Chapter 210
Chapter 210
Moments earlier.
Far from the center of Marineford's chaos, beyond the frozen sea, beyond the trembling battlefield, beyond the screams of war, five ships were cutting through the ocean like the arrival of fate itself.
At the center of them all sailed the legendary ship of the Pirate King.
The Oro Jackson.
Its massive golden hull cut through the waves with an almost arrogant pride, like it remembered the era it once ruled.
Standing at the front of the ship was Nyx D. Ada. Her red coat fluttered violently against the sea wind. Her crimson eyes stared only forward. Calm. Unreadable.
But everyone on deck knew that silence was never peaceful. Not with her.
Beside her stood Lilith, Perona, Carrot, Pedro, Okiku, and Hiyori.
No one spoke at first. Because even from this far away they could already feel it.
Marineford.
The battlefield of the century.
The war between the strongest man in the world and the World Government.
Behind the Oro Jackson four monstrous fleets followed.
The first a massive pirate ship flying the banner of the Sun Pirates. Commanded by Fisher Tiger, First Commander of the Nyx Pirates.
The second floating unnaturally in the sky itself was Ark Maxim. A flying warship surrounded by crackling thunder. Enel stood atop it like a god watching below.
The third an impossible floating golden city.
Gran Tesoro. A fortress of gold and greed. Ruled by Gild Tesoro, one of the underworld Emperors.
And the fourth a giant warship so massive it looked like a moving island. Built for giants.
Built for monsters. Commanded by Loki the Prince of Elbaf.
Five ships. Five monsters. One Emperor.
And all of them were now approaching Marineford.
Ahead, the Gates of Justice slowly opened.
Massive. Ancient. Towering over the sea like the mouth of judgment itself.
Even the ocean seemed to grow quieter.
Perona floated beside the railing, staring ahead with wide eyes. "…This place is terrifying."
She crossed her arms. "I mean seriously, look at that…"
She pointed forward. "There are warships everywhere. It looks like the whole world decided to gather here and start dying."
Carrot stood on the railing, ears twitching.
Her expression was both nervous and excited. "But this is amazing!"
She grinned. "There are so many strong people! I can feel it!"
Pedro gave her a sharp look. "Stay focused."
His voice was low. "Excitement gets people killed in wars like this."
Carrot immediately straightened. "…Right."
Lilith adjusted her glasses and looked toward the distant battlefield. "Whitebeard really brought everything."
She narrowed her eyes. "Not just his own ships. Those are allied fleets too. He's treating this like the final war."
Okiku's hand rested on her sword. "As he should."
Her voice was calm. "They are trying to execute one of his sons."
Hiyori quietly looked at the horizon. The smoke. The destruction. The tension. It made her chest tighten. "This doesn't feel like a war…"
she whispered. "It feels like the world is about to change."
Ada finally spoke softly and everyone listened. "That's because it is."
Her eyes never left Marineford. "This war…"
she said, "…will decide far more than Ace's life."
The wind passed heavily across the deck. Even the sea felt quieter.
Perona frowned and floated closer. "What do you mean, Captain?"
Her usual dramatic tone was gone. For once she sounded genuinely serious.
Ada stood at the front of the Oro Jackson, staring toward the distant battlefield. "The balance of power."
She crossed her arms. "It will shift after this war."
Her voice was calm. Too calm "Whether Newgate lives…"
A small pause.
"…or dies."
Silence. Then everyone froze.
Perona blinked.
Carrot's ears stood up.
Even Lilith looked up sharply.
Pedro's expression darkened.
Hiyori's voice came out first. "…What?"
She stepped forward. "What do you mean whether Whitebeard will live or not?"
Her eyes widened. "He's one of the Five Emperors!"
Carrot nodded quickly. "Yeah! He's Whitebeard!"
Perona added, "The strongest man in the world! That old monster doesn't just die!"
Even Okiku looked unsettled. Because saying Whitebeard might die felt like saying the sea itself might disappear.
Ada let out a quiet sigh. A rare one. Heavy. "It's because…"
she said, "…he's already old."
Her gaze lowered slightly. "When we last met…" for just a moment, something softer passed through her expression, "…he told me himself."
The crew stayed silent.
Ada continued. "He has a disease."
Her words landed like stones. "A disease that's killing him."
Hiyori's hand tightened. "A disease…?"
Even Perona looked speechless.
Pedro lowered his head slightly. He understood. Old monsters didn't fear death.
But sickness, that was different. That was cruel.
Lilith adjusted her glasses. "So that's why…"
She narrowed her eyes. "The Marines chose now."
Ada nodded. "Yes. They know."
Her voice sharpened. "They know this is probably the weakest Whitebeard will ever be."
Her eyes turned colder. "And they want to make sure he never leaves Marineford alive."
The crew fell silent again. Because now it made sense. The overwhelming military force.
Hiyori looked toward the sea. Toward the war waiting ahead. "…And he still came."
Her voice was almost a whisper. "He still came for Ace."
Ada smiled faintly. Small. Respectful. Because that was Edward Newgate.
"Yes." She said it without hesitation. "Knowing him…"
Her voice softened slightly. "He'd rather die on the battlefield…"
A pause.
"…than die from old age in a bed."
Pedro gave a small nod. "That sounds like him."
Ada looked toward Marineford again. Far away but already burning. "He was never the type to wait for death."
Her coat moved in the wind.
"If he dies…" she said, "…he'll do it standing."
No one spoke. Because they all knew that was true. That was Whitebeard. A man too large for ordinary endings.
Ada's eyes narrowed and for the first time there was something close to sadness.
"Maybe…" she said quietly, "…this is it."
Everyone looked at her.
She continued. "He's willing to sacrifice everything…"
Her voice lowered. "…for Ace."
Silence. Heavy. Unavoidable.
Even Carrot usually the brightest among them said nothing.
Perona slowly crossed her arms. "…He really loves him that much."
Ada answered immediately. "He does. He loves all of them."
No hesitation.
"No blood. No obligation. Just love."
She looked ahead. "And sometimes…"
her voice was colder now, "…that is stronger than blood."
The crew stood there in silence.
Because for a moment this wasn't about war.
It was about fathers. About sons. About family. About what people were willing to burn the world for.
And Whitebeard was burning everything.
For Ace.
Then suddenly.
BOOM.
A violent burst of Conqueror's Haki exploded across the sea. Red lightning cracked through the air.
The pressure itself shook the ocean. The ships trembled. The sea split around them.
Even the sky seemed to react.
Perona nearly screamed. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
She grabbed Lilith. "That was Conqueror's Haki! Right?! RIGHT?!"
Lilith shoved her off. "Yes, obviously!"
Even she looked shaken. "That pressure…"
Hiyori gripped the railing tightly. Her voice was quiet. "…Captain."
Ada looked at her.
Hiyori swallowed. "That haki…"
She hesitated. "It felt similar to yours."
A pause.
"…Especially the color."
Red. Violent. Royal. Like storms and blood. Like kings. Like monsters.
Everyone looked at Ada.
Even Pedro.
Even Lilith.
Because they all felt it.
That haki…felt familiar.
