Chapter 164: Unexpected Technique Part II

Chapter 164: Unexpected Technique Part II

BOOM!!

Shin and Waree did not finish their conversation, yet when Wisana and Lucy started moving again. And this time, it was Wisana who summoned his fire element sword out as he went straight right at the other instantly. So, Lucy was the one who leaped away in another direction, before running out of the battle like she wanted more space for them to fight.

Right now, they were running forward in a straight line as they took turns to attack and defend continuously.

“...They think they’re in some Indian film, or what? Chasing the other like that.”

Tunwa said jokingly, while he was watching his best friend who seemed to be getting fully heated up now.

“That’s just how speedy players are. The more space they have, the more ability they can perform.” Sander said.

“Na is smart though. He always looks for his opportunity.” Nuchjaree added.

“But don’t forget that Lucy is a speedy player as well.”

Right after Sander finished speaking, Wisana got an attack on his back and the damage points that popped out were up to 27,632 points! And that made Maysa hold a hand up to cover her mouth as she was scared for him.

Even though Lucy’s attack was a normal hit like punching, the damage it did was still huge. Not only that her level was a lot higher than his, but the magic she had blended with her strength was counted to make the damage more powerful.

“Damn it!”

The one who got attacked just now cursed, before swinging his sword to the back harshly. But he could only feel the wind blowing because Lucy appeared again in front of him and slapped his face softly. However, it caused 1,630 damage points to him!

Right now, Lucy was grinning annoyingly, while the one who got slapped was getting pissed a bit. So, he launched forward to attack out of losing his temper, making the blonde-haired girl laugh playfully.

“Now that you’re starting to attack back, too. ...Hihi, anyway, try to slash me for once, or it’ll be too boring!”

“...”

The one who got stirred up was speechless. It was not like he was too mad to think straight, but his brain was calculating so many things tangly at the same time. However, he was not a smart strategist like Maysa. So, the only thing he had to do right now was to figure out how to catch this horizontal rocket!

At that moment, the two figures were running into each other, taking turns to attack and defend. And their speed was getting faster and faster which made the observers’ eyes unable to keep up with the fighting now.

“...I ...I can’t see the fight anymore,” Nuchjaree said. Her voice was shaking.

“Did they come from Namek planet or what? If Na somehow bursts a beam out of his chest and his hair turns blond now, so... exactly.” Tunwa added.

“Tun, that’s a very old joke. Also, be careful about mentioning the other’s copyright!”

“What do you mean by old? Don’t you know that it’s been re-running on the channel...”

“That’s enough, you guys!”

It was Maysa who shouted out of frustration. The situation was getting worse, but these two were still bickering without even realizing it, and they were so close to violating someone else’s copyright, too!

Right now, she was very worried about some troublemaker somehow. It was true that she agreed to have Wisana take the test from Mister Sander just a little bit. And she thought that his skills had not improved that much, so he would not pass the test surely.

But at this point, she was not sure if her decision was right or wrong anymore. Because apart from not passing the test, this guy would possibly get sent straight to the hospital after, too...

And after they had just reunited!

“...This battle.”

It was Sander’s voice that spoke up, sounding like he was talking to himself.

“The faster one wins.”

Hearing that, everyone looked at each other. Before Maysa let out a long sigh.

“What makes you think that?” Tunwa asked.

“Well, the strongest weapon of those speedy players is their speed, right? So, what would happen if they met an opponent who has faster speed than them?”

Sander had not even finished speaking yet when Wisana bounced off to the ground and started sliding as he wrapped around his painful stomach and coughed!

Finally, the speed fighting had ended...

And the winner was Lucy, no doubt!

“Wisana!” Maysa shouted.

But the owner of the name from afar just waved his hand to stop everyone who was about to come in to help. He also smiled at them, implying that he had not given up yet!

“You’ve not given up, have you?” Lucy asked.

She showed up in everyone’s eyes with sparks illuminating around her. It was obvious that this guy had forced her in this difficult fight to use her power to the maximum, even though the opponent had lower levels than her.

“I have a term of condition to meet. So, don’t mind me if I insist on fighting.”

Hearing what Wisana said, Lucy slipped out a laugh.

“No, I don’t mind that at all.” She replied with a sweet smile. “But you seem to be like those slow-burn type players, don’t you?”

The young man paused as he struggled to get up on his feet again.

Luckily that he got some of his levels upgraded earlier, or he would have been saying hello to the god of death surely. He thought, before commanding Jinnie to open his information window to check about something...

Status Window

Player’s name: Wisana

Class: Magic Warrior

Level: 48

HP: 7,681/85,000

“This doesn’t look good.”

He said with his face getting a little paler. ...Right now, he had just a few health points left. So, if he got hit directly one more time, he would never be able to get up again for sure.

He thought to himself, while he was looking around. ...The place was a clearing field without any barrier or hiding place nearby, so he had to cut the choice to come up with some tricky strategy. But to attack her directly was a depressing fact for him as his skill could not compare to hers at all. If he wanted to win, he needed to come up with a strange tactic...which he could not come up with at all, because he was on the edge right now!

His brain was working on figuring out a plan, as he glanced at the opponent.

Seeing Wisana’s last effort, Lucy felt grateful, amused, and adored it so much... She admitted that he really had skills. But another fact was that he was still just a cute little kitten. This boy needed some more time to grow into a lion.

“You can drink some HP potion if you like. That’ll be a slack from me.”

Lucy said, pointing at Wisana’s information window.

“That’s very kind of you.” He replied smilingly. “...Unlike Lala, she would never give me a break.”

“Yes, I’m always kind.”

Hearing that, he slipped out a laugh. ...The always kind one who punched and kicked him with every technique she had like that. Even though he was trying to defend some of them now, he still almost got beaten the crap out of his HP bar!

“I think it’s time that we should take it seriously now, Mister Wisana.”

That was the first time Lucy called his name. She was stretching her fingers as a sign that her next attack would not be soft like the previous one anymore.

“I don’t mind if you drink some HP potion to keep you alive for a little while longer. But let me warn you of something. My next attack... can literally kill you.”

After her words, she held her hands up in front of her, before many beams of light started gathering in and turning into a small ball between her palms.

This skill... he knew it so well!

That was the skill that he used to finish Lord Inferno. Charging the elements in hands, before using them to end the enemy in one hit.

Pierce Charge.

“Lucy’s about to finish the battle.”

Sander said with a serious voice before he stretched his neck left and right like he was getting ready to do something.

“...Mister Sander, what are you doing?”
