Chapter 413: Wings That Fly to the New Legend Part VII
Chapter 413: Wings That Fly to the New Legend Part VII
“And you think that it will end well after what you’ve done?” He said, before grinning. “You’re totally wrong, dipsh*t. I told you, didn’t I? If you want me dead, you have to kill me in the first attempt. Because when I get back at you, it will be extreme.”
The listener was stunned and speechless.
And that made Wisana smile in a bright mood.
“But anyway, I’ll give you this one chance, William. You can do whatever you want with it. I only need one of those, so you might want to use this piece as your lifeline or whatever.”
After speaking, Wisana turned to nod at someone whom William could not see. One moment later, the Alexander fired a missile, making William jump, because the missile was flying to where he was standing!
“Vincent, you sh*t!”
He shouted, barely able to leap away in time.
CRASH!!
But instead of going off, the missile stuck its head in the ground still. After that, it opened up to be some kind of box, then the box fell and broke into pieces on the ground a second later.
The players in the area widened their eyes, especially William who was in more shock than anyone. He completely forgot about this. If the Nemesis backbit them at the base, it meant that the holy crystals probably had been taken away as well.
That was what it should have been...
But Vincent was returning the crystal to him just like this?!
“The holy crystal?” He spoke.
“Well, one of the crystals was used to develop the Alexander, and I need it as my ticket to victory in this war as well. To be honest, I think I have a lot more right to own it than you do. Anyway, think about it thoroughly if you want to have that piece or not, Mister William. But let me warn you of something, the war’s changing its pattern. So, be careful about getting ganged up for the crystal, noob.”
After Wisana’s words, William looked up at the Alexander, waving his fist in the air angrily.
“I don’t know what you’re up to but give me back my crystal now. And you have to take responsibility for all of this Vincent. It’s because of you that everything’s not going my way right now!”
“Oops, sorry if that offends you, noob.” It was Maysa’s turn to speak up. “But everything in this world is not always going our way, you know. So, if you keep doing nothing except for whining like that, you’re going to be just a noob forever. You have to climb your way to the top in this world. And if you still have some dignity, you shouldn’t be stepping on other people’s heads as you do so, you know, noob? That’s why you don’t have any friends.”
The listener was stunned. His face turned red with anger. Normally, William never liked a smart-mouthed girl like Maysa anyway. So, when she struck back right in his face like this, he felt like he could not get any angrier right now.
“Shut up, bitch. You disgusting woman!!”
William shouted resoundingly. But Maysa held her hand up to cover her cute little laugh, looking suspiciously. Seeing that, he raised his eyebrows.
“You shouldn’t call me a bitch in front of my leader, Miss Valentine gave you a clear warning earlier, didn’t she?”
Listening to that, William turned his eyes to Wisana who was standing next to Maysa right away. So, he saw those eyes gazing at him with extreme range. The look in them was almost the same as when a lion looked at its prey.
“Angie, Lightning Vortex, target, the noob.”
Wisana said briefly, making William let out a huh sound confusedly.
But he was not confused for that long...
CRACK!!!
148, 036!!
An enormous thunderbolt struck from the sky right on the head of this rude-mouthed guy, who just insulted a woman shamelessly, like a punishment from God!
“W ...where did that come from?”
That was all he said before the purple-haired man fell on his back on the ground with the state of a burned body. His hair was all frizzy and curled up, looking like a pot scrubber. However, even though he got burned up like that, the purple head was incredibly still alive, and he even got to whisper something to his players quietly.
“Guys, retreat now. Get that crystal back with us, too!”
One of the guild’s members shouted aloud before hundreds of players replied right away. Some of them hurriedly carried their injured friends out of the battle, some had been gone before anyone even told them to leave. Obviously, it was not just the leader who was wimpy, but everyone in this guild was, too!
“Why didn’t you kill him?”
Wisana who was standing next to the captain’s seat, turned to give Angie a displeased look, while Maysa was waving her hand to stop him.
“The crap would stain.” The little mage said briefly.
Wisana clicked his tongue with displeasure.
“Alright now, I think that’s enough.” Meanwhile, Maysa was smiling amusedly.

“Uh-oh, seems like Marcus has demanded his guild to retreat already.”
That was Lavi speaking up as he planked his hand above his head to shade himself from the sunlight. He saw clearly that the force led by Tryne started moving away from the battlefield.
“For whatever reason, this Marcus is very easy to read.” He said jokingly, before turning to look at Valentine. “Do you think so?”
“I do.” She replied smilingly. “Anyway, aren’t you, too?”
“Eh? I am?”
Lavi pretended to be surprised, shrugging his shoulders.
Valentine acted like she did not see that. She just placed her eyes in the battlefield’s direction. What she saw apart from the Dominion guild retreating, the William Star was running away from there without even fighting with anyone yet. They got attacked by the Nemesis once, and they were terrified.
After the thoughts, she let out a soft sigh.
“We should probably retreat as well. There’s no reason for us to take over Tristan anymore.”
She said, sounding like she was just talking to herself. However, her words made many of her players flinch right away.
“Eh? Why should we retreat now, boss? Now is the best chance. The Dominions are retreating. So, it shouldn’t be hard for us to claim the city.”
Listening to that, Valentine turned to give that player a soft smile.
“You may be right. But right now, the war’s flow has been changing. Tristan doesn’t look like the best stronghold anymore. From now on, it’ll just be a suicide ground where everyone can invade and gang up on you incredibly easily.”
“Everyone?”
That player raised his eyebrows confusedly.
But Lavi, who was overhearing it, slipped out a chuckle.
“As expected of Valentine, reading the game thoroughly.”
Valentine smiled sweetly at the compliment.
“Not as good as you. You’ve probably expected this. That’s why you didn’t waste your strength by bringing any of your force to the battle in the first place.”
“Nah, I can’t see the future, you know.”
Lavi chuckled, then flicked his cloak, gesturing to walk away.
“Let me warn you before you go.” Valentine held him back. “I’ve only been sticking with him for a short time, speaking with him only a few times, but he’s good. His wings are probably not at their best, but eventually, this baby dragon will grow into a full-grown dragon anyway. It’s like something that’s been destined for him from the beginning.”
“...”
Lavi did not say anything, he just stood there still.
“And he won’t be just a dragon, but an emperor of them all.”