Ada smiled. Small. Sharp. Dangerous. And proud.
"I know."
Her voice was calm. But there was warmth there. Rare.
"So…" she said quietly, "he did inherit it after all."
Silence.
Perona blinked.
Carrot tilted her head.
Lilith froze.
Pedro sighed.
Of course.
Of course it was him.
Luffy.
Perona pointed dramatically. "WAIT."
She floated closer. "WAIT WAIT WAIT."
She stared directly at Ada like she had just uncovered the greatest scandal in history. "Are you telling me Straw Hat just used your kind of Conqueror's Haki?!"
Ada smirked. "Yes."
Perona grabbed her own head. "Oh my god, that family is illegal."
Lilith laughed under her breath. Honestly, she agreed.
Okiku rested a hand lightly on her sword.
"Well… what did you expect?"
She looked toward the battlefield with calm certainty. "He carries Lady Ada's blood… and Dragon's blood."
Her eyes narrowed slightly. "It would be stranger if he didn't possess that kind of will."
Perona pointed again. "I KNOW!"
She floated in circles. "But still! That haki—"
She slapped the air for emphasis. "—that kind of haki can knock out a Rear Admiral!"
She turned toward Ada. "Do you realize how terrifying that is?! Especially for someone who just started sailing like months ago?!"
Lilith smirked. "She does."
Perona froze. "…Right."
She slowly turned. "Of course she does."
Carrot grinned. "So Luffy really is amazing!"
Pedro folded his arms. "No."
He looked toward Marineford. "He's terrifying."
Lilith smirked. "And now the Marines get to find that out."
Hiyori stood silently beside Ada. Her voice was quieter. "But Captain…"
She hesitated. "If Luffy used that power now…does that mean the world will start connecting the pieces?"
Ada was silent for a moment. The sea roared around them.
Ahead, Marineford. War. Fate.
Then she answered. "Yes."
Simple. Certain.
Her eyes never left the horizon. "They probably already revealed Luffy's connection to Dragon."
Her voice was calm. "Roger's blood has been exposed through Ace."
Another pause. "And once people begin asking the right questions…"
Her expression darkened slightly. "…they will eventually arrive at me."
Perona groaned dramatically. "Fantastic."
She threw her hands into the air. "So not only are we going to Marineford…we're also casually preparing for the biggest political disaster in history."
Lilith smiled. "Correct."
Perona pointed at her. "I hate how happy you sound."
Lilith shrugged. "I like chaos."
Ada then stepped forward. The wind violently pulled at her coat.
Her presence changed. The warmth disappeared. The Emperor returned.
"All ships!"
Her voice thundered across the fleet. Instant silence. Every captain. Every crew member.
Every soldier listened.
"Full speed."
No hesitation. No second thoughts.
Her eyes glowed. "We are entering the battlefield."
At once the entire fleet accelerated. Like monsters charging toward destiny.
⸻—————
As Marineford finally came into full view the battlefield unfolded before them and even the crew fell silent. Because it was madness.
Ice. Fire. Blood. Broken warships. Thousands of Marines. Pirates. Giants. Admirals. Warlords. Chaos. Pure chaos.
Then Ada saw him. Ace. Then, Akainu.
Then her son Luffy. Kneeling. Exhausted. Too hurt to move.
And in that instant Ada's Observation Haki stretched forward.
Future Sight.
The world slowed. Silence.
She saw it. Ace turning. Akainu rushing.
Luffy unable to move. Ace throwing himself forward. Shielding him. Akainu's magma fist piercing straight through Ace's chest. Death. Absolute. Inevitable.
⸻————-
For the first time in years Ada felt pure rage.
Not irritated. Not cold. Not amused. Angry.
True anger. Pure fury.
The temperature around her dropped. Even the crew felt it and it terrified them.
Perona took a step back. "…Oh no."
Pedro's eyes narrowed. "She saw something."
Okiku tightened her grip on her sword. "Something terrible."
Hiyori whispered "…Future Sight."
Ada didn't say a word. She simply moved.
BOOM.
The deck beneath her shattered. Without warning she vanished. She had jumped.
No orders. No explanations. Just speed.
Monstrous speed.
Perona screamed. "SHE JUST LEFT?!"
Carrot stared. "She's flying?!"
Pedro watched the distant red blur tearing across the battlefield. His expression darkened. "She probably saw a terrifying future."
A pause.
"And she refused to accept it."
Lilith exhaled slowly. Then turned sharply. "Alright."
She clapped once. Everyone snapped back.
"No standing around."
Her grin returned. Cold. Excited. "Get ready."
Her eyes gleamed.
"Because Marineford…" she said, "…is about to get a lot worse."
———————-
Meanwhile, Ada moved like a crimson comet across the battlefield.
Faster than the eye. Faster than panic. Faster than fate.
The Marines below barely even saw her.
Only a red streak. Only fear. Only death approaching.
Then she saw it. Reality catching up to the future. Ace moved. Akainu attacked. Luffy froze. Exactly as she saw.
No.
Not today.
Not him.
Not Ace.
Not Luffy
Not her sons.
Not her family.
——————-
Ace stepped forward. Shielding Luffy. Akainu's magma fist descended.
Everyone screamed.
And just before impact, Ada arrived.
She caught Akainu's fist. With one hand.
Bare-handed. Like stopping rain. The magma screamed against her palm.
The battlefield froze.
Even Akainu's eyes widened. Because standing there between death and her sons
was her.
Nyx D. Ada.
The First Emperor of the Sea.
The Strongest Pirate Alive.
Captain of the Nyx Pirates.
The woman the world feared.
The woman even Marines whispered about.
And for the first time, Marineford truly understood what kind of monster had entered this war.
——————-
She didn't even turn around.
Her voice was soft. Gentle. Like a mother at home. Not an Emperor in war.
"You boys okay?"
————————-
The moment Ace threw himself forward, the instant he used his own body to shield Luffy from Akainu's magma fist, time slowed.
Everything became silent. The battlefield. The screams. The war. All of it.
For one brief second there was only Ace and the choice he had made.
Ace closed his eyes. His body moved on instinct. No hesitation. No regret. Only acceptance.
Inside his heart his final thoughts came quietly.
I'm sorry…
Luffy.
Sabo.
Gramps.
Pops.
Aunt Ada.
Everyone…
A small smile touched his lips.
I guess this is it for me.
A pause.
Then peace.
But at least…I'll die protecting my little brother.
Around them pirates screamed in horror.
"ACE!!!"
"NO!!"
Marco's eyes widened.
Jinbe froze.
Ivankov shouted.
Even Whitebeard himself stared.
Because everyone saw it.
Akainu's magma fist. Certain death. There was no escaping it.
And yet the fist never arrived.
Ace frowned. Still alive. No pain. No burning. No hole through his chest. Nothing.
His eyes slowly opened.
And then he heard it.
A woman's voice. Gentle. Calm. Familiar. Close.
"You boys okay?"
Luffy heard it too. Even through exhaustion.
Even through the pain. That voice.
His eyes widened.
——————
The battlefield went silent. Truly silent.
As if the entire war itself had stopped breathing.
Marines.
Pirates.
