Chapter 207: The Parallel Night Part III
Chapter 207: The Parallel Night Part III
“Your plan? ...What plan?”
Tunwa raised his eyebrows, starting to realize that when they were about to get into Ouroboros’ dungeon, Nuch said that she had a plan for Na as well. Of course, Tun was not a fool. He knew right away that Nuch was plotting something. After that, the young man stared at his friend intensely.
“...Nuch, don’t tell me that you’re planning to set Na up with May?”
“Oops, my plan’s been exploded...?”
She acted surprised by covering her mouth with her hand, making Tunwa force up a wry smile.
“Are you crazy? This plan is dumb. Stop thinking about setting them up now, silly.”
“Why? How is it dumb?” Nuchjaree looked like she lost confidence.
“First of all, think about May’s feelings. How will she feel, if she finds out later that we use her as someone to comfort our friend’s broken heart? Second of all, what would Na think, when he knows that we use the plan to get him moved on from Orn?”
“Maybe they’d thank us later.”
“Come on!”
He yelled, hitting this troublemaker’s forehead slightly. She whined out, then glared at Tunwa.
“Just trust me on this, Tun. The plan will work. And my sense is sure that they really have feelings for each other. I guarantee you; no one will regret this ever.”
“Things get messed up every time you say that, Nuch.”
The man made a bored face, before looking away wearily.
And that was when he saw someone walking toward them, someone that made Tunwa elbow Nuchjaree harshly to stop her from talking about all this immediately!

“So, you start to understand the rules, now?”
Maysa said with a delighted voice. She closed down her window, while she was smiling sweetly like she was amused about the man who had no idea how to prepare himself at all.
“I think I do. ...But I’m still surprised that the event will be a marathon till 5 p.m. I guess it’ll be so exhausting,” he said, scratching his cheek.
“Well, you’re the one who asked for this, remember?”
Maysa teased with a playful expression. Then she scratched under the chin of the one sitting next to her who only made a hard snorting sound out of his nose.
“It can’t be helped that you’re the type that likes looking for troubles. But I’ve accepted that since the first time I asked you to join my party. So, I’m going to admit that this habit of yours kind of brings me fun every time as well.”
“Geez, you’re the one to say that. Why did you act like you didn’t want me to join the Hunting Gate at first, then?”
“I was worried about you.”
She said, and then started blushing uncontrollably that her mouth just admitted it so easily that she cared about the other so much. And hearing that, Wisana’s heart skipped a beat as well. He hurriedly looked away from her, because he felt his face turn hot just catching eyes with Maysa.
“There’s no need to worry about me. I’m sure I’ll be fine.”
The man started stuttering, still not daring to look her in the eyes.
“Yeah, ...well, I feel more relieved now, since you’ve improved a lot.”
And it was not like the girl would dare to look at him either. She was just staring at the ground like that.
The silence between them started to grow slowly until all they heard was the loud, cheerful noise coming from the party. Two bodies that were sitting so close felt a bit numb. They could smell the nice scent from each other, but there was not a sign that they would turn and look at each other at all.
“May, there you are. ...May, could you come with me, please? I have something to talk to you about.”
It was like a voice from heaven coming to break the silence. Right now, Nuchjaree was walking to them, before she bent down and pulled Maysa up softly by her arm.
“Me?” Maysa asked.
“Yup, come on. It’s girls’ stuff. Na can’t hear this.”
“You look very shady there, Nuch.”
Wisana glanced at his friend, before catching eyes with Maysa finally. He then curled up a soft knowing smile after he saw the slight blushing on the other’s face. And Maysa smiled back at him in reply as well.
“You go ahead and talk to her. I can continue reading the rules by myself here.”
He said softly, and Maysa nodded grudgingly in acknowledgment because she would rather stay here for a little longer, actually.
After the girls were out of Wisana’s sight, he let out a relieved sigh. Then he concentratedly opened his information window up, even though his heart was still beating like a drum in his chest.
His attractive face was blushing slightly when he thought about the soft sweet voice from a while ago. His heart felt strangely swelling as it was beating faster. It was a strange feeling, the one that he used to have a long time ago.
“Maybe it’s not it,” Wisana said to himself, exhaling a long sigh.
Then he hurriedly started pulling himself together to finish reading the information in front of him, so he could go to bed and get ready for the event tomorrow, ...with his heart still beating weird though.
“Er, ...Wisana.”
But he did not start doing any of that, because there was a sweet voice of a girl speaking up. His amber eyes looked up as his name was called, and it was surprising to see the girl in front. His fast-beating heart now weirdly calmed down now.
“Yes, Orn? What’s up? "He greeted her back with a smile.
“Well, I have something to talk to you about.”
----------------
“What’s going on here, Nuch?”
Maysa almost snapped at her right after she found out later that this boyish girl did not actually have anything to talk to her at all. Nuchjaree just wanted to get her out of there...
For what...?
Well, to get Warunya the chance to talk to Wisana alone definitely!
“Sorry to interrupt, but this is important, May. ...Orn was asking us to pull you out of there for a while.”
Tunwa was the one who walked in and explained everything.
However, Maysa did not like this anyway. This was why she made an upset face right now.
“Please understand this, May.” Nuchjaree tried to compromise with her.
“We’re sorry.” And Tunwa forced out a wry smile to apologize to Maysa again.
But the one who was listening to the explanation let out a long sigh. ...She knew what Warunya wanted to talk about with Wisana. She also knew so well why these two had to drag her all the way here. But damn, these people had picked such bad timing.
To say this kind of thing right before the Hunting Gate just one night?!!
“I know what Warunya’s gonna say.”
Maysa spoke up, while she was looking at Wisana and Warunya from afar. And her words made these people jump instantly before Nuchjaree hurriedly grabbed Maysa’s arm.
“It’s not like what you’re thinking, May. Don’t get her wrong.”
“Huh?” The one whose arm was grabbed raised her eyebrows.
“Orn’s not going to confess her love or anything like that, May. Don’t overthink it.”
The listener was blushing for the second time. She gazed at Nuchjaree intensely.
“I’m not worried about that. Why would I overthink it.”
“Huh?” The two troublemakers drawled their voices in unison.
“Trust me that I know what it’s really about.” Maysa sighed. “Warunya is about to tell Wisana the truth that she doesn’t like him and that she thought Vincent was the same guy that she had a crush on, right?”
Hearing her, these two looked at each other in the face for a second, before gasping, pointing at Maysa out of shock.
“How did you know about that?!!”
