Chapter 419: A.L.I.C.E Part III
Chapter 419: A.L.I.C.E Part III
“The war 20 years ago will probably repeat itself, right? It will be like when the first gen of the four gods appeared.”
Thada froze with the question. He was not smiling or frowning. Those amber eyes were looking up as he huffed a breath out harshly.
“I can’t confirm that, but Alice has predicted that history might repeat itself. And we will prepare the server to prevent that problem totally.”
The reporter fell silent by his words. A moment later, a microphone from a Japanese station pointed closer to him with a question that made Thada stunned instantly.
“And who do you think would cause history to turn back around?”
The GM curled the corners of his lips up into a slight smile as if he was expecting that this question would be asked eventually. He closed his eyes slowly, before speaking clearly.
“Personally, I think it could be Vincent and Lavi. But like I said, I can’t confirm anything, even Alice can’t do this either.”
After those words, Thada started walking through the crowd of reporters out with a brief saying, “Thank you all.” Then the live was cut off, and it was back to the studio again. A couple of anchors were sitting in their seats on the screen, while Wisana was turning to look at Maysa.
“Seems like we’re automatically going viral now. Did you see that there were some foreign publishers coming to interview Thada, too?”
Maysa asked, before scooping another bite of cake into her mouth. Her words were serious, but her gestures did not look so. She looked like she was used to this actually. Maybe she had spent too much time with Wisana, so she started feeling that everything was possible in this world.
“Well, the war events on their servers are too plain. They don’t have the four gods like us.”
Wisana said like he did not care about it so much, before pressing a button to turn the Television off.
“You’re the one to talk, rock star. Don’t you know that you’re the center of attention in the world right now?”
After speaking, Maysa put her fork to Wisana’s mouth, pretending it was the microphone of a gorgeous interviewer who was swallowing a big bite of cake.
“Then, I’d like to know what you, Vincent, the only man in the world who can fly in the sky freely, will do next in this war?”
Wisana laughed amusedly at his girlfriend’s playfulness. He purposely wrapped his arm around her tightly as he tilted Maysa’s chin up, moving closer to her, making her blush.
“First of all, I’ll tell my girlfriend to stop thinking about Pride for a day, because it’s her mother-in-law-to-be’s birthday today. Second of all, I’d like to see my girlfriend in a beautiful evening dress the most.”
“...”
Maysa was speechless because her tiny hands were clutched together gently. The face of the cheeky one was only a few inches away so she could sense a nice coffee scent from him.
“Hey, someone might see us. Respect the others a bit.”
“Why would I have to? This is my house,” he said, smirking cunningly. “So, may I...?”
After speaking, he purposedly leaned closer to his girlfriend right away. Maysa felt his warm breath on her pumped lips gently. Her face turned hot red. Those light grey eyes helplessly shut out of the shyness, or the grudge she was having for letting this cheeky man have what he wanted again.
A-HEM!
It was like a drama scene where there had to be someone interrupting this kind of moment. The coughing sound came up, startling the hearts of these two lovebirds. Especially Maysa, she pushed herself away from Wisana in a way that a spring could never do it like her. Then they turned slowly and awkwardly to see two sassy sisters walking in with smug smiles on their faces, looking the most annoying. And Waree gave the smile to Maysa directly, purposely to make her face get even redder.
“Today is really hot, do you think so, Naat?” Waree said discreetly.
“That’s right, Nam. Eh, the weather should be chilly today. I don’t know why it’s strangely hotter like this.”
Hearing these two, the couple who were sitting in the room before them turned their faces away from each other as they turned all red. Wisana clenched his jaws tightly, grumbling under his breath saying, “I’ll remember this, you asshats.”
“When I woke up, I was wondering when my friend got out of bed and where she possibly went,” Waree said in an annoying voice, staring at Maysa. “And who would have thought that she would be doing something like that here, in this room.”
“Na, I’m going to take a shower now. Suddenly I feel sweaty.”
Maysa cut them off in a harsh voice, before rushing out of the living room immediately. Wisana was left there, holding his hand up as he thought ‘You just left me?’ floating around in his head. After that, he turned to look at his sisters who were smiling smugly by his side, then he was worn out.
“Don’t you have anything else to do?” Wisana asked in a bored voice.
“I do now, got to go mock May more.”
“Wait, Naat!”
It was too late to hold his hand up to stop the little one before she rushed out of the room as well. Wisana was left again there, scratching his head. Shortly after that, his other sister sat down next to him, placing her chin on his shoulder with a cunning smile.
“What?” Wisana forced out his voice.
“You’ve become so shameless recently, Na, making out in a sharing spacing and broad daylight. What would happen if someone came in and saw you like that?”
“What would happen? This happens.”
After speaking, the brother proceeded to squeeze his sister’s temples, making her cry out “Ouch!”
“You’re getting too precocious now, too. Can you leave adult’s things alone?”
He said, rocking her head back and forth like a toy. However, Waree was laughing out loud like she was having fun to see this kind of reaction from her brother who showed up so cutely once in a while.
“Seriously,”
After they parted away, the brother was shaking his head wryly, while Waree was still laughing. It was around 5 minutes that Waree had fun messing with her brother. Before she changed the topic to something else, Wisana already looked like he had lost every point in his HP bar!
“Did you watch our news earlier?”
“I did. The interview with Thada, right?” Wisana let out a soft sigh.
“I don’t know if it’ll be okay like this.”
Hearing his sister say that, the older one arched his eyebrows.
“Why?” He asked.
“The more attention we get, the more I feel that it’ll be a problem to our force.” She sighed. “Also, we’ve separated from others and been on our own now. Being watched too much isn’t always a good thing.”
“I see,” Wisana replied smilingly, before placing his hand on his sister’s shoulder. “But well, it’s fine. We’re going to get through this. Trust me. At least our army has me, you, May, and Shin, too now.”
The unpleasant-sounding name came in her ears, and that was all to make the slender one freeze. Her emerald, green eyes glared at her brother instantly.
“What does that person have to do with anything?!” Waree snapped.
“Well, right.” Wisana grinned. “But if there’s nothing that person has to do with, then why are you mad, Miss Waree? He’s just a man that you don’t have to care about, isn’t he?”