Warlords.
Admirals.
Everyone stared.
Because standing there one hand casually stopping Akainu's magma fist was someone no one expected.
A woman in red.
Eyes like judgment.
Presence like a storm.
An Emperor.
One of the Five Emperors of the Sea.
Nyx D. Ada.
———————
The Marines were the first to break. Their voices trembled.
"No way…"
"W-What is she doing here?!"
"That's—!"
One Marine dropped his rifle. His hands were shaking. "One of the Five Emperors!"
Another stepped back instinctively. "Nyx D. Ada!!"
"She's here!!"
"No, no, no—why is she here?!"
Panic spread instantly. Real panic. Not fear of pirates. Not fear of war. Fear of her.
Because one Emperor arriving at Marineford was already a catastrophe.
Two was the beginning of the end.
Even veteran officers who had fought for decades felt cold sweat run down their backs.
Far away, Whitebeard looked up from the battlefield and laughed.
"GURARARARA!"
"I didn't expect to meet you here, Ada!"
His grin widened despite the blood on his lips. "Still making dramatic entrances, I see!"
The pirates below erupted.
"Another Emperor?!"
"This war is insane!"
"We're really witnessing the end of an era!"
Ace stared. His breathing stopped. His body still frozen from nearly sacrificing himself.
And there she was. Standing in front of him.
Protecting him. Protecting Luffy.
His voice came out smaller and uncohesive than he expected. "…Au… Ad?"
Luffy, still on the ground, looked up too. His eyes were wide. He had never seen her before.
But somehow the presence felt familiar. Like something in his blood recognized her.
Nearby, Jinbe had rushed forward heart pounding from the terror of what almost happened.
He had seen Akainu move. Seen the magma fist. Seen death and for the first time in a long time he had truly feared he was too late.
But now seeing both Ace and Luffy still breathing, still alive he let out a breath he didn't realize he had been holding.
Relief hit him like a wave. His shoulders dropped and his eyes widened as he looked at the figure standing there.
Recognition. Respect. Family.
"Captain Ada…!" His voice carried both shock and relief.
He stepped closer. "I should have known…"
A small smile formed. "If anyone could stop that attack…it would be you."
Ada didn't turn. Her eyes were still locked on Akainu. Still cold. Still dangerous.
But she answered anyway.
"Jinbe."
Calm. Steady.
"You have my thanks for looking out for these two."
Akainu's face twisted. Pure fury. Pure disbelief. His magma boiled hotter from sheer rage. "You—!"
He immediately pulled back. Even he knew.
Even he understood. You do not stand that close to an angry Emperor. Especially not one like her.
"What the hell are you doing here?!"
His voice thundered across the plaza. "You damn woman!"
His fist still smoked from the magma she had stopped with one bare hand.
The surrounding Marines stared in horror. She had stopped Akainu's magma fist. With one hand. No injury. No strain. Nothing. Just raw power.
Even Akainu hated what that implied.
Ada didn't answer. Not immediately. She simply looked at him.
And Akainu saw it.
The rage in her eyes. Cold. Controlled. Terrifying. Not loud anger. Worse. The kind that wanted to kill. The kind that smiled while it ended nations.
His magma fist slowly cooled. For the first time in a long while Akainu stepped back.
Just enough. Because even he knew if she chose violence here Marineford itself might not survive.
Then Sengoku's voice exploded through the Den Den Mushi. "NYX D. ADA!!"
His voice shook the battlefield. Even the air felt heavier. "What the hell are you doing here?! Do you even understand what you are doing?!"
His tone sharpened. "What is your motive?!"
A beat.
"Are you in cahoots now with Whitebeard?!"
Everyone looked up at the broken execution platform.
Sengoku stood there in his massive Buddha form, furious. Below the execution stand, Garp stared silently. Even Garp looked stunned.
Ada finally looked up. Her voice was calm. Deadly calm.
"In cahoots with Newgate?"
She gave the faintest scoff. "What he does…is none of my concern."
Whitebeard, hearing that from afar, laughed loudly. "GURARARARA! Still rude as ever, Ada!"
He slammed his bisento down. "After all these years and you still can't be polite!"
Ada didn't even look at him. "Because you're still annoying, Newgate."
The pirates nearby burst into laughter despite the war.
"She insulted Whitebeard!"
"She really talks to Pops like that?!"
Marco sighed from the battlefield. "Yeah… that sounds about right."
Sengoku gritted his teeth. "Then WHY are you here?!"
His eyes narrowed. "Is it because Ace is your former captain's son?!"
The moment Roger was mentioned, the battlefield tensed.
Ada answered immediately. "Partly."
A pause.
Her gaze shifted downward. To Ace. To Luffy.
To family.
Then—
"I'm here…for my family."
Silence.
The Marines blinked. Confused. Family?
Vice Admiral Doberman frowned. "Family…?"
Momonga narrowed his eyes. "Is she talking about Fire Fist Ace?"
A Marine whispered. "No… wait…"
And then another Marine screamed from the coastline. "FLEET ADMIRAL!!"
His voice cracked.
"It's bad!!"
"It's the Nyx Pirate Fleet!!"
"All of them are here!!"
Sengoku turned sharply. "What?!"
And then he saw it.
Everyone did.
Beyond the battlefield. Beyond the shattered sea.
Five ships. Massive. Approaching like the end of the world.
The Marines stared in horror.
"No way…"
"It's the Nyx Pirates fleet…"
"They all came…"
The first ship was a massive vessel cutting through the sea with pride—its sail marked by the blazing symbol of the sun.
The Sun Pirates.
The Marines immediately recognized it. Their faces turned pale.
"The Sun Pirates—!"
"No way…"
"Is that really—?!"
"Fisher Tiger?!"
"The First Commander!"
Panic spread again. Because this was no ordinary pirate.
Standing at the front of the ship, tall, imposing, unmistakable was Fisher Tiger.
Beside Luffy, Jinbe froze for a second.
His eyes widened. Then for the first time in a long while his face lit up.
"Brother Tiger…!" His voice carried real emotion.
Not fear. Not tension. Relief. Respect. Family.
He stepped forward instinctively. Even through all the chaos of Marineford for that brief moment he was simply a younger brother seeing family again.
Tiger looked down from the ship. Then grinned.
A proud, familiar grin.
"Jinbe!" His voice boomed across the battlefield. "You've gotten yourself into quite the mess!"
Jinbe let out a small laugh. "You could say that, brother."
Then Tiger's eyes shifted.
Toward the center. Toward the woman standing there holding the battlefield hostage with nothing but her presence.
Nyx D. Ada.
Tiger stepped off the ship and landed heavily on the frozen battlefield.
The Marines flinched from the impact alone.
He walked forward and gave a respectful nod.
"Captain Ada." His voice was steady.
Ada crossed her arms and smirked faintly.
"You're late."
The second arrival did not come from the sea. It came from the sky. At first, the Marines only noticed the shadow.
Large. Massive. Moving above the battlefield. Then thunder cracked across the heavens.
BOOM.
Lightning split the clouds apart. The battlefield looked up and panic spread all over again.
"W-What is that?!"
"A ship?!"
