Chapter 426: Damaged Weapon Part VI

Chapter 426: Damaged Weapon Part VI

“Don’t worry,” Shin replied briefly. “Even without Longinus, those thieves are still not a match for me anyway. I’ll go there as fast as I can and be back within 5 days, I promise.”

“Still too risky.”

Wisana cut him off, before glancing at Waree who raised her eyebrows back at him, not catching what exactly her brother was trying to imply.

“You should take someone with you. At least that will be safer than going alone.” Wisana said, then grinned. “You go with him, Nam.”

“What?!!”

Waree yelled while Shin was narrowing his eyes at this cheeky man who was smiling delightedly. Not only that, Maysa started to catch up with what her boyfriend was up to now, too.

“Why it has to be me, Na? ...and why with this person.” The last sentence was toned down so that it was barely heard. Anyhow, Wisana still kept that smile on his face.

“Simple answer, it’s because you’re a defense player with the best abilities balanced in our guild with all healing and support, and you’re a good fighter with the highest level in our guild. See? There’s no flaw for this guarding Shin mission at all.”

“If you want someone who’s expert in defense skills, you can just ask Miss Stella to go.”

Waree was still insisting on rejecting as Shin turned to look at this pretty girl who was instantly frowning now. And when their eyes caught, Waree purposely turned her face away, making him let out another tired sigh.

“No, because Miss Stella is chief of the medical unit. She needs to be around here healing guild members in case something goes wrong. Also, she’s not a fighter. But you, you’re the most suitable one to call if there’s a need to punch someone.”

“I’m not a freaking thug, Na!!”

“Of course not. You’re way better than them.”

Hearing the irritating reply, Waree groaned in her throat. She pressed her lips tightly together, without arguing anymore. To be honest, she just could not find any words to take back right now.

“Stop playing hard to get now, sassy. What can possibly hurt from just travelling with Shin? It’s just Lutier. You can take it as a short trip to relax. That’s the most famous casino city, you know.”

“Then why don’t you go with him yourself?” Waree retorted in a high-pitched voice.

“Because he’s Vincent. There’ll be big trouble if someone sees him out there. Also, the leader has to take charge here with me, too. So, you’re the most suitable one for this, Nam.”

Maysa said directly to the point. And listening to that, Waree got fewer points to argue with this even more. So, she started clicking her tongue in displeasure right now.

“It’s okay, Vincent.”

But then Shin spoke up in a clear voice.

“I can go alone. She doesn’t want to go, and you don’t have to force her to. Plus, it’s not like her reputation’s any less than yours. If someone sees her, it’ll just be as troublesome. So, it’s better if I do this by myself.”

Shin said wearily. His words were reasonable, but his tone sounded slightly fed up with this as well. Wisana noticed the offended feeling in Shin’s voice, too. So, he huffed out a long sigh.

“And you don’t have any reputation at all? There will not be a problem if anyone sees you?” He retorted.

“I’ll disguise myself. Don’t worry.”

Hearing that, Wisana and Waree looked at each other without any words spoken. Waree, who had endured listening to this for a moment, rolled her eyes. And finally, she made another tongue-clicking sound, before letting out a long sigh.

“Okay, I’ll go!!”

And then she shouted aloud, making Shin pause and turn to her. Meanwhile, Wisana and Maysa curled up a knowing smile at the same time.

“I’m going with you. But just so you know, I’m doing it because it’s Na’s order. Or else, I’d never agree to this.”

Her excuse was stated quickly with such an arrogant act. Shin let out a long sigh.

But hearing the confirmation, Maysa smiled out of relief.

“Well, then, that’s good, you two,” Maysa said. “Now, I can be relieved that Nam will go with you. And Shin, make sure that you get back before offline time, okay? We’ll stand by here. If you guys run into any problems, contact us as fast as possible through the guild’s communication channel, all right?”

Shin looked at the captain as he nodded. “Yeah, understood.”

“Hey, hey, can I go, too?”

Suddenly, the little mage who was sitting next to Waree spoke, tugging on her shirt softly. It seemed that not leaving Alexander for days had been boring to her a lot now.

Anyway, the request brought a bright smile back on Waree’s face again. She totally forgot that she could take Angie on the trip with her so that she did not have to go alone with that guy!

“Can Angie go, Na?” Waree asked her brother right away.

Wisana glanced at Maysa like he was asking her for an opinion, which the captain shrugged in response like whatever.

“Fine, but don’t cause any big troubles, alright, kiddo?” Wisana turned to look at Angie.

“Don’t call me kiddo!” The kiddo snapped. “Also, if you want to talk about someone that causes trouble, I don’t think anyone can ever be compared to you on that at all, noob!”

“What?!!”

Eventually. Wisana’s brain did not grow more mature from the previous time at all. When he heard this brat saying something disrespectful, he would feel like his nerves were going to burst up every time. Damn it!

So, right now, the cheeky one was squatting down to pick a fight with this sassy brat. They were staring at each other like there were visible electricity currents flashing against each other!

“Can I go with them, too, then?” Manoch spoke up.

However, Wisana did not care. He was still not going to stop staring at Angie. “Ask May.”

Hearing the shout, the merchant glanced at his best friend who was making a fed-up face at how immature her boyfriend was.

“Why do you want to go, Ae?” Maysa asked.

“Well, I want to buy some spare parts for Alexander. The ones we have are not that good. Also, Lutier’s all about casinos and auction events, so I think there might be some dope stuff there. I want to check it out a bit.”

Hearing that, Maysa nodded in understanding right away.

“Okay, then. But don’t waste too much of the guild’s budget.”

“Yeah, I know that.”

The glasses man said with a grin, feeling happy to be going to the town’s market. Because apart from shopping, there were many items that he wanted to sell as well!

“Can you take Aerin, too?”

Stella was the one who requested, making Maysa glance at the oldest one in the room. Then she looked at the thick girl who was standing next to Warunya.

“Why do you want me to go with them, Chief?” Aerin asked.

“Could you go buy some healing items back, please? We need a lot of ingredients for making curse-dispelling potions, too, because I think we’ll need a lot of it in the next battle.” Stella said.

And Maysa nodded in agreement after hearing her. Stella’s idea was not wrong, because they realized that the Cataral guild, especially Sven, was remarkably expert in using curses.

“Alright, then. Miss Aerin, please follow this party to the town, too.”
