Chapter 363: Wolf Among Sheep Part III

Chapter 363: Wolf Among Sheep Part III

“If we do our best on our part, there shouldn’t be any problem, right?” Warunya added.

Maysa sighed at their words and turned to give them a smile to be polite. However, her heart did not agree with that at all. Her accurate instinct had been alarming her all night that there would surely be some unexpected event occurring, and there would be a surprise from the guy named William as well.

It was concerning that the guy insisted Wisana be in the frontline, while the other guild leaders were all put in the back.

As if he was expecting Wisana to die.

“Good morning, you three.”

A second later, there was a cheerful voice of someone ringing up, making the three turn in that direction. After seeing who the newcomer was, Maysa curled up a slight smile.

Their leader was probably a devil, showing up right after she thought about him like this.

“Morning.” Three voices replied with a smile on their faces.

“You guys didn’t sleep at all last night, huh? It’s obvious on your faces that you’re so sleepy.”

Wisana gave them a delighted smile as he rubbed Maysa’s hair and grabbed the blue potion that she had not yet finished to take a sip of.

“Where’s Mo?” Manoch asked.

“I keep her in the inventory.” He said, pointing his thumb over his back. “Someone told me to put her there, so I could share my EXP from a fight with her like that. Jinnie will take care of her, so there shouldn’t be any problems.”

“What about Nam?” Warunya asked, too.

“She’s gone to meet up with the William Star guild in the east already. That force is probably preparing to take over the other mining area as well.”

Everyone nodded at the words of their leader right away.

“Did you sleep well?” Maysa asked.

“Yeah, I did for 3 hours. That made my head a lot clearer.”

“So, you’re ready for today?”

“Yeah.” Wisana grinned cheerfully. “More than ready.”

“Good to hear.” She said, glancing at the other two and smiling sweetly. “Because the support work is ours, but the front work is yours. So, don’t let our effort go to waste.”

“Of course, I won’t, gorgeous.”

Hearing that, Maysa could actually smile now. She took the potion bottle back from her boyfriend’s hand, before drinking it all at a time. She then stretched herself lazily.

“Alright now, it’s time to hear about the plan. Ae, gather them in and tell Richie to go wake Nuch and Tun, too.” Maysa started to have a refreshing smile back on her face.

“Copy that.”

----------------

About two hours had passed, after following one another in, the Nemesis guild members were all at the outdoor meeting together now. There were still a few who were putting their uniforms on, while they were running to sit at the end of the row. The chief members were standing in the front with their chief of staff in her best uniform, opening a large transparent screen up to play her presentation about the plan in this last meeting before the battle. Some of them started opening theirs up as well, syncing them to the large one to see the presentation clearer for themselves.

“We all are here, right?”

Maysa asked, and Manoch nodded in reply. Then she looked in another direction and saw Tunwa yawning with Nuchjaree’s head hanging low as she leaned on one of his shoulders on the chairs next to each other.

That was all to make her let out a long sigh.

Would they ever be okay in the battle?!

“Alright, everyone, this morning is the time that you all are looking for. I know that most of you are still feeling tired, but...” She paused to take a deep breath.

“Get it together now!!!”

The resounding shout was the thing that made many of the members jump out of their skin. Those who were sleeping had become awake completely. And the two rivals who were drowsy in the front almost got up and danced to welcome the new morning, even.

Wisana slipped out a loud laugh at that.

But the one who got woken up by the thundering sound made a clicking sound in their throat out of displeasure.

“You two need to stop,” Tunwa complained.

“You didn’t even have to shout,” Nuchjaree added.

Maysa cleared her throat, acting imposing. She seemed pleased that most of the members started to get their consciousness back to the present.

“Okay. First, I’d like to say good morning to all of you.”

She spoke politely before the others who were sitting in front of her greeted her back.

“As you know, we’re going into the battle in the next few minutes, so I’d like to take this opportunity to explain the plan as briefly as possible. And if you have any questions after this, you can ask your unit chief right away. I’ve already given them all the details.”

After speaking, Maysa pointed her hand to where Wisana and his best friends were sitting. Seeing that, Wisana poked Tunwa harshly with his elbow to keep the man awake after he just let out a big yawn.

“The chiefs who are going to be in the frontline with you are Miss Nuchjaree and Mister Tunwa, along with leader Vincent, who is the one who leads our force into the battle today. If it’s not too much to ask, please take care of them for me. Knock them on the head if they’re about to do something crazily impulsive. You have my permission for that.”

After her words, some people cracked into a laugh, feeling amused by the three’s shocked faces that all turned to look at Maysa in unison.

“I’ll start explaining the plan briefly first,” Maysa said, and the large screen behind her showed the face of the three with three columns table, and each column was clearly for one of the chiefs.

“In this battle, I’ve divided our force into three units.”

After that, the names of the guild members who were going to the battle today started appearing in those columns, according to what chief each of them was assigned to right away.

“Your names in these columns are clear what unit and chief you belong to. And each unit has a completely different purpose.” She said, then smiled. “For Chief Tunwa’s unit, it has the most players, which are 53 players. This one is to be the main force to counter the enemies directly. The main task is to not let them get through the backline ever. You have to oppose them from the front. So, this part, Mister Tunwa will be able to do it not so difficultly, right?”

After speaking, Maysa turned to glance at Tunwa who was reading the names list on his information window. Then he looked up to catch eye with the chief of staff, curled up a smile at her, and held two fingers up instantly.

“We sure will, chief. Leave it to me and these guys.” He said, before looking at those who were sitting there. “Right, guys? Today is the time for the bloodbath. Can I hear some noises of you, crazy people?!!”

YEAHHHHH!!!

That was an effective morning cheering because these hot-headed young people started to get warmed up now. Seeing that, Maysa curled up a satisfied smile right away.

That was Tunwa. His cheering skill was really top-tier.

“For the second unit that Chief Nuchjaree is in charge of, is the range attack unit.” Maysa continued shortly after. “This unit is meant to support the attack from the back. Try hitting with magic with high damage points, taking turns to attack. Also, the medical unit will be sticking with this unit as well since Miss Stella must stay in the base, so she isn’t available to lead her unit by herself. ...There’s not any problem with this, right, Miss Nuchjaree?”

“Not at all. Trust me on that.”

The dashing girl shouted aloud, before turning to give the players in her unit a sweet smile.

“Our unit isn’t second to Tun’s, okay? Make sure everyone knows that we can go on a killing spree from the backline as well!”

YEAHH!!

The cheering noise from the range unit was as loud as the first one. Maysa curled up a slight smile, before holding her hand up to make everyone quiet down again.

“And for the last unit, leader Vincent.”