"In the sky?!"
"Is that… a flying ship?!"
Even seasoned Vice Admirals stared upward in disbelief.
Because descending from the clouds like divine judgment itself was the Ark Maxim.
A massive flying ship surrounded by crackling thunder and storm clouds.
The very air trembled around it. Lightning danced across its golden structure like it belonged to the heavens.
A Marine pointed upward with shaking hands.
"That lightning…!"
"No way…"
"Don't tell me—!"
Another Marine screamed.
"It's him!"
"Enel!"
"The Thunder God!"
"The Lightning God Enel!"
"The Sky Pirates are here!"
Panic deepened. Because Enel was not someone people simply forgot. A man who called himself god. A monster who ruled the sky itself.
A pirate whose very presence meant destruction.
Standing atop the Ark Maxim, arms folded, looking down on Marineford like it disgusted him was Enel.
His expression was the same as ever.
Arrogant. Bored.
As if all of this—the war, the blood, the world itself—was beneath him.
He looked down at the battlefield and clicked his tongue. "Tch. So noisy."
Lightning cracked behind him. The sky itself seemed to answer his irritation.
From above, Enel finally descended toward Ada.
The moment he arrived. Their eyes met. He gave the faintest smirk. "So you finally decided to move, Ada."
Ada crossed her arms. "You took your time."
Enel scoffed. "I was deciding whether this battlefield was worth my presence."
A beat.
He looked toward Sengoku. Toward Akainu. Toward the Admirals.
Then smirked wider. "…I decided it was."
The Marines were sweating now.
First Whitebeard
Then Ada.
Then the Nyx fleet.
Now Enel descending from the sky itself.
One Marine whispered in horror. "How many monsters are we supposed to fight today…?"
The third ship came like a moving fortress.
At first, the Marines thought the sunlight was reflecting strangely off the sea.
Then they realized it wasn't light. It was gold.
An enormous golden vessel was approaching Marineford, massive and impossible to ignore. Its very presence felt excessive.
Luxurious. Overwhelming.
A floating kingdom of wealth and power.
The Marines stared in disbelief.
"No way…"
"That ship—!"
"Is that… Gran Tesoro?!"
"The Golden Ship!"
"It can't be!"
Another Marine shouted in panic.
"Gild Tesoro?!"
"That monster of greed is here too?!"
"The Golden Emperor himself?!"
Fear spread again. Because Gild Tesoro was not feared for brute strength alone.
He was feared because he controlled people.
Money. Power. Influence.
Entire kingdoms bent their knees for gold and Tesoro had more gold than kings.
Standing at the front of Gran Tesoro arms spread like he owned the world itself was Gild Tesoro. Dressed like royalty. Smiling like a man who had already bought victory.
He looked down at Marineford with amusement. "Well, well…"
His grin widened. "What an expensive little war this turned out to be."
The golden ship slowed.
Then without warning Tesoro leapt. He landed beside Ada with enough force to crack the frozen ground beneath him.
BOOM.
Nearby Marines instinctively stepped back.
Even now, no one wanted to be near monsters like these.
Tesoro adjusted his coat and smirked.
"Ada."
His tone was casual, but respectful.
"You started the party without me."
Ada crossed her arms and gave him a look.
"You're also late."
Tesoro placed a hand dramatically on his chest. "Late?"
He laughed. "I arrived exactly when my entrance would have the most impact."
Tesoro looked around the battlefield.
Whitebeard.
The Admirals.
The collapsing Marine forces.
Then he grinned wider.
"I must admit…this is even better than I expected."
He turned back to Ada. "So? Are we tearing Marineford down now?"
Ada looked toward the sea. Toward the final approaching ship. Then she nodded once.
"Almost."
Her voice was calm. Absolute.
"I guess we're almost complete."
Then the fourth ship arrived. The fourth ship seemed to loom into view behind the others. A colossal war vessel built for giants, its structure so massive it seemed to block out part of the sky.
The Marines felt fear.
Real fear.
"What the hell is THAT?!"
The giant Marines looked up and froze.
Their faces went pale.
"That ship…" One whispered. "…that's an Elbaf warship."
Another giant stepped back.
"No…"
"Don't tell me…"
The realization hit.
"GIANTS?!"
"Giants from Elbaf are siding with her?!"
"Are you serious?!"
Panic erupted across Marineford. Not just fear anymore but something deeper. Something closer to disbelief.
Because if Elbaf had truly chosen a side…then this war was no longer just the Navy versus pirates.
It was the world itself beginning to fracture.
And then a shadow moved. Something stepped down from it.
The ground reacted before the Marines even understood what they were seeing.
A heavy impact. A pressure wave.
Then, silence. Because standing there was a giant unlike anything they had ever seen.
He wasn't just tall.
He was overwhelming.
Even the already massive Giant Marine units nearby looked small in comparison.
Their eyes widened in shock.
One of them trembled. "No way…"
Another stepped back. "That size…"
"It's impossible…"
Then recognition hit them all at once.
Their voices broke.
"PRINCE LOKI?!"
"The Prince of Elbaf?!"
"The Giants' Royalty?!"
The Marines froze.
"PRINCE?!"
"That's the prince of Elbaf?!"
Whispers turned into panic.
"Why is he here?!"
"Did Elbaf really—?!"
"No… no, no, no…"
The battlefield felt like it was tipping over again.
And then he spoke. Calm. Heavy. Almost bored.
"Looks like I made it."
His gaze shifted slowly across the battlefield. Toward the Giants already present. Toward the ones who had sided with the World Government.
His eyes narrowed slightly. "Hmm… So those are the giants from Elbaf who are working with the World Government."
In front of him, Ada crossed her arms. "Yes."
Her voice was steady. "They were recruited by the World Government."
Loki scoffed immediately. A deep, irritated sound. "Bunch of traitors."
The words hit harder than a punch. The Giant Marines flinched.
One of them stepped forward nervously.
"Prince Loki… we—"
But he stopped.
Because Loki's eyes shifted to him. Cold.
Unforgiving.
The Giant Marine swallowed hard.
"…We serve for the protection of Elbaf…"
Loki stared at him for a long moment. Then looked away.
"As I said."
His voice dropped.
"Traitors."
No rage. No shouting. Just judgment.
And somehow that was worse.
The Giant Marines fell silent. Uneasy. Uncertain.
Because even among giants there were very few who could stand before Loki without fear.
Ada glanced at him briefly. "Glad that you made it. I'm guessing you had a hard time since your ship is so huge."
Loki shrugged. "Getting here was inconvenient."
Tesoro laughed nearby. "Even giants have trouble keeping appointments, huh?"
Loki ignored him.
His gaze drifted toward Marineford's center.
Toward the chaos.
"…So this is it."
He muttered.
Then, almost casually. "I suppose I'll see what all this noise is about."
And with that he stepped forward.
Then finally a ship appeared that did not belong in this era anymore. A ship that carried history itself.
The Oro Jackson.
For a moment, even the battlefield forgot to breathe.
Older Marines stiffened instantly. Their pupils shrank.
One veteran officer's hand began to shake as he pointed.
"No…"
His voice cracked.
