A second later, the owner of the joyful voice shouted out loudly, as a tall man with a girl in his arms appeared. Even though those wings looked different, their speed was still the same. The only man in the game who could spread his wings in the sky was having a grin on his attractive face. His amber eyes were looking at the 18-meter-tall monster before his chuckle followed.

“Who would have that we would have to see our old enemy in a place like this!” The man shouted loudly, making the girl who was being carried while she was holding a large rifle in her hands goggled her eyes at him.

“This is not the time to talk nonsense, you know. And fly more steadily. ...I can’t fire at anything if you’re swaying like this.”

“Yes, Miss.”

The tall one slowed down, as the girl who was the chief of staff of Nemesis smiled sweetly. She licked her lips, while her light grey eyes were looking through the zoom optic. The enemy’s position was in the same spot, not even changing a bit. And the more they flew closer, the wider her aimpoint was. But for this woman, the width of the target was not something she was interested in, because she was aiming at the only spot on the enemy, the fatal weakness in its eyes!

The golden light beam from the rifle never missed the target, and it even combined with the blind shot skill that had the ability to temporarily blind the enemy as well. So, Lord Inferno that had been shot at an unexpected spot growled out in pain!

The buddies turned and smiled knowingly at each other. After Maysa looked below her and saw the others staring at them dumbfoundedly, she slipped out a soft laugh.

Maysa spoke smilingly, and Wisana let out a laugh right away.

“Then be careful down there, girl. This Lord Inferno seems to be more brutal than before.”

“Don’t worry. Have I ever let you down before? You better worry about yourself. Have you got used to the new butterfly effect yet? You’re still swaying around when you fly.”

“It takes some time to learn a new thing, you know.” Wisana smiled widely. “But I’ll be fine. Ae has modified some good stuff here.”

“Don’t be too corky when I’m not around then, you got that?”

“Let’s say, I’ll try.” He said, then smiled cunningly.

“Your face says otherwise though. You really can’t wait to try out your new toy. How can I not be worried? And Jinnie always spoils you.”

“Don’t worry, Miss Maysa. I’ll be looking out for Master.”

Another voice rang up. It was such a cute-sounding voice that Maysa gave up and let out a sigh, while the one who was spoiled put a big smile on his face.

“Have I ever disappointed you?”

It was this sentence that made Maysa laugh aloud, before holding up her hand to knock on the cheeky one’s forehead softly. Then she nodded as a command to take her to the ground now.

They did not say anything more. Wisana flew down from the sky, going right to where Rattana and Waree were standing and looking at them, quite far from where the battle was occurring. After Wisana took them close enough to the ground, Maysa did not hesitate to jump down and landed smoothly on the spot that she was aiming for, accurately like she had been practicing this many times before.

“May, did the beam earlier come from you? And what’s up with Wisana’s wings? Where have you been? I was so worried.”

Waree did not hesitate to rush in and grab her friend’s arm, while her eyes were checking on her to see if Maysa’s body was wounded anywhere. And the one who was being examined slipped out a laugh.

“Chill out, Nam, I’m fine.” She replied and turned to nod at Rattana. “Right now, what we should be worried about the most is that Lord Inferno. It’s a monster that is made from the Jammer Effect, right?”

She asked Rattana, and the GM nodded in response.

“It’s a huge virus, the cause of all this. If we can eliminate it, this mess will be over.”

Maysa spread out her smile in understanding, before glancing at the guys at the battle zone.

“I can see now why Shin and Thada are cockily challenging Lord Inferno with just the two of them like that.”

Maysa said and let out a long sigh. Well, she actually did not have the right to criticize them about this though, since she had fought the monster with around the same amount of members in the party before, even though this Lord Inferno was upgraded to be a lot more difficult, but still.

“Anyway, have you heard about Ae and Angie yet?”

Maysa turned to ask as if she had just realized that.

“No. I still can’t contact them. I don’t know if they’re still alive.”

Waree said with an unwell face. And Maysa understood right away how much the other was worried about her little friend, but this was not the time to think about that either. So, Maysa placed her hand on her friend’s shoulder, before smiling at her.

“They’ll be fine. I’m so sure of that. Even though Angie’s a bit clumsy, she’s safe with Ae. Trust me.”

After hearing what Maysa said, Waree paused, gasping out of shock.

“What?” Maysa asked after she saw that face.

“I can’t believe this...”

“Huh...”

“Just now, you just admitted that Ae’s reliable.”

Maysa frowned instantly. Then she made a snorting sound out of her throat, before shaking her head harshly.

“I think you got something wrong, Nam. I said Angie would be safe with Ae because I know that he has a special talent called, “the first to disappear.” ...He’s been improving this talent since he was in kindergarten school. And trust me, he can run out of trouble so fast, in a way that your brother can’t even compare.”

Hearing that, Waree and Rattana looked at each other, before both of them laughed out loud. As well as Maysa who joined in laughing after she saw the girls started to be more relaxed now. Not like when she had just landed here where these two were making a face like they were playing poker.

“So, if there’s not anything else to be worried about now, shall we hear my plan out now?”

Maysa said in a joyful voice, and that made the listeners feel both assured and relieved somehow. Waree smiled widely at her in response right away. She wondered if Maysa realized that she started to be more and more like Wisana, who only used a sweet smile to soothe down the degree of crisis instantly, regardless of what kind of situation.

“That’s the chief of staff of Nemesis. Our guild’s starting to be more systematic now.”

“Of course. Nemesis must be the most awesome in every way.”

Maysa said jokingly, before turning to Rattana.

“GM Anne, could you share your stats data, your attack skills, and your defense skills information with me, please? I haven’t calculated your abilities yet.”

“We’re going to figure a plan out now, while the guys are fighting like that?”

“Don’t worry. That’s the job they’ve applied for anyway. And a good lady like us has work to do as well.”

She said and winked at Rattana before she looked at the battle zone.

The zone where Wisana was having fun flying around the enemy.

“Also, I’m sure that right now, there’s no monster that can harm our leader. None.”

Hearing that, the other girls looked at each other, before putting on a big smile on their faces right away.

“That’s right. Thada will never lose to this kind of monster either.” Rattana said.

“Shin, too. He’s more likely to push himself too hard, but his skills are real.”

After that, the girls burst out laughing, before Maysa opened her information window up to do research for her plan again.

“Moreover, this could be the first and the last time that we get to see three monsters cooperating in a fight like this, right?” Maysa said, then smiled amusedly.
