Chapter 282: The Upgraded Nemesis and Major Meeting Part VII

“And what is that thing you’re talking about, Miss?”

Wisana retorted confusedly, making the gorgeous girl take her eyes off the screen and stare at him from the corner of her eyes, in a way that got him a goosebump. Meanwhile, Waree who was sitting beside them could only giggle at this weirdo couple.

“Don’t tell me that you forgot about what I told you.” Maysa raised her voice. “It’s about upgrading your third class. You’re making a blank face right now; it means that you really forgot. Right?”

The last sentence made the listener flinch, before giving the other a smile to cover it up.

“Forgot? Who? Because no, I didn’t. How could I forget about such a thing?”

Maysa narrowed her eyes as she gazed at him. “What’s your level now?”

He was speechless from getting asked so straight about the topic. Wisana almost backed away and hid behind his sister’s back, because of those light grey eyes in front of him that were threatening him with punishment right now.

When not getting the answer to the question she asked, Maysa let out a long sigh, snapping her fingers.

“Database, Vincent.”

After her voice, Wisana jumped. Maysa did not have to wait for the answer from him, because as the chief of staff, she had access to the guild members’ information thoroughly anyway. With only a snap and a keyword, everything that she wanted to know would pop up instantly.

After reading her boyfriend’s information Window, Maysa exhaled a huge sigh. Then, she glared at Wisana in the way that he could only force up a strange wry smile in reply!

“If you haven’t reached level 100 like this, how are you supposed to upgrade your third class? I told you to speed your farming up, didn’t I? But you’ve been stuck on level 99 for almost a month now. See? you’ve been playing around too much, and now that you’re running late on your level.”

Wisana could not argue with her. He could only look down to avoid her, admitting his fault.

It was true that Maysa had been telling him to farm his level 100 for quite a long while, and he had always thought that killing a few bosses would do. That was why he always procrastinated and had fun with item seeking trips with the Tunwa’s field unit. So, he completely forgot that the deadline was in three days!

“I’m sorry, Babe. I got carried away by the adventures.”

The man was poking his index fingers, implying that he was guilty in every case. His sister chuckled at that, while Maysa was shaking her head wearily.

“Never mind, just forget about farming now. You can take the guild’s EXP. Just 15 million points shouldn’t be a problem. We’ve hoarded it for almost 80 million now anyway.”

“What? Yes, that should be a problem.” Wisana raised his voice. “Didn’t you say that the EXPs are for upgrading the guild’s level? The members will definitely complain if I use it.”

“It’ll be fine.” Maysa cut him off. “I’ve talked to them, and everyone is more than okay for you to take this EXP. More than half of the EXP hoarding was what you gained anyway. So, no one will complain. Take it, upgrade to level 100, and then your third class, okay?”

The command came with a sweet smile that Wisana had to take the guild’s EXP as she said so grudgingly. So, he nodded in understanding, before smiling back at her.

“Anyway, did you decide on your third class yet, Na?”

Waree asked, and Wisana nodded in reply, smiling.

“Yes, I did.”

“Is that so?” Waree smiled widely. “But you have to choose your third class carefully, okay? Because you’ll stick with the class for a long time before you can upgrade to your next one. Upgrading the master class requires level 300, you know. And there’re only a few players who can achieve it from all the time that Pride game has been released.”

Hearing that, Wisana nodded. And he understood why there were very few players who could earn their fourth class or the master class. That was because farming for level in the game was quite difficult. Even Wisana almost coughed out his blood framing all the way from level 80 to 99 in the past months. So, he did not want to imagine how difficult it would be to farm for 200 levels more.

“And are you really going to upgrade to that class, Na?” Maysa asked.

“Yeah, I’ve decided. I was uncertain about it too at first. But after I researched about it, I thought it might be fun. Also, if I have the new class abilities to combine with the old ones, that will be strangely lit.”

Hearing that, the girls glanced and gave each other a sweet smile. Then, Maysa nodded in reply with an amused laugh. She thought of when this guy logged into the game for the first time, and that made her unable to stop smiling. Well, he did not even know what a “dungeon” was back then, but now that he looked so experienced, and even decided his class by himself.

Well, ...even a monkey could learn.

This guy probably could not be worse than those monkeys!

“Where do you have to go to ask for your class quest this time?” Waree asked.

“Uh, Ziggard. The class office is around there.”

“Oh, that’s not very far,” Maysa said. “You should be back in three days. Anyway, hurry up and make it to the center council’s meeting, okay?”

Hearing Maysa’s words this time, Wisana paused right away. He glanced at his girlfriend, who was already raising her eyebrows at him.

“What?”

“You’re not coming with me? Well, it’s that Ziggard, you know. It’s a very long distance from here and I heard that there’re many tough monsters around there.”

“Uh, no. I can’t go with you, sorry. I still have a lot of work to do here. I have to review our strategies and plans, deal with the budget, and many more. I don’t think I can leave my office room right now.”

Hearing that, the cheeky one made a sad face instantly. Even though Maysa was smiling as an apology, he still felt disappointed. Okay then, if his girlfriend was busy, he would ask his sister to come with him. So, he turned to look at Waree, making her jump right away.

“I’m busy as well, Na. As you see, my workload is up above my head now. I have to follow up with the member checking and the coordination between every chief. So, I think I have to stick with May here.”

“What?”

Wisana whined wearily, while the girls were giving him a dry smile.

“No one is free to join me on the trip? What the heck? That’s the Ziggard, you guys. It’d be boring going alone.” He frowned. “Tun and Nuch are off to somewhere right now. Ae seems busy as well. Hey, then who should I ask to come with me?”

Maysa was quiet. She actually wanted to go with him, but she was really caught up with work here. However, Waree was not like that. She gave him a soft smile, then said.

“Don’t worry, Bro. I think I know someone who can go with you. This one who’s free and has no task to do.”

Hearing that, Wisana paused, hurriedly turning to look at his sister instantly.

“Really? Who?” he asked excitedly.

Waree did not reply right away. She just purposedly looked at the meeting room door before the doorknob was turned and the door swung open like it knew the queue. And the person who slowly walked into the room made Wisana gasp.

That person had the body of a ten-year-old girl. Her long silver hair was let down on her back. Her eyes were big and round with ruby red eyes. The girl made Waree smile widely, but Wisana frowned.

“This is the one that you’re talking about? Just kill me, Nam. I’d rather die than go anywhere alone with her.”

Wisana spoke up so fast that Waree had to pinch his thigh harshly, making him scream out loud. Meanwhile, the newcomer knitted her eyebrows together as she tried to not be bothered by those words of this annoying man who was her forever rival!

“Why did you call me in, Nam?” The little one asked in a monotone voice.

“Well, I’d like to ask you a favor, Angie.”