"That ship…"
Another Marine beside him went pale.
"It's the Oro Jackson…!"
Then panic erupted fully.
"IT'S THE ORO JACKSON!!"
"THE LEGENDARY SHIP!"
"THAT NYX PIRATES… THEY'RE ALL HERE!!"
The name alone carried weight. Not just pirates. Not just legends. But ghosts of a forgotten age stepping back into the world.
On the deck they began to step out.
One by one.
Perona floated out first, arms crossed dramatically. "Ugh… finally."
Next came Hiyori, calm but alert, scanning the battlefield.
Behind her, Okiku stepped forward silently, hand already near her blade.
Then Carrot hopped out energetically.
"Wow… this is insane!"
Pedro stepped down with a serious expression. "…So this is Marineford."
And Finally.
Lilith descended from the Oro Jackson's upper deck, landing with a controlled thud on the frozen battlefield.
Unlike Perona's dramatic floating entrance or Carrot's bounce or Pedro's steady stride, Lilith arrived like someone who had already analyzed the entire war and found it inefficient.
She pushed her goggles slightly up. "Get ready World! The great and genius Lilith is here!"
The Marines immediately reacted.
"Ghost Princess Perona!"
"Moon Princess Hiyori!"
"Mad Angel of Science Lilith!"
"Those are all pirate with more than a hundred million berry bounty!!"
Even the Vice Admirals looked shaken.
Because this wasn't just reinforcements anymore. This was a coalition of chaos.
Perona immediately spotted Ada and flew toward her like a complaining child.
"Captain!!"
She hovered dramatically in front of her.
"You just left us in the dust! We had to use Lilith's boosters just to catch up!"
Ada didn't even look surprised. She simply exhaled. "I saw a terrifying future."
A pause.
"I had no choice."
Perona froze. "…Terrifying future?"
Then she immediately grabbed her head.
"DON'T SAY THINGS LIKE THAT SO CALMLY!!"
Carrot tilted her head. "So everything really was planned…"
Pedro nodded. "She saw this outcome."
Okiku looked toward Marineford's center. "The war has already gone beyond control…"
Hiyori's eyes narrowed slightly. "…This battlefield is collapsing faster than expected."
Perona, however, suddenly spun around and spotted something more interesting.
Her eyes lit up.
"ACE!! STRAWHAT!!"
Ace, still near Luffy, blinked.
"…Ghost girl?"
Luffy immediately pointed. "HEY! YOU'RE THAT FLOATY SCARY GIRL!"
Perona gasped dramatically. "EXCUSE YOU?! I am NOT scary!"
Luffy laughed. "Yes you are!"
Ace sighed. "You two are already arguing…?"
Perona floated closer to Ace. "You owe your life to me too, you know!"
Ace blinked and laughed.
One by one the Nyx Pirates arrived. Walking through the battlefield. Walking through Marineford. Walking toward Ada and no one dared stop them.
Because who would?
Who would be insane enough?
Even the Vice Admirals hesitated.
Even the Admirals watched carefully.
Ace finally steadied himself. Looked up and said what no one expected. "…Aunt Ada you came!"
The battlefield froze again.
Pirates blinked.
Marines stared.
Even the Admirals looked.
"Aunt?!"
"Did he say aunt?!"
"What?!"
Buggy screamed. "WHY DOES EVERYONE IMPORTANT KNOW EACH OTHER?!"
Crocodile just rubbed his forehead. "This war gets more ridiculous every minute."
Luffy, still on the ground, stared intensely.
His brain finally catching up. His eyes locked on Ada. His mouth opened. "So that's my mo—"
Ace immediately said. "Yes, Luffy! That's her!"
Luffy blinked. Then lit up like a child.
"So cool!!"
Even in the middle of war he looked genuinely excited.
"She's awesome! She stopped the magma fist guy with one hand!"
Ace sighed. "Your priorities are insane."
Ada smiled. Softly. Rarely. "I hope I didn't arrive late."
Ace laughed nervously. "Not at all, Aunt Ada!"
Ada smirked. "Oh?"
She crossed her arms. "If I didn't arrive in time…you would have turned into a flaming donut, Ace."
Luffy froze. Then burst into laughter. "PFFT—HAHAHAHAHA!"
"A flaming donut?! That's true!"
Ace turned red instantly. "SHUT UP, LUFFY! I was trying to save you!"
Luffy laughed harder.
Ada sighed. But her eyes softened. "I'm just glad…that both of you are okay."
Then her voice turned sharp. Commanding. Absolute.
"Bullet."
"Mihawk."
"Kuma."
Far across the battlefield they heard her.
Bullet smirked. "Finally."
He cracked his neck. "About damn time."
He abandoned Kizaru instantly and leapt across the battlefield.
Kizaru adjusted his glasses. "Ooh… scary. So the captain finally arrived."
Mihawk silently sheathed Yoru and stepped away from Aokiji.
He arrived beside her like a shadow. "Captain."
Ada nodded once. "Good work, Mihawk."
He said nothing but that was enough.
Bartholomew Kuma vanished from the battlefield and reappeared beside her.
"Ada." His voice was calm. "You're here."
The Marines were horrified.
Sengoku finally understood and he was furious. "What is the meaning of this?!"
His voice shook. "Mihawk, I can understand But Kuma too?!"
His eyes burned. "Is THIS why you betrayed the Warlords?!"
Kuma said nothing.
And that silence was answer enough.
Sengoku roared. "WHAT DO YOU WANT, ADA?!"
The words didn't just echo they crushed the air for a moment.
But the Marines barely even reacted to him now. Because their attention had already been stolen.
Completely. Utterly.
By what stood behind Ada.
The full formation of the Nyx Pirates and it wasn't just numbers.
It was names.
Monsters. Legends. Nightmares.
Nyx D. Ada stood at the center, calm as always.
But behind her the world was breaking.
Dracule Mihawk stood silently with Yoru resting on his shoulder.
Douglas Bullet cracked his knuckles like the battlefield was just a warm-up.
Bartholomew Kuma stood motionless, but his presence alone silenced nearby Marines.
Fisher Tiger stood with arms crossed, glaring at the World Government forces with open contempt.
Above, lightning flickered as Enel hovered, looking down like a god observing insects.
Gild Tesoro smiled like the war was already his profit.
And beside them Loki stood like a walking disaster, taller than even the giant Marines, staring down the battlefield with bored disdain.
Then came the rest.
Lilith excited and grinning like a madwoman.
Perona floating impatiently.
Hiyori steady and composed.
Okiku silent, hand near her blade.
Carrot barely containing excitement.
Pedro watching everything like a veteran preparing for sacrifice.
Jinbe standing close to Ada and Luffy.
And all of them moved as one force.
A single terrifying answer to Sengoku's question.
The Marines couldn't hide it anymore.
Fear. Real fear.
A young Marine dropped his rifle. "…This is impossible…"
Another stepped back. "All of them… gathered in one place…?"
A Vice Admiral's voice trembled.
"This isn't an alliance…"
"This is an invasion…"
Even the Admiral ranks were visibly unsettled.
The weight of the Nyx Pirates' arrival wasn't something that could be ignored not even by the strongest forces of the Navy.
