Chapter 600 - 592: She’s definitely faking it! (5)

Such a curious little look, utterly adorable.

Ji Chicheng gazed at her, his eyes brimming with tenderness and a touch more indulgence as he said, "Mommy has fallen asleep."

"Mommy little pig." Fenfen shrank her neck, giggling ’giggle giggle.’

Ji Chicheng nodded, "Mmm, Mommy is a little lazy pig."

As his gaze returned to Ji Anning, it was tinged with added gentleness and a trace of helplessness.

Ji Anning was half-drunk, half-awake. Ji Chicheng, with one hand supporting her and the other holding Fenfen, still managed it with ease.

The valet had already brought the car to the restaurant entrance to wait for him. First, he opened the rear door of the car, helped Ji Anning in, and then placed Fenfen into the safety seat.

"Mr. Ji."

Just as Ji Chicheng was about to close the car door, a familiar voice called out to him from behind.

He straightened up, and a tall woman with a slight smile walked towards him, her deep blue eyes dazzling even with a hint of drunkenness.

She looked at Ji Chicheng’s handsome face, making no attempt to hide her admiration for him.

Ji Chicheng said, "Miss Korea, the waiter said you drank more than a bottle out of the two, let’s call it one bottle. Two hundred thousand—transfer it to this account later."

As he spoke, he took out his phone, found Korea’s mobile number, and sent her a bank account number.

His slender fingers operated the device adeptly.

The color drained momentarily from the beautiful face of Korea, but she still tried to address Ji Chicheng in a joking tone, "Mr. Ji, you’re being a bit too stingy, aren’t you?"

After all, she was a noble young lady, outstanding in every aspect. To be so bluntly rebuffed by a man—especially one she admired—was harsh.

It was hard for her to save face.

But the man she faced was the unyieldingly proud Ji Chicheng, whom she had researched thoroughly before formally cooperating with him, and understood even better after they began their business dealings.

This man couldn’t be swayed by neither soft nor tough methods; he seemed to have no weaknesses.

"After all, it’s two hundred thousand, not twenty dollars." Ji Chicheng put away his phone, hands plunged into the pockets of his trousers, his expression serious, showing no signs of jest.

To him, two hundred thousand might as well have been twenty dollars.

Korea’s face flushed red and then pale, and just as she was overwhelmed with embarrassment, a slightly plump woman smilingly approached them.

As she walked, she looked at Korea and asked, "Korea, is this your friend?"

The woman appeared to be under fifty, with a mixed Eastern and Western heritage. She was dressed lavishly and stopped beside Korea, turning her gaze to Ji Chicheng.

Upon seeing Ji Chicheng’s face, a look of shock spread across the woman’s face.

"Mommy." The arrival of her mother relieved Korea of the earlier awkwardness. She pointed at Ji Chicheng and introduced him to her mother, "Mom, let me introduce you. This is Mr. Ji, the superb gentleman I mentioned to you, the president of Beautiful City."

Then she pointed to her mother and introduced her to Ji Chicheng, "Mr. Ji, this is my mother, Rudy Finn."

Ji Chicheng’s gaze swept indifferently across Rudy Finn’s face and was about to take his leave when suddenly Rudy Finn pointed at his face, looking very excited, "He... What is your name?"

Becoming aware of her mother’s unusual behavior, Korea quickly asked, "Mommy, his full name is Ji Chicheng. Do you know Mr. Ji?"

"Ji Chicheng." Rudy Finn murmured Ji Chicheng’s name, her eyes locking onto him with a hint more inquiry, "Are you a citizen of M country?"
