Chapter 378 - 372 The Little Boat of Friendship (Part 1)
Ji Chicheng looked at her empty hands and asked in confusion, "Did you not bring any luggage?"
"Oh right." Ji Anning then remembered her luggage, "My suitcase is still outside."
As she turned around to fetch it, Ji Chicheng stopped her, "You go inside first."
"Okay."
Ji Anning nodded and entered to change her shoes.
The spacious living room had simple furniture and decorations, identical to Ji Chicheng’s apartment in Hai City, without any unnecessary ornaments.
As Ji Anning looked around, suddenly a fluffy object jumped down from the sofa and darted to her feet.
’Ah!’
Caught off guard, she screamed and jumped away.
At that moment, Ji Chicheng arrived with her suitcase, "What happened?"
"Is this..." Ji Anning pointed at the fluffy object that had also been startled by her and run far away, took a closer look, and she was still not sure about its identity, "Is this a dog?"
She pointed at the fluffy object and asked Ji Chicheng.
Ji Chicheng nodded, "Yes."
Knowing Ji Anning had been scared by the dog, his tense expression faded. After entering the house, he placed the suitcase beside the sofa, then he took off his coat, rolled up his sleeves, and entered the kitchen.
Ji Anning followed him to the kitchen door and stopped. She leaned on the doorframe, watching him leisurely put on an apron.
The scene drastically changed, suddenly transforming from an aloof young man to a domestic warm man.
It was quite a pleasant sight.
Watching him, Ji Anning couldn’t help but become infatuated; Ji Chicheng suddenly turned his head and glanced at her, "Go take a shower."
He instructed her, then his gaze returned to the eggs frying in the pan.
"I haven’t eaten yet, why should I take a shower?" Ji Anning pouted and acted coquettishly.
It was just the two of them in this house, and far away in a foreign country, she felt less pressure and worry, so she became uninhibited.
Ji Chicheng said, "Once you are done, I will also be done."
"Then I’m going to take a shower." Ji Anning nodded and turned to walk away.
There were several rooms on the second floor, she pushed open the first two doors; both rooms were empty. Upon opening the third door, she finally found a familiar feeling, and a familiar fragrance also wafted towards her.
The layout of the room, even the colors of the curtains and the bedding, were exactly like those in his room in Hai City.
She entered the room and went straight into the bathroom to take a shower.
Without taking any clothes, she came out wrapped in a bath towel, opened the suitcase, and found her pajamas, shaking them out.
They were blue-striped with simple cartoon patterns on the chest.
She was unfastening the towel wrapped around her when the door suddenly opened, and the man’s gaze unexpectedly looked her way.
Ji Anning was startled for a moment before she realized, and immediately bent down to pick up the towel from the floor, preparing to rewrap herself.
"Too late."
Ji Chicheng said expressionlessly and his tall figure rapidly closed in.
Ji Anning stepped back, clutching the towel tightly and looked at the approaching man with a terrified face, "Uncle, I’m starving. I haven’t eaten yet."
Ji Chicheng reached her, stretching out his hand to wrap it around her waist, pressing her tender body tight against his.
Then he looked down at her, a wicked smile playing on his lips, "Eat me first."
As he spoke, he bent down and captured Ji Anning’s slightly parted lips in a kiss.
Ji Anning’s towel slipped off, presenting her naked form to the man’s eyes, his handsome eyes under the dim light, indescribably enchanting.