Akainu stood rigid, magma simmering under his clenched fists. His jaw tightened hard enough that it looked like it might crack.
"Those damn pirates…" he muttered, voice low and furious. "Gathering like this in one place…damn it all!"
His eyes burned red as they locked onto Ada's group. "If they think numbers will save them… I'll burn them all down myself."
A vein pulsed at his temple. "This war ends with Whitebeard and that brat's head on the ground."
No hesitation. No doubt. Only rage.
Beside him, Kizaru tilted his head slightly, finally showing something closer to genuine interest than laziness.
"Well, well…" he said lightly, adjusting his glasses. "Now that's a surprise."
His gaze drifted over the battlefield—over Ada, Mihawk, Bullet, Kuma, Enel, Tesoro, Loki… all of them.
"So many big names gathered in one place…" he murmured.
Then he exhaled slowly. "Didn't expect another Emperor would show up today…"
A faint pause. "…this is getting troublesome, isn't it?"
Even then, his tone remained oddly casual, like he was watching something inconvenient rather than catastrophic.
On the other side, Aokiji scratched the side of his neck, eyes half-lidded but noticeably sharper than before.
"…Arara," he muttered. His gaze shifted across the battlefield slowly.
Whitebeard's forces.
The Marines spread thin.
And now the Nyx Pirates.
"This is getting worse…" he said quietly. Not panic. Just truth.
Then his eyes narrowed slightly. "…Way worse."
For the first time, even his relaxed demeanor carried tension.
Because Aokiji understood something the others were only starting to feel. This wasn't just Marineford anymore. This was the point where the world started to break.
For once even they understood the scale.
Then Luffy suddenly raised his hand. "Hey!! Lightning guy!!"
Enel tilted his head slightly from above.
"…Strawhat."
Luffy grinned. "Long time no see!"
Enel let out a small scoff. "Oh? So you still have the nerve to greet a god so casually."
Luffy laughed. "Shishishi! You're still saying that?"
A beat.
Then Enel smirked faintly. "…You caused quite the mess for someone so small."
Luffy just scratched his head. "Yeah, well… kinda busy!"
Then Sengoku finally snapped. "ENOUGH!!"
His voice shook the battlefield again. "Nyx D. Ada! You brought your entire fleet here?!"
His eyes narrowed sharply. "And to top it off… you even coerced the prince of giants into your forces?!"
He pointed toward Loki. "Does this mean Elbaf is siding with the Nyx Pirates?!"
The Giants in Marineford tensed instantly.
Some Marines stepped back from them instinctively.
Sengoku continued, voice rising. "What is your agenda, Ada?! Why now of all times?!"
Then his gaze snapped toward the center toward Luffy.
"WE SAW IT!!"
"Douglas Bullet, Dracule Mihawk, and Bartholomew Kuma ALL protected Straw Hat!!"
His voice sharpened. "What is your connection to Straw Hat Luffy?!"
The entire battlefield went silent again.
Even the sea seemed to stop moving.
All eyes turned to Ada.
Waiting. Judging. Fearing.
And Ada looked at Sengoku calmly.
Like the question itself was beneath urgency.
Like the answer had always been obvious.
But she didn't speak yet.
Not immediately.
Because for the first time Marineford was finally listening.
The entire battlefield waited.
The world waited.
Sabaody waited.
History waited.
Even the wind felt like it stopped.
Ada looked down. Luffy's straw hat had fallen beside him. She picked it up. Carefully. Gently.
Like something precious. Like something she had once seen on another man.
Roger.
Shanks.
Now Luffy.
She placed it back on his head.
Then she sat and placed Luffy's exhausted head on her lap.
Like a mother would.
Like only a mother could.
And finally she spoke.
Quietly. Clearly. Absolutely.
"This boy…"
Her hand rested on his head.
"…is my son."
The world stopped.
She looked at Ace.
"Ace…is his stepbrother."
Her gaze lifted. Cold. Unshaken.
"I consider both of them… as my sons."
A final breath.
"My family."
For a fraction of a second there was nothing.
Then the battlefield detonated into chaos.
Shock. Absolute shock.
The world itself shattered.
"WHAT?!"
"ARE YOU SERIOUS?!"
"Straw Hat Luffy's mother is HER?!"
"Nyx D. Ada?!"
"And Dragon the Revolutionary?!"
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
"ARE YOU TELLING ME THOSE TWO—?!"
"THAT CHILD IS THEIR SON?!"
"The son of Dragon and Ada?!"
"The World's Strongest Pirate and the World's worst criminal?! Together?!"
"Are they insane?!"
Even across the sea.
Marines dropped their reports. Some dropped their weapons. Some dropped to their knees. Because the implications were too large.
Too terrifying.
Too political.
Too world-shaking.
Sengoku stood frozen for a rare moment. Then his face twisted. Not just anger. But disbelief. Shock. And something closer to frustration at reality itself.
"You're telling me…" His voice cracked slightly. "You are Straw Hat Luffy's mother?!"
His eyes sharpened. "And you and Dragon… the Revolutionary…?!"
The air around him trembled. "Do you understand what you're saying?!"
His voice rose sharply. "That child has the blood of the world's two most dangerous criminals?!"
Akainu stepped forward immediately, magma flaring violently from his fists.
His expression was darker than before. More absolute. More hateful.
"So that's it…" His voice was low. Cold. Final.
"The son of Dragon…and Ada." His magma burned hotter. "The blood of the worst criminals in the world runs through that brat."
He narrowed his eyes toward Luffy. "…No wonder he's rotten."
A pause.
Then—
"I'll make sure that bloodline ends here."
Aokiji exhaled slowly, scratching his cheek.
"…Arara…"
But his eyes were no longer lazy. They were sharp now. "…That's a heavy revelation."
His gaze drifted toward Luffy. Then toward Ada. "…Too heavy for one battlefield."
Kizaru tilted his head slightly. "Oh my…"
A faint whistle. "That's quite the family tree…"
He adjusted his glasses. "…No wonder things got so complicated."
But even he looked more alert now. Less joking. More calculating.
Around them, the Marines were unraveling.
Some stepped back in fear. Some looked angry. Some looked lost.
"This changes everything…"
"I thought we were fighting the son of Dragon?!"
"And now he is also the son of… that woman?!"
"This isn't just piracy anymore…"
"This is the worst possible combination…"
And at the center of it all Ada stood perfectly still. Luffy resting on her lap. Ace beside them.
And for the first time in Marineford the world understood.
This wasn't just a rescue.
This wasn't just a war.
This was a declaration.
And the world government had just learned too late what family truly meant.
——————-
Sabaody Archipelago erupted instantly. Journalists were screaming, scrambling over each other.
"PRINT IT!!"
"GET THE DEN DEN MUSHI LIVE!!"
"HISTORY IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!!"
"TWO OF THE WORLD'S MOST DANGEROUS CRIMINALS ARE TOGETHER!!"
"NYX D. ADA AND DRAGON THE REVOLUTIONARY HAS A SON AND IT'S STRAWHAT LUFFY!!!"
"GET THIS TO THE MAIN OFFICE IMMEDIATELY!!"
