Chapter 342 342: The Future Of The Revolutionary Army

After the brief meeting ended, everyone immediately set out to prepare the required Den Den Mushi and deliver them to various locations.

Sabo had just stood up to leave when he was stopped.

"Wait, Sabo. Stay for a moment."

He paused, then nodded. Once everyone else left, he followed Dragon to a deserted cliff.

Dragon looked at him and asked, "How is Bonney doing?"

Sabo let out a soft sigh. "Still the same. Kuma's death and the destruction of the Sorbet Kingdom hit her too hard. She only thinks about revenge now.

"Luckily, our current momentum is strong. I promised her that when we attack the Holy Land, I'll take her with us. That's the only reason she's calmed down for now. She trains hard every day."

Dragon fell silent.

"Sigh…"

He shook his head and stopped thinking about it. Then he reached into his coat, took out a stack of blueprints, and handed them over.

Sabo flipped through them, confused. "This is… a warship design?"

The seagull emblem on it clearly belonged to the Marines. But ships like this didn't exist in the Four Blues. They were only found in the Grand Line.

Dragon nodded. "That's right. These are Marine warships. The core is the seastone coating on the hull. That's what allows them to cross the Calm Belt."

Sabo's eyes widened as he inhaled sharply. "Hiss! In that case… we won't have to worry about the Grand Line being hard to break through."

Cutting across from both sides of the seas into the first half of the Grand Line would be far easier than entering through Reverse Mountain and conquering island by island.

Dragon looked at him. "Exactly. This is critical. Select some shipwrights and take them with you. Go to fully industrialized islands and modify the ships to suit our needs. I'll handle the seastone."

After all, Marine warships were extremely expensive. They were specially built in Water 7, so replicating them exactly would not be worth the cost.

"For now, slowing the offensive won't raise suspicion. They don't know we'll be using a new set of Den Den Mushi, which gives us room to operate. Produce as many ships as possible in the shortest time.

"Once we fully take over the Four Blue, we'll split into two forces. One will advance from Reverse Mountain to draw the World Government's attention. The other will cross the Calm Belt from the Four Blues and strike Mariejois directly…"

Some time later, Sabo had already left with his mission.

Dragon stood at the peak of the cliff, looking at the distant smoke rising into the sky as his thoughts drifted far away.

To be honest, he had little confidence in overthrowing the World Government. The more he learned, the more terrifying it seemed. An organization that had ruled the world for eight hundred years, with the power to destroy islands across the globe in an instant…

How many secrets were hidden atop the towering Red Line was still unknown.

The Revolutionary Army's foundation was still too shallow. They didn't have enough top fighters. Splitting their forces and directly attacking Mariejois was the only option left.

Regardless of the choice, it would be a slow death. They might as well gamble.

That weapon that could instantly destroy islands was unlikely to be used in Mariejois itself. And besides… the Revolutionary Army was not the only force that wanted to bring down the World Government.

From Dragon's past conversations with Vegapunk, the scientist believed that Sakazuki was the one who could truly change the world. If they failed, then under Sakazuki's leadership, the Marines would inevitably clash with the World Government.

It was hard to say who would win, but by now, the Revolutionary Army's ideals and seeds had already spread across the Four Blues. No matter which side emerged victorious, they would not be able to erase the awareness of the people. The world would inevitably become better…

So now, the Revolutionary Army's main task was no longer just to overthrow the World Government or eliminate those nobles. It was to spread their ideals across the entire world. That way, even if they failed, their ideas would remain.

And no matter whether the Marines or the World Government won, if they wanted to regain the people's recognition, they would have no choice but to build new policies based on those ideals and improve upon them. Otherwise, no one in this world would accept them.

As he thought about it, Dragon suddenly let out a self-mocking laugh and shook his head.

Before the final battle had even begun, he was already thinking about what would happen after death.

"So this is as far as I can go…"

He turned into a gust of wind and vanished.

East Blue, an unknown sea.

On a small sailing boat, a roar suddenly rang out:

"You idiot!! Who said you could hang a pirate flag on my ship!!!"

"Ah! Sorry, sorry! But a pirate crew should have a pirate flag!"

"Who said we're a pirate crew!!!"

Inside the cabin, Johnny and Yosaku opened their sleepy eyes and looked at each other helplessly.

"Here we go again…"

They slowly got up, yawning as they walked out. On deck, the carefree boy with the straw hat was once again secretly putting up a pirate flag, only to be chased down by Zoro.

Johnny couldn't help but doubt their decision. He turned to Yosaku with a suspicious look.

"Hey… that idiot… does he really know someone like Shanks? No way, right…"

Yosaku sighed. "Who knows… Becoming the world's greatest swordsman is Zoro's obsession. And right now, there's someone who might know Shanks. That could save a lot of trouble. It's better than having no hope at all.

"The war between pirates and the Marines in the New World is getting more intense. Who knows when that world's greatest swordsman might die? That's why Zoro's so anxious."

He shook his head, then turned toward the kitchen.

"Come on, let's cook."

Johnny shrugged and followed him in.

The noise on deck still hadn't stopped…

Bang! Bang! Bang!

After a while, Zoro sat on the deck, leaning against the railing and breathing heavily.

"Huff… huff…"

He glanced at Luffy, who looked like he had collapsed from hunger. "Hey… are you an idiot? Don't you know being a pirate is a dead end?"

After spending so many days together, he already knew this guy wasn't pretending to be stupid, but he still couldn't help saying it.

Luffy turned his head, clearly annoyed. "No way. Pirates are the freest people in the world!"

Zoro frowned in confusion. "Huh? What kind of reason is that? Don't you read the news? The war between pirates and the Marines in the New World is getting worse. At this rate, pirates might disappear from this world completely."
