Chapter 1322 - 719: The End

Chapter 1322 - 719: The End

After wounding someone, Jimmy immediately shouted to Steven behind him, "Stay alert, I'm going upstairs to check."

Without waiting for Steven to speak, Jimmy went straight up the stairs. The person he wounded was lying on the ground, now writhing and moaning in pain. Everyone reacts similarly after being shot, except for those with fatal injuries.

Rushing to the third floor, Jimmy fired a shot at a room door, quickly put away his Glock, picked up the gun dropped by the wounded person on the ground, and stood against the wall on the stairs.

Only after firing did Jimmy realize that there was another person in that room whom he wanted to execute on the spot. The current situation seemed opportune amidst the chaos. Whatever happens, there would be some reason to clear himself of suspicion.

He glanced upstairs. On the fourth and fifth floors, several people were on guard with guns inside their rooms, not coming out. It seemed difficult to lure them out without using them as a decoy, leaving many things Jimmy couldn't accomplish.

Jimmy glanced down slightly at his button. This spy camera was always running; no matter the action, it had to be concealed.

Confirming no one was nearby, Jimmy immediately went downstairs. Steven had already fired shots, but from Jimmy's perspective, he could see Steven had missed and hit the corner where the opponents were hiding, understandable, but it affected Jimmy's plans a little.

"Steven, fall back, let's retreat upstairs and wait for support, I don't have much ammunition."

Jimmy moved beside Steven, took over his position, and let him retreat first. As for Jimmy, he chose not to shoot anymore. His loud voice earlier was likely heard by the others, so when they retreated, the opponents would come over. At that time, there would be a chance to make them open the door and check, allowing him to fish in troubled waters.

The first person he wanted to eliminate was on the second floor, which was a bit troublesome. Jimmy glanced at the room where the man was hiding by the bed, seemingly ready to crawl under it. If he kicked down the door and killed him, it would definitely be recorded.

Jimmy retreated to the stairway corner, watching the people on the first-floor stairs look in before slowly coming up the stairs, walking toward the second-floor hallway. If Jimmy wanted to break through, these people wouldn't be in his eyes, but for his dark intent, he had to make them come upstairs to search.

Watching them cautiously move forward, checking each room, one of them was on the phone. They seemed unlikely to confront him soon. He turned to Steven at the stairwell, "How much ammo do you have?"

Steven replied, "About ten rounds. I didn't bring spare magazines; couldn't afford to."

Jimmy nodded. There was no choice; this was reconnaissance in disguise. They each only had one magazine. Bringing more would cause trouble if discovered, "Pick up a gun later, protect yourself. I haven't cleared upstairs; there might still be some of them."

Steven said, "Don't worry about me. You're the main force."

Jimmy turned to look at those slowly searching on the second floor, contemplating, "I'll get you a gun; they don't use Glocks, grab any you find for now. Stay here."

Steven raised his handgun, pointing it at the third floor. Holding this side was enough. As for Jimmy, there was no need to worry. He was unaware of Jimmy's darker thoughts. In this situation of being surrounded, Jimmy's choices were definitely right. The opponents outnumbered them, and with their own scarce bullets, grabbing some weapons and finding a place upstairs to hold until support arrived was the best strategy.

Jimmy could anticipate the opponents' positions, keeping him relatively safe. After leaving the stairs, he immediately entered an empty room next door, twisting the doorknob to open it. Contrary to hotel room doors, the rooms here weren't locked, whether for convenience or some other reason, even if occupied.

However, Jimmy didn't close the door, standing beside it after opening. After a while, two people came by. Seeing the open door, they glanced inside and were about to leave. Jimmy grabbed one and slammed him against the door frame, immediately hiding behind the wall. The second person reacted swiftly, firing at Jimmy's position and hiding to the side.

The one Jimmy grabbed was retreating when Jimmy fired at the cornered person and then shot the one he had slammed into the door frame, aiming for their guns, disarming them without injuring them. Then he let his own gun drop, rushing out of the room to engage the two in the hallway.

Though their hand-to-hand combat skills were weak, Jimmy managed to let one of their hands touch his clothes, pulling him back a step. The clothes tore, buttons popping off. In the struggle, Jimmy's hand brushed the button with the spy camera, pulling it forcefully, causing it to fall to the ground.