The chaos wasn't just noise anymore. It was collapse. Information systems failing. Reporters crying as they tried to write fast enough to keep up with reality.
In A small bar near the live broadcast .
Silence.
A single man sat calmly, glass in hand, watching the broadcast Den Den Mushi projected in the air.
Silvers Rayleigh exhaled slowly. "…So Shakky was right."
He took a sip. "Never go against a woman's intuition…"
A faint smile formed. "…especially when she says something this absurd."
His eyes narrowed slightly as Marineford filled the screen again—Ada, the ships, the emperors, the war unfolding like the world itself was breaking apart.
"…To think you had a son, Ada."
A pause.
"And Luffy of all people…"
His gaze softened slightly.
"With Dragon, no less."
Rayleigh let out a low chuckle.
"You really know how to make an entrance…"
His smile widened just a little.
"…still as grand as ever."
He leaned back in his chair. The chaos outside continued to rise. But Rayleigh stayed still.
Because men like him understood something the world was just starting to realize. This wasn't just a war anymore.
This was the beginning of a new era being forced into existence… whether the world was ready or not.
——————
Back in Marineford, the battlefield was no longer just war, it was revelation after revelation, each one heavier than the last.
Ivankov stood wide-eyed for a second… then suddenly burst into his usual exaggerated grin. "EEEEEEH—?! YEE-HAW!!"
He struck a dramatic pose, hands flying up.
"Adaaaa!! You finally arrived!! With your full forces!!"
His head snapped toward the sky where the massive fleet of the Nyx Pirates loomed over Marineford like a second horizon.
"And you didn't just show up, you dropped a bombshell on everyone!!"
He leaned forward, eyes sparkling with chaotic excitement. "Strawboy's full lineage!! The Revolutionary Dragon and Nyx D. Ada!!"
He threw his arms wide. "How bold can you get?! You just flipped the entire world upside down in one announcement!!"
But even as he laughed, there was something sharper underneath it.
A strategist's awareness.
A Revolutionary's instinct.
Ivankov's grin softened slightly as his eyes narrowed toward the battlefield.
"…But this isn't just bold, is it?"
His voice dropped a little, still theatrical, but more grounded now.
"You didn't come here for a simple rescue…"
He glanced at Luffy on Ada's lap.
Then at Ace.
Then at the Admirals.
"…you came because the future itself is being rewritten right in front of us."
He let out another laugh, but it carried tension this time. "YEEE-HAW… this is gonna be one hell of a turning point!"
Then he pointed dramatically toward Marineford again. "Alright then!! If Strawboy's family is here and you are moving, then the world government better be ready!!"
His grin returned fully, wild and unrestrained.
"Because this war just became something even the Marines can't control anymore!!"
———————
Near the Plaza.
Garp stood completely still.
For once, the "Hero of the Marines" didn't look like a man who could shake an era with a single punch.
He looked… old.
His fists were clenched so tightly his knuckles cracked, but he didn't move. Didn't breathe for a moment.
"Nyx D. Ada…"
His voice came out lower than usual. Not loud. Not angry at first. Just… heavy.
His eyes shifted to Luffy on the ground. Then to Ace. Then to Ada, cradling Luffy's head on her lap like a wall between them and the entire Navy.
The words Sengoku had just broadcast still echoed in his head. "You're telling me…you are Straw Hat Luffy's mother?! You and Dragon… the Revolutionary…?!"
Garp's jaw tightened. "…Dragon… you idiot…"
His voice cracked slightly on the last word.
Then it shifted. Anger. Not at Ada. Not at Dragon. At the world. At the situation. At himself.
"You really went and made a family like this…"
His fist trembled.
Marines nearby noticed it immediately.
"Vice Admiral Garp…?"
"Is he… shaking?"
Garp took one step forward. Then stopped.
Because he saw Luffy again. Bloodied. Breathing hard. Still trying to stand.
Then he crossed his arms and took a breath. "Hmph, Dragon you really have terrible taste."
—————-
Ada stood.
The air around her stopped first.
Not metaphorically—physically.
Sound dulled. Wind died. The sea below Marineford stopped rippling for a fraction of a second, like the world itself had hesitated.
Her expression changed. Gone was calm authority. What remained was fury.
Cold. Focused. Absolute.
Her eyes lifted slowly, sweeping across the battlefield—Marine ranks, the remaining warlords, Admirals, even the distant silhouette of Whitebeard.
Every gaze she met felt like judgment.
Then she spoke. Quietly. But it carried through the entire battlefield like a decree etched into reality.
"If you want to kill them…"
A pause.
Even the cannons stopped firing. Even the screaming faded.
Her hand tightened slightly.
Her voice dropped further.
"…you better be ready…"
The pressure changed.
It wasn't just Conqueror's Haki anymore.
It felt like the sky was being pressed down onto the sea.
Then—
"…to die."
BOOOOOOM!!
Her Conqueror's Haki exploded outward.
Red lightning didn't just flash—it ripped through the sky in jagged cracks like reality itself was breaking.
The shockwave wasn't sound.
It was domination.
It swept across Marineford in a single violent surge.
The Conqueror's Haki continued to press down on Marineford like a second sky collapsing.
Red lightning still arced across the heavens.
The sea trembled beneath the execution platform.
And then the Vice Admirals broke completely.
Their bodies gave out all at once, like puppets with their strings severed.
Momonga was already down.
Doberman followed immediately after, collapsing hard onto the ice.
Strawberry's attempt to stand lasted only a heartbeat before his knees buckled.
Dalmatian fell forward, unconscious before he even hit the ground.
Rear Admirals—entire ranks—simply disappeared into the pressure, dropping in waves as Ada's will spread outward.
Thousands of Marines collapsed across the battlefield.
Some clawed at the ground desperately.
Some screamed until their voices failed.
Some couldn't even open their mouths.
"I… can't breathe…!!"
"My body! It won't move!!"
"It's crushing my mind!!"
"Someone! stop this!!"
Veterans who had survived the New World, men who had fought Yonko crews and lived, were shaking uncontrollably.
Not from injury.
From willpower alone being overwritten.
⸻——————
The Admirals reacted differently.
Akainu stood at the center of it all. The pressure pushed against him like a physical ocean.
His coat flapped violently. His boots sank slightly into the cracked ice beneath Marineford.
But he did not fall. His jaw clenched hard enough that magma began leaking through his fists, hissing against the frozen ground.
"That woman…!!" His voice was low. Tense. Almost trembling with contained rage. "…to think her Haki has reached this level!!"
His eyes narrowed sharply toward Ada. For the first time, there was something rare in Akainu's expression.
Not fear.
Not doubt.
But recognition.
A clear understanding that this was no longer just a battlefield problem.
This was a threat to the system itself.
"…If she moves…" His magma flared. "everything here burns."
Aokiji exhaled slowly. The breath came out cold—but uneven this time.
"…Ara ara…" His usual laziness was gone completely. The pressure bore down on him like an invisible mountain.
His knee hit the ice. Not slowly. Not deliberately. But because his body could no longer fully resist it.
Crack.
The frozen surface beneath him splintered outward.
