Chapter 128: The 7 Curses Part II
Chapter 128: The 7 Curses Part II
“Well, I’m kind of good at this, too. One hit, one kill, huh.”
“No, you’re not. Don’t flatter yourself too much.” An annoying voice came after that with the sound of clapping. When Wisana turned in the voice’s direction, he saw Waree smiling at him joyfully, unlike the kid standing next to her. Angela was sending him a mocking look as usual.
“You just can’t stop nagging at me, right? Go away. We’re not officially party, aren’t we?”
“Sure. If a 140-level player fools around with a low-level player like you, I don’t think my level would go up again in this lifetime.” The listener could only clench his teeth furiously at the insult.
“I remember that you’re an American, aren’t you? So, how can you find these burning Thai words to insult me so fluently?”
“I just say what I see.” She replied, before tilting her chin up and turning her face away, making the other one’s fists clench.
Damn... just wait for his turn. This brat!
“But I think that your skill is excellent. I’ve seen you use it many times, and it seems that the fist destruction is the most suitable skill for you. The spell casting is short. There’s no skill delaying. The attack is strong. And, the thicker the enemy’s armor is, the more damage it will cause, too.”
“I like it, too,” Wisana replied with a grin, feeling so glad that he had Waree traveling with him.
Because this was how a sister should be, always being supportive of her brother like this, unlike... He thought, before looking down at Angela, the evil kid who looked up to catch eye with him at the same time. So, he smiled at her and let out a snorting laugh.
“W... What are you laughing at? What’s so funny about my face?”
“Nothing.” He ignored her, turning in another direction unbothered. And his sister just let out a dry laugh at that.
“Na, can you open your information window?”
“Why?”
“Just do it. I’ll show you something before you continue hunting.”
The older one scratched his head confusedly but proceeded to do as he was told anyway. The pair of golden-brown eyes were skimming through his information on the screen until they caught on the player’s personal information menu.
“This is...”
“Yes, that’s the one that I wanted to show you.”

“Hunter points, I get it, this window appears when we sign up as a member of the association, right?” Wisana turned to ask his sister, and she nodded in response smilingly. Then she pointed to the last sentence that said, trade points with items, to him.
“What’s about this one?”
“It’s an automatic trading system to trade your points with the guild’s items. So, you don’t need to go to the guild office to do it.”
“Oh, that’s a nice service, deliver it right to the inventory.” He said delightedly. Then he pressed on that button and there was another window popped open, showing the list of items he could trade with his current points. However, there were only some common potions and lame design accessories, like this pink bandana with Hello Kitty print on it.
“Come on, who would trade their points with these kinds of things? That’ll be a waste of the collecting points.” Wisana made a sour face, making Waree let out a laugh at that. As well as Angela who could hardly pretend to cough in time, because she almost lost it at his weird facial expression just now.
“Well, you only have 1,200 hunter points right now. So, these are all you can trade with. Also, there’re no rare items here. You need to make a trade at the office.”
“They do this to prevent the hackers from stealing from the system, right?” The brother nodded in understanding, while he was looking at the screen again.
“The monster from earlier only dropped 1,200 points, it was a Steel rank, wasn’t it?”
“Correct. The monsters around this area are Steel rank.” Waree replied joyfully, then she brought out a window screen with a map and showed it to Wisana. The map was highly detailed, showing the area of Dores that was divided into zones, and each one was highlighted with different colors. Their current location was in a white area.
“The green zone is where the Steel rank is?” He asked.
“Yes, so is the white zone. The yellow zone is for silver rank, and the red is for gold rank.” Wisana placed a hand under his mouth, while he was trying to catch up with her explanation. He looked over the image in front of him. The white zone he was standing in took most of the space, but if he walked further for about 20 kilometers, the colors would change according to the difficulty of the monsters.
However, there was a zone that was not included in Waree’s lecture. He narrowed his eyes, before poking at the spot on the map right away.
“Nam, what about this black zone on the top?” Waree paused at his question. She glanced over at Angela for a second. The mage kept her straight face before her thin lips answered clearly and brightly.
“The black highlight is the deadliest zone.”
“Deadliest zone?” Wasana repeated confusedly.
“The spot hardly has visitors. It’s well known among hunters as a forbidden zone. If someone actually goes there, it means that they’re already prepared to lose.” Her words got the man’s attention immediately. When Waree saw the spark in those golden eyes, she just could not help but get scared.
“Angie.” She scolded.
“It’s okay. He’ll find out about it eventually anyway. So, sooner or later, this guy will get himself in trouble as always.” The woman could not argue with her different-aged friend. And the one who was gossiped about in his face frowned at this brat’s words.
“What do you mean? Are you insulting me again?!”
“I’m not insulting you. Or would you not be interested, if I said that the black zone is where the local boss lives?” Her words made the one who was getting ready to provoke a kid stunned right away. The tall man turned to look at Waree, who just now patted on her forehead like she was so fed up with Angela’s habit so much.
“Did you just say boss?” He asked with an excited voice.
“Yes, Ouroboros, the hardest boss of the northern part, the one that guy from the office is going to hunt.”
Shin...
That was the first name that came across his mind. He remembered the guy that he had paid attention to was going to hunt Ouroboros or something. So, it meant that the black area was where to find the boss.
And, if he went there, he might find the guy, too. Wisana thought as he curled up a smirk.
“Is that true, Nam?” He tasked his sister with an enthusiastic voice.
“Er... well,” Waree stuttered, but then she saw his eyes sparkling determinedly, the woman sighed giving up. “Yes, Na. The black area is the most dangerous spot, in other words, it’s where bosses live.”
The answer made the listener grin, while he was measuring the distance on the map excitedly.
“The distance between here and the black area is approximately ...60 kilometers. If we travel by foot and alternately by riding the birds, we’ll get there in a couple of days.” He said like he was talking to himself, while he was having fun imagining this challenging trip in his head. And Waree jumped really hard from seeing him being like that.
“Wait, Na, hold on. Who said that we’re going to the mountains?”
“I did, just now. We’re going to the mountains. I just suddenly feel like going there somehow. My instinct tells me that there’s something fun waiting for us up there.” He said unconcernedly and gave her a teeth-showing grin, making the sister turn pale. And Angela just rolled her eyes, like she had already expected it.
“No, no, we’re not. It’s too dangerous. Ouroboros is not a shoddy boss. It’s even stronger than Lord Inferno for who knows how many times!”
“Oh, isn’t that great?”
