Chapter 330: Major Meeting and Meeting Again. Part I

Dores town.

Even though it was not a big town with developed transportation nor some good dungeons around, it was still one of the most popular towns in the game without any doubt.

It was not only the location of the association of hunters for those players who wanted to raise their EXP, but Dores was also the town that had many merchants from around the world gathered to put their goods for sale in the game’s central market, so the other players could join their online items auctions as well. Moreover, there was a courtroom to judge the cases of those players who had violated the game’s rules as well. And all of these were inside the tall tower with more than 200 floors called Athenia. It was at the center of the town and was known as the symbol of Dores.

“That tower hasn’t been fixed yet? It’s been months already, and it’s still left ugly chipped off like that.”

The cheerful voice of Tunwa rang up as he put his face on the window glass, looking exactly like a kid who got excited by the view outside.

“Well, it got severely damaged. I think it might take half a year to finish fixing.”

The sweet voice of the chief of staff came after. She replied to him unbothered. Her light grey eyes were reading the information on her screen like she was trying to get everything into her brain as much as time let her.

After hearing the answer, Tunwa glanced at the sky high in front of him that had a little bit of its top broken off, and there were many cracks on the building’s walls appearing clearly.

“Tunwa, stop wriggling around like a kid already. It annoys my eyes.”

Another woman’s voice snapped, sounding quite frustrated.

“Well! I’ve never ridden this kind of car before, so why can’t you let me have my moment a little?”

“Yeah, but have some limits. At least try sitting properly like the rest of us. How was your fear-of-height condition suddenly cured anyway?”

Nuchjaree snapped again, before letting out a long sigh. She was in a pitched black Nemesis guild’s uniform with a white undershirt and a pair of long pants, looking earnest.

After that, Tunwa made a snorting sound out of his throat, before turning his face away like he did not want to talk to the other that much. Meanwhile, the one who was watching them like Maysa, was smiling amusedly at how these two could pick on each other, regardless of place or time.

And then, silence fell all around them again.

Inside the large limousine that had two wide passage seat rolls that faced each other, the members of the Nemesis guild had travelled from their camp and arrived in Dores at a speed that they were surprised by...

“It’d be good if there normally was a ride like this transported between towns.”

Waree spoke up from the window seat. She was looking outside the window and started to feel amazed by it. Maybe that was because the limousine did not travel on land like a normal car, but it was flying in the sky at a speed that was not different from a jet at all. However, the passengers would feel this ride was comfy and steady just like the car was parked still even.

“Well, yeah. It took 30 minutes from Albasta to Dores. If there’ll be something that can go faster than this, it has to be those GMs’ teleport skills, I think.”

Maysa said, while her eyes were still focusing on the screen in front of her.

“But if there was actually a service like this, I think it would cost lots of money for a ride surely.”

Warunya added, turning to Waree.

“The GMs only put this kind of car on service when there’s a special event like this. And we’re lucky that the staff offered us a ride, or I’d be so stressed out about getting us to the meeting in time." Maysa said in a weary voice.

“The good thing is that we didn’t have to rely on Na’s butterfly effect as well,” said Waree.

Hearing that, everyone laughed amusedly, before glancing at some man who had been quiet since when they left the camp.

“Indeed. If there weren’t a car to pick us up, Orn, Tun, and I wouldn’t have tagged along to the meeting like this.”

Nuchjaree said smilingly. Because if there were not a car, Wisana would have had to actually fly them to Dores. And that meant he had to carry Waree and Maysa with his two hands. That seemed to be struggling enough already. Now if he had to carry Tunwa on his back, too, then they all flew at the high speed and the height. Surely, Tunwa would have been totally shocked and wet his pants by now.

So, compared to this limousine, even though it flew high in the air as well, it was still on the level that Tunwa could stand. Also, with how smooth the ride was, it barely felt different from sitting in a parked car on the ground at all.

“Well, I didn’t want to come, actually.” Tunwa disclaimed. “If it weren’t Na who dragged me along, I wouldn’t agree to go out. Just thinking about that I’ll have to be sitting still in the meeting room for a long time, and BRRRR, I’m already shaking.”

Hearing that, Nuchjaree sighed.

“Don’t you want to be useful for the guild at all?”

“Huh? Yes, I’m more useful where I’m left at the camp. Think about it, I could have taken my guys out to hunt some good items back in our camp instead right now.”

“But there’s nothing you have to go hunt. We’ve got all we need, except that you just want to be left slacking at the camp, jerk.”

And the two haters started sneering at each other again, troubling Warunya who was sitting between them to hold her hands up to stop them with a wry smile.

While these two were picking up a fight, Waree realized right away that from when they left Albasta until here, her silly brother had been sitting still, and not talking to anyone all the way. And now that he was sitting with his arms crossed on his chest, closing his eyes like he was taking a nap as well.

“Na, what’s wrong? You’re tired?” She asked.

“...” And her brother was still not saying anything in response.

“You’re missing Mo? Don’t worry. For now, Miss Stella’s taking care of her. She’s in a good hand now.”

“...”

And that was another time that he was replying to her with silence, until Maysa, who was sitting on another side glanced at them from the corner of her eyes. And seeing that, she chuckled, looking up at Waree with an amused smile.

“The guy’s not tried,” Maysa said. “He’s focusing,”

“On what?”

“On shifting into Vincent.”

“Good late morning for those brave warriors who are joining the war only.”

A voice shouted out resoundingly throughout the area, followed by a tall familiar-looking man of the DJ, who was dressed up in full armor today.

“How’re you doing? Where’re my war allies? Can I hear the voice of those dragon-hearted warriors growling out to all over the world?!!”

CHEEEEEER!!!!

The cheering noise was heard resoundingly. Many people who were gathered in the clearing in front of the Athenia tower started screaming when DJ Toei, Pride’s number one host went on the stage at the entrance of the tower, with an enormous screen placed on his side for the live broadcast.

“The roar of warriors is so intense like this, then I, DJ Toei will start the holy crystal war from now on!”

HEEEEEEEEEEEY!!!!
