Chapter 226: Start Hunting! Part IV

Chapter 226: Start Hunting! Part IV

GROOWL!!!!

It did not take long before a loud growl resounded through the area with the ground quaking that Shin had to let out a knowing smile and let out a long sigh...

“We’ve killed three thousand, finally.”

He spoke up with a smirk, while his rough hand tightened the grip on his favorite weapon again. ...Those Lavender eyes were staring at the newest monster that was appearing just a few meters away in front of him.

His calculations and godly skill of calmness, made him point the sharp end of the spear at the new enemy.

It was a massive monster with two horns circling back in its head like a goat. But its 8-meter tall body and the flames that were blazing out of its nose were quite scary to look at. Its hands were huge, as well as those long claws.

Balrog

The fire monster that was well known for being brutal!

GROOOWL!!!

It growled loudly with a flame blazing out of its mouth. Its scream made the wind blow strongly against Shin’s hair. ...Moreover, the immense pressure that it had on the enemy was scary as well.

However, Shin’s face still remained calm.

And he was even gazing at the boss back with those eyes as well.

“Starting with a Balrog? Good. It was so boring hitting those goblins. Now, let me just claim my boss bonus scores!”

GROOWL!!!

A scream was heard in the distance with a warm wind blowing from behind them, making those two in the middle of a battlefield pause, turning to look in the direction in unison...

“The hell was that?”

The owner of amber eyes cursed out loudly. Before a baboon rushed in to attack him a second later, making him yell as he moved away from it and killed it with a kick.

“The sky like that means...”

Tryne started with a quiet voice, but it was loud enough for Wisana to hear.

“Tch! Those GMs really put a Balrog for the first station boss?!”

“Boss?”

The one who was overhearing it repeated the word with an anxious face. ...The sky over there ahead of them now darkened like there would be a storm soon. But in the eye of the storm was red like a flame. He knew from one glance that it was the sign of the appearance of the most brutal fire monster, Balrog.

“The scream just now, don’t tell me that someone’s already found it.”

Tryne said with a frustrated voice, holding up his sword tightly and sweeping those Minotauruses out of his way. Then, he started running out of the area right away.

“That guy’s going to kill the boss...?”

Wisana spoke to himself before he leaped to the top of a building around him like he was taking a moment to decide his next move. ...Then he saw that the Tryne guy was speeding out of the market; his eyebrows frowned tightly in an instant.

Then he looked at the top of the building on the other side, Vis chose to stay at the same spot and continued killing monsters below calmly. ...But after Wisana watched him attentively for a while, there were many times that Vis glanced up to the red sky where the boss had appeared.

“He’s so calm. From that height, he probably already saw the boss and everyone’s movements, I guess. Or else he wouldn’t have the nickname Eagle’s Eye. It would be a huge disreputation if he couldn’t.”

Speaking of this, the owner of amber eyes paused...

He glanced at the guy named Vis again and noticed that he was not as calm as he thought in the first place. May told him once that gunner-class players would have a skill that increased their sight’s range, allowing them to see further and clearer. And this guy didn’t climb up a tower because he needed a place to sneak kill the monsters only.

But he also had some other clever plans prepared as well...

“Tch, judging from that calm face, who would have thought that he would have a savage plan like this.”

Wisana said jokingly. Then a cunning smile spread widely across his attractive face. Right now, he looked like he already had a brilliant plan squeezed out of his brain that could come up with something practical once in a while, too.

One moment later, the troublemaker jumped up to a building with a bit higher height than this one and closer to that Vis guy. Then he let himself down and sat on the floor like he was resting, even though there were intense battles of collecting scores surrounding him right now.

“Alright, let me just save my energy for running only now,” Wisana said, then grinned knowingly right away.

Lance Stab

GROOOWL!!!

823,963!

Balrog screamed out confusedly when Longinus’ blade of the young crusader who had lavender-colored eyes, just stabbed through the chest of the 8-meter-tall monster, making the fire monster with the look of a goat stunned instantly.

“Such a thick skin you got there.”

Shin cursed after knowing from the attack that this enemy had a strong body!

Then he looked up and saw that Balrog was getting ready to strike back at him by slapping those large claws down. The tall man ground his teeth tightly, stepped back, and grudgingly left his weapon sticking there in the enemy’s chest.

CRASH!!!

The claws hit the ground, causing a loud noise and long-shaped cuts on the concrete. The tall one stepped away from the boss, eyes looking at his favorite weapon consideringly.

Should he just use Crisis Nova now?

No, it was too soon to do that. This was just the first boss. If he lost a Longinus now, his late game would surely be tough!

After making a decision calmly, the tall figure started moving again. His rough hand managed to touch the soil surface and drag another Longinus out immediately...

As fast as the thought after summoning the weapon out, Shin launched toward the enemy again without any hesitation in those eyes at all, even though that massive hand of it was about to attack him just inches away from above his head!

“Too late!”

Shin shouted, before rolling on the ground to evade that attack in just a nick of time. After he could stand on his feet again, the tall one rushed to the enemy from a lower angle quickly. His target was his water element Longinus that was sticking in Balrog’s chest.

After his rough hand could grab the spear’s handle, he cast himself up to stand on the stuck spear right away, before using it as a base to jump again. And at the moment his feet were about to fly up, he did not forget to pull that spear out with him skillfully.

The agility made Balrog stunned like it could not see Shin at all...

It might be strong, but its movement speed was slow. And it might have a lot of armor points, but that was not a problem for a heavy tank that was expert in destroying enemies in the blink of an eye!!

Twin Lance Stab

2,023,780!!

GROOWL!!!

The pitch-black blood gushed out of Balrog’s shoulders as it screamed out painfully. The spears stabbed in its shoulders accurately. And Shin just leaped away from the enemy without minding pulling his spears out of it again.

CRASH!!

And Balrog was still able to slap its claws to attack Shin slowly like usual...

This type of monster was totally like a sweet snack for Shin. A player with full skills like him, who was so close to being flawless, gained an advantage even more when encountering a snail-slow monster like this one.

Even though he was stared at by the enemy’s raging eyes, Shin who was standing from afar was not bothered by that at all. He just exhaled a long sigh, glancing in another direction.

“They’re here? I thought I would have all one hundred thousand points for myself.”
