even though the offer sounded so annoying, it was all true.
“But if I won,” Marcus said loudly with a smile. “You have to drag Vincent out to me or I’ll destroy everything.”
The boy was startled a little. He took a deep breath.
“I promise,” Kongkiat said. “If I win, you will go back to where you’re from. Promise?”
“Sure.”
Marcus was firm with his words as if he was so confident that this little chick would not be able to win.
“I’ll give you one more thing.”
The old man said before drawing a circle big enough for one person to stand in the middle on the ground with his foot. He walked into the circle and smiled at the boy.
“I won’t move out of this circle.”
“Okay.”
Kongkiat nodded. It might seem like he had so many advantages, but he still felt like it would not increase his chance of winning at all.
----------------
“Kong.”
A low voice called out the boy’s name. He was tightly chained down with Waree’s six-pointed star magic after so much struggling. His amber eyes looked outside the window with a worried face.
“Who let him out?” Shin asked.
“Sorry. I told him to make sure that no one goes out. It turns out it was him who got so angry himself.” Tunwa said with a worried look on his face.
“Please stop him, captain!”
Angie looked at Maysa. She barely showed this much anxiety to anyone. However, Maysa did not seem to care. She stared at the image of Kongkiat on her screen.
This might be the best option.
“Let him go.” Everyone was surprised by her answer.
“Are you sure? He’s not even at level 100 yet. And with Marcus, it’s totally impossible.” Warunya said.
“He might die.”
Aerin added. Hearing that, Angie was even more worried.
“Captain, please stop him!” Angie shouted.
“This is the best way.” Maysa was firm with her words. “Even though Marcus is a straightforward guy, I want to try my luck. If he’s the same kind of person as Wisana, that is.”
Everyone looked at each other, then at Wisana. He seemed to have calmed down with what was happening right now.
----------------
“What is this, little chick? Are you afraid?”
Marcus looked at the boy, who was still idle. Kongkiat had been in a ready pose, yet he did not seem to initiate the fight. It was obvious that he was a defensive type.
A brain type, huh?
The red-haired man beamed.
“Fine.” He raised his left hand up. “I’ll start it for you.”
Mind Explosion (Finger flicking version) Psycho Impact
BOOM!!
A table tennis-sized energy ball rushed towards the boy. It was not too fast for him to dodge. Kongkiat started to jump around, while the energy balls constantly flew out of Marcus’s hand.
The explosion was rhythmic. The young man still ran around the area. The attacker stared at him like a lion looking at his prey. In the blink of an eye, Kongkiat stepped back to get himself out of the attack range and called a flaming ball out on his hand. He immediately threw it at Marcus.
Fireball!
“Magic?”
Marcus raised his eyebrows a little before letting out a scoff. He stopped what he was doing and used his left hand to brush the fireball off so easily like a fly.
BOOM!!
The fireball turned the other way and exploded.
Marcus let out a sigh.
“You have great strength, but it’s not enough to take me down.”
Kongkiat gritted his teeth so tightly. He called more fireballs out and threw them at Marcus non-stop. He hoped that the quantity of it would eventually get him since he could only use his left hand.
The man only shook his head wearily.
“Annoying!!”
BOOM!!
Only his shout and the fireballs exploded mid-air without touching anything. The hot air and harsh wind blew past the boy and he had to cover his face with his hands.
“If you think this can leave a scratch on me, you’re dead wrong. That half-hearted magic of yours can’t do shit. If you’re the real magic warrior, come fight me at close range or leave. It’s a waste of time.”
