Chapter 308: Mission of Survival Part V

GEEEEEZE!!!

It screamed out in a high-pitched voice in a way that it had never done before. Its black blood was spatting all over as the crystal axe, the weapon that Wisana summoned out was broken into pieces instantly.

“I’m totally right to cut the tail. If I went for the torso, the axe would have been broken before I even put the force into it, and the damage points wouldn’t have been this many.”

The gentle voice rang as the tall man managed to get his feet on the earth for the first time after he had been flying for so long.

His feet stepped to the dragon’s tail and an annoying smile came across his face. He tilted his head to the side, looking at Sarquros that seemed to be fully conscious again now. The dragon could sense that the enemy was nearby right there, so it was getting ready to attack.

The guy named Vincent just shook his head slightly, before putting his index finger on his lips.

“Uh-uh, don’t be mad, baby girl,” he said with a delighted voice. “Girls always give guys presents anyway, don’t they? So, let me have this as a reminder of our first date night, can I?”

After speaking, he pointed to Sarquros instantly.

“Also, do you really think that I only drew one symbol when we were in the sky? I told you that I have it all calculated.”

Without realizing it, another magic circle was already glowing dazzlingly on the back of Sarquros, ...with bright yellow-golden colored light.

A blink later, there were dozens of large chains rushing in around the dragon tightly. Some of them pulled Sarquros down on the ground with a loud crashing noise, some were tied around its mouth firmly so that the monster could not move any muscles!

“You should be proud, girl,” Wisana said smilingly, before holding his palms out in an annoying way. “There’re very few of those who could force me to use that spell because I would use it when I’m most desperate only.”

Hearing that, the black dragon started wriggling on the ground like it did not want to listen to his guy’s voice so much!

“You don’t have to get upset, gorgeous. It’s not like wriggling like that would change anything. That’s the highest-ranked special confinement skill. It can hold an enemy still for around 20 minutes, I guess. And in the meantime, if there’s no one to attack you, these chains will never fade away until the skill’s period ends. So, until my friends find that dragon flare, let’s enjoy the view of the night sky here together, shall we, gorgeous?”

He said, before stepping closer to take a seat on the face of the female dragon Sarquros right away. And after getting disrespected like that, the black dragon got crazily furious. It tried to fight these magic chains desperately. Even though it was wriggling harshly that the corky man was rocking on its face, he was still laughing loudly like this was some kind of joke anyway.

“Getting tied up with all these chains, you still have the strength to fight it?” Wisana smiled widely. “You’re such an interesting dragon. And you seem to be nicer than Lord Inferno, too. Even just your look is one hundred times more elegant than it is already. But you’ll be a lot better if you tone down the brutality of yours a little bit, you know.”

Wisana spoke to the dragon as if he were teasing some savage pretty girl.

Because it seemed like this dragon woman could understand human language.

And it seemed like the type that reacted when they got teased as well. Seeing this kind of reminded him of Nuchjaree somehow.

But it was not long after he sat down on Sarquros’ face when there was a light flashing in front of him with a clink! sound like a small bell. That was the notification when a player got a rare item dropped from a monster.

“That sound,”

Wisana raised his eyebrows, eyes following the light, before getting up to follow the sound. He looked down, and if he was not wrong, Sarquros’ tail he cut was dropped here, wasn’t it?

So, why was there only a ring dropped here instead now?

“A ring?”

Wisana picked it up. He sounded curious and then he grinned, before looking at Sarquros again with a cheeky face.

“Is this your engagement ring for me? Aw, this is awkward though. I already have a girlfriend.”

The more he talked, the more the black dragon wriggled with frustration.

Then he looked at the ring in his hand as he pouted his mouth out of curiosity. He did not know this was a thing, cutting a tail off and getting an item in return. Could it be that cutting a body part off a boss was counted as killing it?

Well, it was good to have something back to the camp like this.

And this ring seemed to be good stuff as well.

The design was pretty with a carved tiny dragon flying around the item.

“However, I’m going to keep this gift as a reminder of our first date night, okay?”

He spoke and gave the dragon a cheeky smile to the black dragon again. And this time, the monster looked like it did not have any strength to move now. So, it was just gazing at Wisana intensely with those scary ruby-red eyes like it wanted revenge.

“Aw, staring at me like that is making me blush, you know,” Wisana said jokingly.

BOOM!!!

But right after that, there was a loud explosion coming from afar. The man jumped, then turned in that direction and saw a massive, tall flame blazing up into the sky, looking like the small size of a nuclear bomb. And there was only one person who could cause something like that around here.

“They’ve found it, huh.” He spoke to himself. “Why didn’t she use the guild communication channel though? Why would she send that kind of sign to make it so loud, this kid.”

He said and let out a big sign, before turning to smile at the black dragon right away.

“What a shame right, gorgeous?” He spoke. “Our date is over now. It seems like my party is calling me to them now. So, don’t worry about the chains, they will be loosening down. And about the egg I took from you, I swear to take care of it really well. I can assure you that the baby will be in a nice place surely.”

Then he held up his hand to touch the end of his eyebrow to say goodbye like how teenagers did. And if it was another girl seeing him like this, she would have screamed in cheering by now, but that was not this mother dragon!

HMMM!!!

It could not scream, so the dragon made a displeased sound in its throat instead. The massive body was trying to fight these chains off desperately because it realized that this damn guy was about to get away now!

“Come on, gorgeous, don’t be stubborn. Don’t you know that I don’t like pasty girls?” He said and smiled softly. “I’ll come hang with you sometime later. After I’m almost at the same level as you, of course, or I’ll get killed by you surely.”

After speaking, the gentleman spread out his wings and the green magic spread all over the area as well. Then he launched up into the sky, looking outstanding with the moon glowing behind him...

The black dragon was left lying there to feel the rage. It was not its skills that made it lose to this man, but it was the man’s intelligence and experience in battles that it could not beat. And so, it could be said that the man it just fought had both characteristics in a top ranking.

Above everything, the enterprising and the recklessness were like a personal charm of this monster.

The monster that was named Vincent!

Right now, Sarquros could only whine disconsolately in a way that it had never felt like this before in its life. A part of it was hurt when its baby was stolen right in front of its eyes, and the other part was filled with the rage of getting so beaten up by a player with less level than it like this.

And the last part,

A strange feeling that it had never experienced before. It was the feeling when its heart started pounding after seeing the gentle smile of that annoying man.
