Chapter 203: Belated Party Part IV
Chapter 203: Belated Party Part IV
“We don’t have to talk anymore, Nero,” Black said with a stiff voice. "We’re not going to be patient and wait for you two today. First, I let you have what you wanted, because I needed Vincent’s information and the help that you promised to give me. ...But that’s not going to happen anymore. If you don’t have that information for us now, don’t expect this will end with just all your EXP getting stolen.”
“All my EXP getting stolen, ...Haha.” Nero had a hard time holding back his laughter, unlike Allen who let out a sigh wearily.
“What’s so funny?!” Red was the one who shouted out loudly.
“My apologies, but it’s funny. ...Well, steal EXP huh? It’s adorable that item hunters like you would be doing such a thing.”
Hearing that, the item hunters looked like they just got splashed in their faces with some freezing water. Red, who already was the impulsive one, was about to come at Nero for a fight, but the blond-haired man held a hand up to stop him.
“Calm down, everyone.” He smiled widely. “If you want us to discuss some business together, let’s lower the weapons down a little, shall we? Or else, I won’t be able to give what every one of you wants.”
He said and held a minidisc up for everyone to see.
Black, who was closest to Nero, looked him in the eyes like he wanted to read through the other’s mind thoroughly.
“What is it?” Black asked.
“The thing that you’ve asked for, the information about the man named Vincent, including his abilities, levels, weaknesses, strong points, everything is in this disc already.”
Hearing that, the leader of the group curled up the corners of his lips in a smile instantly.
“Now, we’re talking.”
Nero smiled at the comments right away.
“And don’t worry about it, item hunters.” He spoke with a big smile. “...The time that you can go on a hunt is about to come in the next few hours. ...As promised, I’ll build an arena for you to hunt the man named Vincent without anyone else getting in the way.”

Back in the outside world, in room 808 on the 8th floor, Grand Villa condominiums. ...The clock’s hands on the wall were pointing at numbers to tell that it was 17.30 O’clock now. They also pointed out that the sky outside had changed into a darker color already. Inside the quiet condominium room, there was only the sound coming from the television occasionally.
The screen was showing a Korean drama that had the leading actor with a sweet-feminine face disguised as a woman to work at a coffee shop of the leading actress who was a strict and self-centered kind of person...
“Woah, he just accidentally bought too much coffee, there’s no need to scold him that harshly. This girl is such a pain.”
A bored complaint came from in front of the television. The gorgeous face was facing the screen intensely, looking like she was fed up with the selfish characteristics of the leading actress quite a lot. The slim girl was sitting with her knees up, hugging a small pillow. She had been watching this drama since noon. And Waree was not sure if it was because she got nothing else to do, or if it was actually enjoyable that she could stand watching it for this long.
Well, there was not this kind of genre to watch in the U.S. And who would have thought that the sassy one like her brother would watch a cute goofy show like this as well?
BEEP!
A moment later, the door’s lock beeped up loudly, making the emerald eyes turn at it happily. The slender figure jumped up on the sofa in the living room right away.
“What’s up with you, Tun? And what would you want me to do that for?”
Then the voice of the cheeky one came after the door was swung open. The tall man was holding his phone between his ear and shoulder, while his other hand was full of bags and stuff.
“You’re back, Na!”
The sister did not wait any longer. She jumped to him, clinging to his arm like she had not seen him for years.
Wisana smiled as he stroked his sister’s hair softly before using his foot to kick the door closed behind them with a loud bang. Then he carried on dragging his sister who refused to let go of his arm inside.
“Come on, you really like making things troublesome, you know.”
The young man spoke into the phone with a little annoyed expression on his face. And Waree knew right away that the one who was calling her brother right now was definitely named Tunwa.
“Tell Nuch that don’t do this kind of thing again.” Then he paused for a moment as he listened to the other end of the phone. “Yeah, okay, 9 p.m., got it. Yeah, I’ll handle that. Okay, see you.”
Then he hung up the phone and tossed it to the sofa, unbothered by it anymore.
“What was up with Tun?” His sister asked instantly.
“Oh, nothing much really. Just a little mess again.”
He said, and let out a soft sigh, looking at his sister who was clinging to him like a baby monkey now.
“And what’s up with you? I got back from work in Ngamwongwan, not in a war. Why are you acting so excited that I’m home like this?”
“Well, I was lonely. There’s nothing much to do here, and to play the game by myself is too boring.”
Hearing that, the older one smiled amusedly, glancing at the television that had a show going on the screen. And he smiled even more.
“So, you’ve been watching my Korean drama? ...Oh, the coffee princess is playing here. This is my favorite, you know?”
Waree chuckled at his words. Because how could she not, when most people who were into Korean dramas were girls, ...but how her brother was one of them, too?
And the older one was smiling amusedly, bringing his grocery shopping bags to the kitchen. ...At first, he was worried about Waree as well that he had to leave her at home alone for work, even though she was just back in Bangkok. ...But she seemed to be okay by herself and even pulled out his drama to watch and pass the time, too.
“Anyway, are you hungry? I bought a lot of stuff here.”
“Yes, I am. All day, I’ve only had that once.”
Then she pointed to a medium size bowl with an empty instant noodle package next to it. Seeing that, the older one slipped out a laugh, feeling amused about how unskilled his sister was at cooking. See, even Nam did not dare take the risk of eating her own food. But when it was about cooking for someone else, she would be more enthusiastic instantly.
“I’ll start making dinner, then.”
“Yeah!”
Hearing that, the sister smiled so brightly, as she ran to turn the television off right away, letting Wisana take off his outer shirt and leave only a short-sleeved T-shirt on. Next, Wisana managed to put on a yellow apron, with mister bear prints, out of habit.
“Good, let’s have dinner, so we can log in back into the game again. You also need to register for the Hunting Gate event at the Association of Hunters, right?”
Wisana paused at his sister’s words in the moment of him grabbing a pan out of the cabinet. And the second later, the tall man smiled knowingly, slipping a laugh.
“You’re right. I’ll just cook something easy then, so we can hurry and get back in the game.”
“Okay!”
Seeing his sister smile so happily like that, he started laughing even harder.
“What’s funny, Na?”
“Nothing much, really.” He replied, grabbing some eggs out of the refrigerator. “Actually, a while ago, Tun called to tell me to keep you out here as long as possible. He said don’t let you rush in the game until nine.”
“Keep me out? Why wouldn’t they want me in the game?”
The older one laughed amusedly, before walking up to knock his little sister’s head softly.
“He also told me not to tell you about this, though. So, I guess that they’re preparing you a surprise, but actually those guys...”
