My Possessive Temptation

Chapter 27

*Jade's pnt. of view*

I managed to calm my breathing, with my tears now being the only sign that I was in emotional pain, while everyone stood in harmonious silence.

My mom however seem to be in a different place, for her eyes seemed far away. My dad's face read anger, and Tyler's own read pure joy.

The evil bastard.

"I need to go to the bathroom please." suddenly spoke my mom.

"All right Lucas take her." Ordered Tyler.

At The Mention of his name, my eyes snapped to him, and I wasn't surprised to find him staring at me, but I was, however, surprised by the sorrowful anger that shown through his orbs.

Lucas finally broke eye contact with me and he escorted my mom to the bathroom.

They came back a while after and when my mom was about to sit, she tripped and fell, and in the process she placed something in my dad's hand.

The action seem to go unnoticed by all except me, and when my mom and I made eye contact she sent me a wink and that's when I knew she had a plan.

I watched as the tears rolled down Jade's face as she tried to control her breathing.

I wanted to hold her, and comfort her, but all I could do was sit tight and compensate on how to get my family out and safely.

Not only so, my bump was getting bigger by day and I'm surprised that I have managed to keep it hidden from Tyler. I'm also thankful that the guards, although they are holding us captive, have kept quiet about my pregnancy.

The only problem I have is that something has been jabbing my foot for the past few days, and it has become so painful to the point where I think I cut my foot.

With the pain becoming absolutely unbearable I spoke up saying "I need to go to the bathroom please." Tyler looked over at me suspiciously yet he said "alright Lucas take her."

Lucas I I noticed hasn't taken his eyes off Jade, but after we've seen that horrid video, his glare turned into something tainted by anger and sorrow.

He walked behind me, removed my restraints and escorted me to the bathroom ever so gently, as I tried my very best to not limp, he then waited respectively for me outside.

When I sat down on the stool, I quickly removed my right shoe and the sole to to find a sharp piece of glass jammed into my shoe, that's when I remembered stepping on something sharp the night after escaping from Tyler.

I observed the piece of glass closely. If it was sharp enough to cut through the sole of my tennis shoe, then it should have the ability to cut through the rope they're using to keep us bound.

Realizing that I have taken long enough as far as "peeing" goes, I flushed the toilet then turned on the sink while I counted to 30 seconds.

When I exited the bathroom, I quickly formulated a plan on how to keep the glass a secret.

When I spotted Damien's Open Hands, it came to me.

I made sure to make it seem as though my foot tripped on Jade's chair, and when I "fell" I quickly placed the glass in Damien's open hand, and to my luck he closed his palm, and the glass and my actions went undetected.

Lucas helped me up, then I was once again bound to my chair. I saw Jade staring at me and I sent her a wink, reassuring her that I had a plan, but also silently hoping that Damien knew what to do with what I placed in his hands, and I also silently prayed that we all made it out alive.

Everyone stood silent and still while Jade managed her breathing, but I could tell she was crying.

The crazy thing about this is Who is Dean? And when did he fall in love with my daughter? Also how come my baby girl never mentioned him to me?

Well, maybe she is no longer a baby. I mean she has grown into her mother's twin over the past few years. Beautiful and confident.

As my mind started to drift off towards the memories of Jade and when she was just a girl, Sarah's voice snapped me back to reality.

"I need to go to the bathroom please.". At her voice Tyler looked at her suspiciously, yet when he ordered Lucas his eyes shone a different emotion.

"All right Lucas take her."

Lucas, another male that seems intrigued by my daughter, for he can't stop staring at her with such legible emotions shining in his eyes.

It's crazy how time goes by fast. It seem just like yesterday Jade was learning to ride a bike without having training wheels, and now, she's catching the eyes of the male species.

I was once again ripped from my daze when Sarah fell and placed something in my palm and on instinct I closed my palm, although it felt as if the object was cutting into my palm.

When Lucas finished tying Sarah up and he moved away from us, I opened my palm and with my thumb from my other hand, I managed to identify sharp edges, and it was as if a light bulb dinged, and everything made sense.

All I needed to do was cut the rope in one place, then I could pass it down to Sarah, and soon enough, we would be free of our restraints.

I just hoped that no one would notice our maneuvers.

Air.

Smooth, relaxing air was all I felt flowing through my lungs.

I felt myself in a lying position, and I felt my heavy limbs glued to a soft surface.

My heart pounded rhythmically, and my breathing was calm.

I felt at ease, and it was easy for sleep to take me over.

*Third person's pnt. of view*

After Dean was placed in recovery, the doctor called the man responsible for saving Dean's life.

Doctor: "So, the guy you brought into the hospital is gonna be alright. We almost lost him during the surgery, but he's a fighter, cause he's already in recovery. But he's gonna have to take it easy."

Masked man:" Alright man, thanks."

Doctor: "So tell me, what shenanigans did you get involved into now? What is he? The Russian mob? The Italian cartel? The mafia?"

Masked man: "you asking too much questions man. Don't worry about it."

Doctor:" I'm just looking out for you little bro."

Masked man:" Yeah I know. I'll come by to check up on him later."

Doctor: "cool, just be careful man."

Masked man:" When have I ever listened to you?"

Doctor:" never."

Masked man: "So why waste your time?"

Doctor:" to be honest I don't even know."

Masked man:" I'm shaking my head at you big bro. I'll see you later."

Doctor: "whatever."
