Otome Game Mob Villain

Chapter 560

Chapter 560

"But you've only seen that in my memories, right?"

"Nah, I can recreate taste memories too. I know exactly what it tastes like."

As he narrowed his eyes and smiled, Gabriel charged at him with a demonic expression.

"You bastard...?! You, you, you, you, you bastard! I won't forgive you, I won't forgive you!"

A wave of demonic energy surged around him, and the screams of the mercenaries echoed through the electric field.

"Looks like we don't have much time. I'm counting on you, Mini-Red."

"Leave it to me. I'll do what I can."

"Alright, let's go."

I swung a massive boulder with all my might and slammed it down.

Amidst the cloud of dust, I used the electric field to locate Gabriel and hurled the boulder at him.

However, Gabriel shattered the boulder with his greatsword and charged through the dust.

"You think this is enough to blind me?"

Gabriel swung his greatsword and the snake heads, quickly dispersing the dust.

"Yeah, that's right. You stopped in your tracks, didn't you?"

The memory left in the dust laughed mockingly.

Gabriel roared, "Shut up, brat!" and unleashed a series of sword techniques in coordination with the snake heads.

It seems like he's getting better at handling the snake heads.

The memory focused on dodging while casting tree and earth attribute magic at the snake heads and Gabriel's face, but it didn't seem to do much damage.

"You're a creation of Zero, born from magic. Then, you shall become my sustenance."

"Sorry, but I have no intention of being absorbed by a creep like you."

"Still acting tough. But Zero abandoned you and ran away, didn't he?"

Gabriel snorted and glanced around, but he couldn't see me in his field of vision.

But from my perspective, I could see everything they were doing.

(Memory, sorry for the wait. I'm ready .)

(Got it.)

As soon as I shared my vision through telepathy, Memory leaped back to create distance.

"I won't let you escape!"

"That's my line."

As Memory snapped his fingers with a fearless smile, Gabriel's feet sank into the ground.

"W-what?!"

Gabriel, thrown off balance by the sudden change, looked down at his feet in shock.

The once solid ground had turned into a muddy swamp, trapping his feet.

Then, vines created by tree attribute magic began to bind Gabriel's arms, legs, and the snake heads.

"Wha...?! But do you think this is enough to stop me...?"

"Don't be surprised just yet."

Before Gabriel could finish, Memory coldly declared, and the vines binding him and the snake heads froze, strengthening the restraints.

Furthermore, a lightning strike erupted, completely immobilizing Gabriel.

"Y-you...! How many attributes can you wield?!"

"Who knows? Why don't you count them yourself?"

Memory narrowed his eyes and smiled at Gabriel, who was writhing in agony with wide eyes.

"Zero, I'll leave the finishing blow to you."

"Got it."

Hearing my voice, Gabriel looked around but couldn't spot me.

"W-where are you? Where are you hiding?!"

"Above you."

"W-what...?!"

Looking up, Gabriel's eyes widened in shock.

From high above, a faint green mist of magical energy rose from my body.

This state is a combination of wind attribute aptitude and Body Enhancement: Second Form, which I named "Body Attribute Enhancement: Gale."

When activated, the user is enveloped in wind magic, enhancing the power of wind attribute spells and movement speed, and allowing short-distance, short-duration flight by manipulating nearby air currents.

The mana consumption is even higher than "Blazing Flame," so my previous self wouldn't have been able to use it due to insufficient mana.

By the way, I got the idea when I saw Chris's older brother, "Mighty," flying using wind attribute magic.

But just copying him seemed boring.

So, I decided to combine wind attribute aptitude with Body Enhancement: Second Form, and after some busy days of research and development, I completed this spell.

I activated Gale just a moment ago.

When I stirred up the dust and threw the boulder to distract Gabriel.

I left Memory to handle him while I retrieved the rapier in my right hand.

Then, I soared into the sky and began gathering the mana needed to defeat him.

"A gale will pierce through you."

Releasing the mana, I descended like a storm, wrapped in raging winds, and thrust the rapier into the glowing orb in Gabriel's chest.

The sound of glass and metal clashing rang out sharply, and a storm of wind and demonic energy raged.

"Y-you can even wield wind attribute magic?! Nooo?!"

As Gabriel grimaced in pain, cracks spread across the orb.

Soon, with a sound like shattering glass, the orb broke apart, and mana spilled out uncontrollably.

"This is the Gale Flash."

Confirming that the orb had completely shattered, I kicked off Gabriel's chest and leaped back.

"N-no way! This can't be! My mana, my maaaana?!"

A scream echoed, and in the next moment, an explosion, likely due to mana overload, erupted from Gabriel's chest, accompanied by a deafening roar.

The mana that spilled from the orb began returning to the mercenaries.

Though, they were all naked, which was a bit awkward.

Just to be safe, I used the electric field to check on the mercenaries. They seemed quite weakened.

But it didn't look like their lives were in danger.

"Zero. It seems your prediction was right."

"Yeah. But we can't let our guard down yet."

As I answered Memory, I glared at the shadow stirring in the smoke.

"Y-you bastard! I am the man who will surpass Elba... Elba Grandork! I won't end here, I won't end here!"

Staggering out of the smoke, dragging his greatsword, Gabriel appeared, his body covered in wounds and burns, utterly battered.

At his words, Memory shrugged and snorted.

"Talking about surpassing Elba while relying on others' power is laughable."

"What did you say...?!"

Gabriel glared at him with a demonic expression, and I returned the glare.

"I don't acknowledge Elba Grandork's actions. But he climbed to the top using only his own strength. You, on the other hand, absorbed others' mana to grow stronger. That's not real strength."

"Stop spouting nonsense. This world is survival of the fittest. The winner is right, the loser is wrong. The means don't matter. All that matters is winning."

"Then why did you lose?"

"Guh...?!"

At my remark, Gabriel grimaced and bit his lower lip.

"You failed to objectively assess your own strength, neglected your training, and relied on easy power. That's why you lost."

"No, not yet. I haven't lost yet. As long as I'm alive, I haven't lost."

Gabriel slowly raised his greatsword, but his legs wobbled, and his body swayed.

"Fine. Then this will be the end."

I won't kill him.

There are things I want to ask, including about the emerald orb.

I raised my rapier and leaped forward, unleashing Gale Flash.

Without charging it, the power was significantly weaker than before.

With this strike, I aimed to destroy the greatsword and knock Gabriel out with a punch to the solar plexus.

But the next moment, a figure appeared in my line of sight.

"Sorry, but I can't let you do that."

"What...?!"

I quickly pulled back my rapier and stopped, as a storm of wind and demonic energy raged around us.

Looking at the person who appeared, I noticed wings on their back.

Probably a bird person, but their face was hidden behind a bird-like beak mask and hood, giving them an eerie appearance.

They were small in stature, possibly even smaller than my usual form.

Their voice was muffled, but from the tone, it seemed likely they were a girl.

But something felt off.

The mana I sensed through the electric field reminded me of Aria and the others, and the name of a certain girl flashed through my mind.
