Chapter 436: Snow Queen Part III
Chapter 436: Snow Queen Part III
“...You’ll win this, Snow Queen.”
After Shin’s words, everyone turned to look at the white-haired woman altogether as if they were asking her to roll the dice in her hand already. And of course, those indigo-blue eyes were not focused on the dice anymore. Instead, they were looking at the slender girl in the fluffy dress. Their eyes locked like they were reading the other’s mind.
Finally, she curled up a smile.
At the same time, she rolled the dice out softly. The six-sided clear acrylic cubes were chasing around the table slowly, before they all stopped with 6 spots turned up, making the crowd around the table cheer out resoundingly loud!
And for the table host staff...
He cupped his face as a terrible headache rushed up because this round had made the casino lose its money for about 30 million at once!!
Everyone was jumping excitedly, except for that woman. She was not showing happy emotion at all, even though there were these girls pulling her in for hugs and kisses. Those indigo-blue eyes were just staring at Shin all the time.
While their smiles for each other remained as wide as they had been from the start.
“That was the best victory kiss I’ve ever seen, Shin.” The white-haired woman greeted in a delighted voice.
“And you’re still the luckiest one as usual, Snow Queen.”
Shin replied smilingly before he walked closer to the woman. They both were still looking at each other, smiling. Meanwhile, Manoch was carried away by the wave of the crowd, so he joined it and celebrated with them, too. Some of the girls around pulled him hugs as well, so the glasses man just went with the flow without noticing that Shin was staring at the woman.
“You’ve been gone for a year and suddenly showed up like this, can it be that you bring me some trouble again?”
The woman with white hair asked in a hoarse voice, making Shin chuckle slightly.
“You know me, Snow Queen.”
“Yeah, I do. That’s why I can sense that there’s something messed up going on.”
Hearing that, Shin shook his head slightly, as he reached his hand out to shake with hers harshly like how two men normally did to greet each other. But in fact, these two looked like girls in other people’s eyes right now.
“I really wish we would never meet again, Shin.”
“Yeah, right, I wish that, too.” Shin moved the corner of his lips up into a smile.

“Uh-ha, so you travelled a long way here in the middle of the war like this just to ask me to repair the Four Seasons for you?”
Finally, the situation was back to normal again. The lady named ‘Snow’ was asked to stop playing in the casino for today, because she had taken more than 25 million coins from its money already. And this did not include about 15 million that the casino lost to those who bet that she would crash the table down. Totally, that spoke clearly that this one woman almost scarily ripped all of today’s profit out of the casino’s pocket!
Since she was begged like that, Snow did not want to hurt the casino’s feelings anymore. Also, she had to meet with an old friend like Shin, whom she had not heard from for almost a year. so, she dragged Shin to a counter bar on another corner. She had a Tobacco pipe between her lips. In front of them on the counter, a shot glass was placed there.
“Goddamn, Shin. There must be a problem for me to deal with every time you come to me.”
She spoke in a cocky manner like a guy, making Manoch who was sitting behind Shin glance at her with a weird look.
“I’ll pay for you, don’t worry,” Shin said calmly.
“Money isn’t a big deal, buddy,” Snow replied with a smile. Then she pushed her hair back handsomely. “You know I can have that kind of thing piling up to my feet with just a quick finger snap, but what I want to know is, what the hell did you do to get my weapon all wrecked and messed up like this?”
Snow said in a steady voice. Her slender hands were bringing the rings to look at them again before she could come to the conclusion that the items were 100% ‘doomed’.
“Can you fix it though?” Shin asked.
“I can try, so we can find out about that. But I need many tools to check where they’re broken, and what materials I need in repair.” She said, bringing the rings closer that they almost touched her eyeballs. “What happened to them?”
“It was Sven, the Cataral’s leader.”
Hearing that, Snow pouted her mouth a little, shrugging both her shoulders.
“Sorry, man. Sounds familiar but can’t really place it. Sven who?”
“He’s one of the four gods,” Shin replied, annoyed.
“Oh, the four gods. That’s why it sounds familiar. I see why you got your ass beaten up this hard now. I see, I see. Then this baby boy probably needs a lot of upgrades, or you will be beaten like that again.”
Hearing Snow’s words, Shin nodded in agreement. At first, he was going to ask if she could upgrade it instead of just repairing it, too. But when she said that, Shin just nodded, feeling relieved.
That was his weapon maker...
“Anyway, why do you look like this, Shin?” Snow asked, looking at Shin head to toe. “You were manly handsome last year, but why are you a beautiful girl with such a sweet voice now? Do something awaken in you or something, Shinny?”
Shin huffed out a short breath.
“Can you not ask something so misleading? I’m just under a disguise.”
“Aw, then you totally nailed it, man. So pretty.”
After speaking, Snow boldly tilted Shin’s chin up to look left and right, while she was touching his hair out of fun, too.
“Er, excuse me...?”
But their conversation did not go further because Manoch suddenly raised his hand like he had something to say. Seeing that, Snow glanced at the glasses guy right away.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Miss Snow, are you the same person as Snow Queen, the nomadic crafter who’s made more than 30 legendary items, the weapon maker who only makes a couple of items in a year, but every one of them is rank S only, also the only crafter who has the most weapon patents that it has to be recorded in the Pride’s history?”
Listening to that, Shin and Snow looked at each other’s face as they blinked.
After that, the stout girl like Snow burst out a loud laugh right away.
“That’s more than I even know about myself, he’s your friend?” She turned to ask Shin.
“Yeah, friend in my real life and friend from the same guild,” Shin answered briefly.
Snow curled up a smile right away. She stared at Manoch, getting interested in the one whom Shin accepted as a friend so surely. Most of the time, this quiet man barely knew how to socialize. So, unless his friend was a very friendly person, there was no way they could befriend this man.
