Chapter 28
Chapter 28
*Tyler's pnt of view*
After watching that hilarious video of my son's and this other guy's death, Sarah's daughter, who seem affected by the second guy's death, was trying to stop her crying. I mean, I can see why Jake wanted her and all, but at the moment I wanted to smack the shit out of her, because hearing her was absolutely sickening.
At some point Sarah finally spoke up, and till this day she still has an effect on me.
"I need to go to the bathroom please." She said, I watched her as I thought about the fact that she is out of this world. I mean she is being held hostage, yet she is still using manners.
Huh, maybe it's a trick.
I sent her a suspicious look, but nevertheless, I allowed her to go.
"Alright Lucas take her."
When Lucas took her away, I looked after them, thinking of how everything led down to this.
*Flashback*
When I first met Sarah, it was one of the best days of my life, although she bumped into me, spilling my coffee on our first encounter.
I remember how she apologized over and over, then she scurried away.
On our second encounter that day, I bumped into her, causing her to drop her book, yet she laughed ever so softly then she said "I guess this is Payback."
Her soft voice sent a comforting chill down my spine, and I found myself stammering a response "n-n-no, I-Its not what it looks like, I'm sorry. Um, I'm T-Tyler by the way."
"Sarah." She replied in that same soft tone.
"Nice to meet you." I extended my hand for her to shake, and she mirrored my actions as she said " Likewise."
I adored how she kept her answers short and at times she would hold eye contact, and other times she would look or shy away.
She was turning to leave when I grabbed her hand but I quickly dropped it when she looked ready to break my neck.
"Hey I was wondering, would you like to grab a coffee some time ?" I asked.
"No." Was her simple reply, then she turned and walked away.
My pride was wounded, but I was awed at how she was able to resist my offer, not only so, it showed that she was careful.
I remember seeing her around, her beautiful smile always seconds away from showing, her hair most likely in its natural waves, and she was conservative of her body, didn't show too much, which made me want her even more.
I remember pursuing her for a while afterwards, and I finally got her to say yes. After a few dates, we became a couple. She told me about her parents, and how she needed a job to help them with financial issues, and after gaining her trust I got her to move in with me. However, although she agreed, her parents weren't too fond of the idea.
After a while we were doing well, but I noticed that everywhere we went, I would catch a few pair of eyes looking at her. I would catch her talking to males after class, and yet she claimed that they were class partners.
At times, it took all my willpower to not beat both Sarah and the guy to the pulp, and it was becoming so aggravating that one night I was so elated that I told her if she truly loved me, and if she wanted me to believe her, she had to give me her virginity and she did.
Having taken her virginity made me feel as though I owned her, that she was mine forever, and nothing would take her away from me.
But soon enough, her virginity just wasn't enough. I wanted more. I craved for more.
Once I dragged her to the apartment then beat the s*** out of her because I caught her having lunch with this guy, and she even had the audacity to claim that they were studying, and that he was gay.
I was so blinded by my jealousy, that I didn't think to stop and remember the open laptop and the books on the table that day, or the seductive gaze I received from the guy.
After I beat her, I forced myself on her, because call me whatever you want, but her scream of pain just bring me to the moon and back.
That soon enough became a routine. Whether mad, sad, angry, or happy, I would take it out on her. It's like she became my little dummy, my pet.
When her parents started to open her eyes about the fact that if I truly loved her, I wouldn't be treating her that way, she started rebelling, so I killed them, but that only gave her strength to fight me off.
I admit I became a total maniac, a freak, and a sadistic bastard due to all my jealousy, but I just couldn't control it.
Believe me or not, I loved her, I really did, heck I still do, but the thought of her leaving me for another man was just terrifyingly aggravating. I couldn't control my actions, and the arousal I gained from endangering the one I loved didn't make it any better.
She was kind, she still is, if you needed something, she would be there for you, she was Dependable, caring, and responsible.
I was afraid of losing her, yet all I was doing was pushing her away.
I remember a day when I heard the song "Let Her Go" by Passenger, then ironically, someone opened a debate on the saying "if you love something, you let it go", and it had me pondering all the way home, and when I reached our apartment building, I made up my mind.
When I got to the apartment that night, she was already in a stance to fight me off, but instead I said "look I'm not here to terrorize you, actually the door is open, walk out whenever you want."
At first, she stared at me like I've grown two heads, but then she reluctantly walked towards the door, she stopped right below the doorframe, and that's when I sent out a secret prayer, hoping she wouldn't leave, but who was I kidding, without looking back she was gone.
I thought I would feel good for letting her go, but no, she was my possession, and I wanted her back.
I didn't want to just rush back into her life, so for a while I gave her space and freedom, while I stayed hidden in the shadows.
I wasn't sure if she would want me back since she refrained from dating anyone, but I guess it was proven true when she started dating that bastard named Damien.
*End of flashback*
When a jealous Veronica came along I took the opportunity to get my baby girl back. I mean all I had to do was pay her with sex and money.
Talk about a common w****.
My thoughts were cleared when Sarah tripped and fell, but she wasn't bleeding so I'm sure she's okay.
My love for Sarah has never faded, but my jealousy keeps getting in the way of our relationship, yet I can't help it when I see other people looking at her.
It irks me, makes me want to yell out "what the f*** are you looking at?!" or "She's mine! look away!".
Sarah doesn't know this, but when I first met her, I was about to get kicked out of school, and I would continuously get mixed in with the wrong crowd. When we started dating, she gave me a reason to want to succeed, because I wanted to do it for her, so that I could take care of her. Without her I was a lost cause.
When her parents got that vibe from me, they wanted to protect her, and I don't blame them, but I was also selfish, and knew that if she was taken away, I would have lost everything.
So my anger, jealousy, and fear of being weak and vulnerable took over and I murdered her parents.
But that was a huge mistake, because guilt was eating me alive, and whenever she broke down, I found myself inches from telling her that I murdered her parents. Not only so, I was angry at myself for causing her so much pain.
I hate myself so much that I-
*BANG!*
My thoughts were cleared when a gunshot went off, and soon, I found myself in the middle of a shootout.
