Chapter 122 - 353
Chapter 122 - 353
353!
That was Ye Jun’s rank after he fought a total of six duels consecutively. All without using his Mysterious Techniques properly. Every single duel he won using his opponent’s techniques or through simple martial arts.
The audience was so shocked by his performance that they called many other disciples and even Elders.
All watched his battles. Curious. Excited. Shocked.
During this, Ye Jun pushed himself past his limits as he was already too exhausted by the fourth battle. Yet he continued and even won against higher-ranked opponents.
That alone cemented his position in everyone’s hearts.
Especially the new disciples who slowly began to look up to him. He was their idol, standing up against the unjust seniors and then thrashing them.
They got motivated seeing him fighting with a blood, sweat and soot-covered body with half-torn red robes. He was like a bloodthirsty demon.
Even Zhuxin couldn’t help but be impressed. He had never met an opponent like Ye Jun before. Even if he could kill him easily at the moment, he was also sure he couldn’t replicate feats like his.
It impressed him, made him respect Ye Jun for a bit, but his hatred for him was higher. He loved his family the most, so the mere sight of his sister being bloodied all over shredded any pieces of sanity in him.
On the other hand, Mountain had a proud smile on his face, which showed some of his fang-like teeth.
Beside him, He Wenxin stood stunned on her spot. She still couldn’t believe this person she had randomly acquainted with would be so ridiculous.
Who would believe that a Fifth-Stage Qi Condensation Realm Cultivator defeated a Seventh-Stage Qi Condensation Realm Cultivator after having five rough battles?
Yet, Ye Jun had done just that, shocking many to the core.
However, what truly made them interested was his ability of learning Mysterious Techniques of others through simple methods of observation.
They found it ridiculous too.
Nonetheless, the most ridiculous thing at the moment was he himself, standing at the centre of the arena. The floor had turned messy, coloured deep blood red. His body was no different. They oddly complemented each other.
Even after everything that happened, Ye Jun stood straight on his feet, facing the boundless blue sky. A soft smile played on his lips, one corner bleeding because of a deep cut.
’I did it!’
He wanted to scream and celebrate, but was in no position to do so. He really had pushed himself too far and could barely move. But he refused to let go, despite every cell of his being demanding rest.
"Ye Jun!" Zhuxin shouted, which drew everyone’s attention. "Are you ready to fight your seventh battle?"
Before Ye Jun could even respond, the disciples began cursing him.
"How shameless is he? Asking him to fight again."
"Yes. I knew the Law Enforcement Hall were just bullies who are too arrogant because of their power."
"Hmph! Junior Brother, don’t listen to his nonsense. Come to Big Sister’s house today, I promise you’ll be completely healed by tomorrow."
"Wait! Why is she getting down below? Did she piss herself?"
"Idiot! That’s just a lustful demon disguised as a woman. Don’t fall for the demoness."
"Yes, Senior Brother Ye Jun, she’s a demoness. Don’t listen to her, she’ll suck you dry. Come to me, I can help you better."
"I am pretty sure he is strong enough to take all five of us sisters at once."
"Fellow brothers and sisters, you are ignoring the point. Curse that bastard to death!"
At first, even the Elders frowned at Zhuxin’s words. But their mood changed once they heard the disciples’ words aimed at him.
"Yes, I hope you accidentally send your Qi to your lower parts and burst your balls."
"Ah! I remember him! He had sex with one of my friends and she said she was very disappointed by his size. He also called her mother midway."
"What the hell! What kind of degeneracy is hidden beneath the Law Enforcement Hall?"
"Doesn’t matter. I still hope he finds a treasure in the wild and has to fight for days for it, only for it to get swallowed by some random beast."
"Would be fun if someone’s arrow stuck in his eyes, or maybe nose?"
"Other options are available, like the backside?"
"Ahhhh! I shuddered thinking of the pain."
Zhuxin almost stumbled forward hearing all that nonsense. What the hell? Why was he suddenly getting so many wrong allegations?
He wanted to turn around and lash out at them. Since when did he do all that? Also, what kind of curses were they giving him? He was so annoyingly curious how they grew up to be this obnoxious.
"Shut up!" he shouted at them. "It’s none of your business, so stay out of it."
He turned back at Ye Jun and asked, "So, what about it? Didn’t you say you never reject any challenges?"
"I did?" Ye Jun scratched his head, though it proved to be painful. Very painful. "No, Senior Brother. I think you heard it wrongly. Please, get an apothecary to check you."
Zhuxin almost coughed up blood hearing that. Bloody hell! This man’s shamelessness knew no bounds! He was denying the statement he said only an hour or two ago!!
Ye Jun turned slowly towards the audience and asked, "Did I say it?"
"No. Not really."
"You didn’t even speak, brother."
"Yes, I thought you were mute for a second."
Ye Jun rolled his eyes hearing their comments. ’They are more shameless than me. Still, at least some seniors are also on my side.’
Not all of them. Not even the majority. But some of them, and that was a good start. After all, he wanted opponents, but that didn’t mean he was going to have the entire sect as enemies.
’Aghh! The headache.’
Ye Jun rubbed his head slowly and said, "In any case, I had fun today. I’ll ask you for the same next time. Thank you, Senior Brother. I look forward to the next session already."
"You!!!" Zhuxin screamed. "Come back here! My sister still hasn’t gotten her justice and I won’t sit still till she gets it."
"Zhuxin!" Third Seat’s calm voice instantly silenced the area, as he stared at him with his deep black eyes. "That is enough. If you continue to bring down the Law Enforcement Hall’s name, the Captain will personally kick you out."
He stepped into the arena and continued, "I am sure you don’t want that. So back off. As for your so-called justice, you will not get it today, not in his condition."
Zhuxin clenched his fists, feeling utterly frustrated at the situation. Especially since he knew he shouldn’t let him get time to grow stronger.
But he also knew Third Seat actually meant well for him as his superior.
If he continued on, only he would lose.
"Consider yourself lucky," he spat near Ye Jun and said. "But only for today. The next time we see each other, you will face justice."
With that, he stormed off the stage.
A silence followed as Third Seat came to help Ye Jun. He knew Ye Jun couldn’t stand properly, so he tried to provide support.
"You are a very mysterious person," Third Seat said quietly near him. "I’m very interested in you now. Very curious to know how you do everything."
"No offense, Senior Brother, but I’m into women, not men. Sexy women," Ye Jun quickly said.
"I don’t even want to know what nonsensical stuff goes on in your head," Third Seat shook his head, taking Ye Jun’s arm as he then supported him.
"Well, thank you. I’m happy everyone liked my performance," Ye Jun tried to give him a weak smile.
"Yes, but why are you doing all of this?" Third Seat asked, as he was really curious.
"Heh! Check my cultivation base," Ye Jun said softly.
Since he was already standing beside him, Third Seat sent a strand of Qi inside Ye Jun and his eyes widened in mild surprise. "You broke through?"
"Yes, I was stuck at a bottleneck, so I used these fights to pressure myself and achieve the next stage," Ye Jun replied. "Besides, I also got so many Mysterious Techniques for free."
"I see. Reckless plan, but I’m glad it worked. Or rather, you made it work. So well done," Third Seat praised him honestly.
Ye Jun didn’t say anything.
Meanwhile, the whole audience was watching him, looking at their idol, the man whose fame spread all over the sect.
Mountain was the first to start clapping, then others followed him and began giving him a round of applause. Even Elders nodded in satisfaction.