Kuzan's head dipped slightly, one hand bracing against the ground.
His eyes stayed locked on Ada. But the calm was gone. Only focus remained. "…this is getting worse…"
His voice was quieter now. Not relaxed. Not amused. Just… acknowledging reality.
Even an Admiral of the Navy was being forced down.
Beside him Kizaru tried to lift his hand to adjust his glasses again.
But halfway up his arm stopped. The pressure hit harder.
His smile didn't appear. Not even a trace.
"Oh my…"
His body shifted. Then his knee touched the ice.
A slow, reluctant drop. But still a drop.
The admiral of light knelt. Not from injury. Not from attack. From sheer overwhelming will.
"that's…" His voice came out lower now. Measured. Almost careful. "quite the troublesome Haki, isn't it?"
A pause.
Then, quieter. "…even I can't stay standing."
Around them, the ice battlefield groaned under Ada's Conqueror's Haki.
Cracks spread like spiderwebs across Marineford.
And for the first time in the war two Admirals were no longer standing at full authority.
They were kneeling. Under her will.
Sengoku stood frozen for a moment.
Not because he didn't understand what was happening but because his mind was struggling to accept it.
His eyes slowly shifted across the battlefield.
Vice Admirals unconscious.
Rear Admirals also unconscious.
Thousands of Marines lying motionless across the shattered ice of Marineford.
Even veteran officers who had survived brutal New World campaigns were either unconscious or had foam coming out their mouths.
The battlefield wasn't just being pressured.
It was being dominated.
Sengoku's expression tightened.
"Even Vice Admirals…" His voice came out strained now. Not calm. Not commanding. "are falling just from her presence…?!"
Then his gaze moved further and his body went still. Because he saw it clearly now.
Two silhouettes.
Aokiji and Kizaru.
Aokiji kneeling, one hand braced against the ice, cracks spreading beneath him.
Kizaru down on one knee, glasses lowered, no trace of his usual laziness left.
Sengoku's jaw clenched hard.
"Two Admirals…" His voice dropped. For the first time, there was disbelief mixed with something heavier. "are kneeling…?"
Silence. The kind that only appears when command itself begins to fracture.
His eyes snapped toward Ada.
Sakazuki was still standing—but even he looked strained, magma flickering under pressure.
Sengoku's expression darkened further. "What a monster…"
The words came out slowly. Not as an insult. As a realization.
His grip tightened on the Den Den Mushi.
"…Among all known users of Conqueror's Haki…"
A pause.
The pressure in the air pressed even harder.
"…she may be the strongest alive."
Behind him, Marines continued collapsing.
Some unconscious.
Some still awake enough to feel terror without being able to move.
The battlefield of Marineford, once the Navy's strongest stage was now being crushed under a single will.
And Sengoku finally understood the scale of what had appeared.
Not just an Emperor.
Not just a pirate.
But something that made even Admirals kneel without a single attack being thrown.
———————-
High above the world, in the hidden chamber of Marie Geoise the air itself fractured.
Not physically at first. But spiritually.
As if something had reached across the sea, across distance, across authority itself, and pressed down on the very core of the world.
A silent shockwave of will.
Then a sound no one in Mariejois was supposed to hear.
"AHHHHHHHHHH—!!"
A scream. Not of pain. But of recognition… and fear.
The shadowed figure in the chamber lurched violently, dropping to one knee, one hand digging into the marble floor as if trying to anchor themselves to reality.
The presence around them wavered.
The aura of absolute control… cracked.
"Joyboy…?!"
A breath, unstable.
Then—
"No…"
The voice shifted. Colder. Sharper.
More controlled, but shaken underneath.
"…It's her."
A pause.
The name carried weight even in that sealed room.
"…Nyx D. Ada."
The shadow trembled again. The silence that followed felt wrong.
Too heavy. Too still.
"…To think…"
The voice continued slowly.
"…you have achieved such power…"
The door to the chamber suddenly burst open.
Footsteps rushed in.
"IMU-SAMA!!"
A woman dropped immediately beside the collapsing figure, panic breaking through her composure as she reached out to stabilize them.
"Please—calm yourself!!"
But even as she spoke, she was trembling. Not from the figure's reaction alone. But from what she had felt through the walls of the world itself.
Elsewhere in Marie Geoise, the pressure had already faded from the outside world, but within the highest chamber of power, its echo still lingered like a wound in reality.
The Five Elders stood, or in some cases, remained half-risen, each of them shaken in a way the world had never seen.
Topman Warcury narrowed his eyes first.
"That Haki…" His voice was low, controlled, but there was tension underneath it now.
Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro slowly adjusted his posture, hand tightening around his blade.
"It reached this place…"
A pause.
Even he sounded unsettled.
Marcus Mars finally opened his eyes fully, the calm authority in them disrupted.
"No…" His tone darkened. "…this is not normal Conqueror's Haki."
The silence that followed was heavy enough to feel physical.
Even the Den Den Mushi in the room seemed to hesitate.
Outside the chamber, guards stood frozen, their knees trembling as if an unseen force still pressed against their minds.
Then Jaygarcia Saturn spoke. Slowly. Deliberately.
"This level…"
A pause.
His expression tightened. "…is beyond what the world has recorded."
For the first time, unease flickered across his face.
Shepherd Ju Peter exhaled sharply, sweat visible on his brow despite the controlled environment of Mariejois.
"Even the Emperors…"
He stopped. As if unwilling to complete the thought.
But then he forced it out anyway.
"…None of them have reached this scale of suppression."
No one responded immediately. Because they were all remembering the same thing.
That moment.
That pressure.
That feeling of the world itself being pressed down by a single will.
Then Warcury spoke again, quieter now.
"For a moment…" His gaze darkened. "I thought it was him."
A beat.
"…Joyboy."
Nusjuro's eyes sharpened slightly. "…So did I."
Another pause.
Then Mars finally said it. Cold. Clear. Unsettled.
"…But it wasn't."
Silence. Heavy silence.
Then Saturn's voice followed. Lower than before. "…It was her."
The room froze. Even the air seemed to stiffen.
Ju Peter's expression tightened. "…Nyx D. Ada."
The name landed like a verdict.
Warcury slowly straightened. His composure returned, but only partially.
"…To reach Joyboy's level of Haki…"
A pause.
His eyes narrowed.
"…in this era…"
No one finished the sentence.
Because they all understood what it implied.
This wasn't just an Emperor rising.
This was something that should not have been possible, returning to the world through a different name.
And somewhere far below Mariejois, across the battlefield of Marineford, that same pressure still echoed faintly in the bones of everyone who survived it.

Author's Note
This was a really long chapter with over 9000+ words. This is the reveal, guys. The big one. I really hope you liked it.
I spent hours writing this chapter, making sure every scene hit the way I wanted it to. Honestly, I thought about dividing it into 2 or even 3 chapters because of how long it got but I had already written everything as one complete chapter, and by that point I got lazy and just decided to upload it all at once.
Let me know what you think! And also thanks for the 300 powerstones! First time I received that many. Now give me more!!!
Thank you for reading and staying with the story until this point. Things will only get crazier from here.
